Cruise PV ChrisR dukan journey

I used to find when my weight stuck on weight watchers sw etc a binge would get it moving again.

Change as good as a rest? Very frustrating when it won't shift and you're doing everything you can think of. I admire your stamina, but if you're happy doing cruise, I suppose you can carry on doing it til you get there. Me, low toleration levels & attention span of gnat, I just got bored & fed up! hope the scales show a difference soon

Thanks ST Im ok still enjoying cruise but can't do it forever. Im a stubborn old mule and want to see it through to true weight although I know its only a guide. If not 11.4 then 11.7 I would be happy with

Saturday 18/2 PP
was in bed last night at 9.30 got very fidgety & grumpy so best place was bed - up early which I dont mind love a peaceful quiet house with the first cup of coffee and muffin. Its blowing a gale and pouring down with rain this morning MrR says its going to clear this afternoon - hope so ............
this week ive had stuff on my mind my son has decided his Uni & course is not for him and has stopped going because he is unhappy there. He isn't sure if he wants to go to another Uni in September or even what course he would want to do or whether to find a job! He's now looking for a job while he decides but of course there's not many jobs around ....... I certainly dont want to see my Son unhappy but I also dont want him doing nothing. It is a worry because I want him to do well in whatever he chooses but its hard if he doesnt even know himself ............ children!!! grown up ones are far more a worry than when small! 6'3" men keep quiet and dont say much its more of a guessing game!

Menu for today muffins, omelette, beef, water buffalo casserole - supposed to be less fat than beef and very tasty
Menu for tomorrow PV - muffins, eggs in spicy toms & peppers, lf bacon, roast dinner - roast chicken, bns, sprouts, greenbeans

Sunday 19/2 PV
Decided not to weigh this morning as Im going to have a fantastic week extra exercise, more water & tons more protien, less diary etc etc IM NOT GIVING IN - I've had this goal for 30 weeks so im not caving in after 3 weeks.
Yesterday had loads of good dukan food (water buffalo casserole was very nice) & a chilly 5 mile walk with the lovely MrR. Same again today weather looking OK. Muffins to make this morning nougat & caramel.
Have a good Sunday and thank you loads for all your help - it is very much appreciated :)

Gosh what a lot to have on your mind - difficult climate to be job searching but also the worst thing eva if you are not happy doing a course - uni isn't a breeze anyway and you really have to want to do the course you are doing - I hope something comes up for him soon. At least he has Mum and Dad behind him. Your no weigh plan sounds like a good idea especially with half term ahead of you and all your activities in place. Give it some welly like only a northern lass can Chris!!! My fingers and toes are staying crossed all week for you - go for it! xx

Agree with Trudy - having your Mum and Dad's support is so important, your Son must be finding it hard to work out what is right for him but he will get there in the end and be happier for it which is the main thing. I also think you are showing great strength of character, you know you'll lose some more in the end and are being as healthy as you can be. I think it can take a long time to lose the last few pounds and it is easy to get dispirited as you have become used to losing quicker. I feel less anxious now I'm only weighing once a month, even with going on a crazy carb-binge weekend I know that now I'm back on track it will slowly come off. We have done so well, focus on that.:)

Sunday 19/2
Michael Jackson and I have just walked 5 miles in just over an hour surprising how much faster I walk with music in my ears. Adele isnt bad to walk with either - ;) eggs & toms for lunch so all is well here. 36 muffins baked earlier plenty in the freezer for the next 11 days - nougat, caramel & hazelnut. Coconut flavouring should be here soon my all time fav. Thinking of doing the ironing as im out all day tomorrow lunch with friends and a spot of shopping :)

Coconut sounds like it would be my favourite but every time I try to buy it it's out of stock! Bet you've been buying it all ;)

Monday 20/2 PV
A PV today because Ive been out to lunch, it was good - grilled cajun chicken, salad and veg instead of potatoes & coffee. Lovely to catch up with friends from where I work - we are all in the same building but never get to see each other due to different timetables etc. Scooted around Tesco for some friendly Dukan stuff so not a bad day. Weather horrible today cold, windy and hasn't stopped raining since lunchtime :(
Out again tomorrow to see another lovely friend I used to work with havent seen her since before Christmas so it will be great to catch up over lunch & coffee again.

sounds like a lovely day chris :D

Glad your making the most of your time off Chris...... Hope you have a lovely week and Mr R joins you for some R+R at some point!! Back to work for me tomorrow - feel ready for it but will probably change my mind in the morning! LOL - my boss said he was glad to see me as he was tired out from doing my job!! LOL x

it does a boss good to see what you do on a daily basis. Yep making the most of this week the housework will always be here. Im walking with my lovely brother tomorrow just fingers x its dry. Dont think im going clothes shopping with my daughter she has a 3000 word essay due in on Friday up to now 700 done! :(

Tuesday 21/2 P?
Not sure what the dukan day will be today as im out again will just play it by ear - should be a PP if not then I will do 3 PP in a row to get me back to a normal pattern. Making the most of being off this week if im invited out to lunch then off I go - lol. I do want to stay in though at least one day to get my sewing machine out and to make some jewellery. Have these ideas floating in my head to make a pendant, need to do it before I forget!
This morning Im going to a Floral wholesaler with my dukan friend from work - I can only go when I'm off as its a trek away. Think I'll buy some birthday gifts while im there. Then lunch at an ex colleague we havent seen since November.

So looking forward to going to Holland 4 weeks tomorrow just hope our darling students behave always a worry but they usually do.

Right I'm off busy day ahead got to fit in a walk too at some point - my daughter has devised a exercise plan for us - on her trampoline - ummm should be interesting. Have a good dukan day x

Tuesday 21/2
One of my son's fav eating day's Pancake Tuesday I will probably spend an hour in the kitchen making them for my handsome son - at least 12! Good job he has hollow legs. Going to give Jo's recipe a go although Im not that fussed on pancakes anyway - by the time its my turn Ive gone off them :)

I never usually bother with pancake day but might give the recipe a whirl just to see. could be good for an extra snack after using the oatbran up. will possibly make real pancakes for hubby but he probably wont be that fussed either

Ive just walked in and the first thing my son said is 'its pancake day Mum, have WE got everything in'. WE have, good job I've bought a new omelette pan. I've had a lovely day today im very lucky as I have some fab friends. Bought some easter floral stuff for a spring door wreath I want to do and we visited a craft centre so bought some cross stitch needles and a new crochet hook for the wired jewellery I do. im off to collect child 1 from Uni in half an hour so just enough time for a quick coffee. See you later dukan friends x

Sounds like a lovely day Chris. THe walk with your brother sounds lovely. HMMMMM not sure about the trampoline work out session!! Think if I tried it it may end in tears - I think I am a bit clumsy!!! Really lovely that you are getting a chance to relax and enjoy time with friends as it's so easy for the time to fly by and not get round to these things. Hope the rest of your week is as much fun xx
