Cruise PV ChrisR dukan journey

Foggy here! Booo! Has been like this for 3 days , cleared a bit this afternoon but otherwise damp and dank. No post and lots of cranky people. Love it

Sunday 26/2 PV
Ive lost 1 this week so perhaps things are moving 'downwards' again - had transition issues ........ I will just keep going for a bit longer - 4 weeks to Holland so thats a nice mini target for me. Had a another 4 miles walk with Adele last night - tv was rubbish. I cant half walk a lot quicker with music in my ear MrR knows when the tempo of the music has changed and he says my arms sometimes dance - LOL. I cant help it, love music of any sort except Jazz and Heavy Metal and some of the dreadful stuff my son likes. Ipod needs updating so im thinking Kasabian, more Coldplay & Snowpatrol etc etc job for today. Back to work tomorrow parents evening tomorrow night which should be interesting - things become more clearer once you meet a parent.

Its a PV yehhhhhhhh - muffins, beef, roast chicken & veg sprouts, roast celeriac & courgette :) :) :)

Sunday 26/2 PV
Just adding up with MrR the miles we've walked since last weekend including later today ........ 20 miles not bad eh ........... at my heaviest I hated walking/exercise getting all hot & bothered & I moaned all the time. MINUS 49lbs makes .................. a humungous difference

Lovely morning here now! Feels spring like so I may go for a cycle 

I agree chris its amazing the difference losing weight feels to the old fitness levels - I noticed at Xmas I could walk the cliff paths without the effort it used to take, and my lung capacity is so much better when swimming. The other odd - well good thing- is I used to get stress incontinence (sneezing could be embarrassing!) which I put down to growing older, but none at all now so it must have been the weight. Result all round!

Glad to see youve lost another lb, hope you reach target before your trip, are you going to do conso whilst away, if you need to you could restart cruise when you get back?

yes your right ST there are many other benefits to Dukan other than watching the scales go down never felt so well ...........
Not sure about Holland re: cruise/conso its only 5 days away and my dukan colleague/good friend is with me so will be taking food with us for the ferry, plenty muffins will be baked before we go and then we are out & about so Im going to try my hardest not to mess my regime about! Breakfast will be fine plenty of meat, eggs and yoghurt so oatbran will be sorted too. No temptation with alcohol (doesnt interest me anyway) college policy, staff drinking whilst working = the sack. It's the cakes I'm more bothered about - one of my colleagues will be saying every hour "is it sticky bun time" he can eat whatever he likes & does not put an ounce on.

Sooo good to see your plan for Holland includes Dukan and really helped by the fact that your Dukan buddy is going along too!!! Bet you are really looking forward to it! Well done on the 1 lb loss - you must be pleased! Gosh you clocked up a lot of mileage this week - lets hope you can keep it going next week and that this fine weather continues. Back to college tomorrow?

Monday 27/2 PP
Back to work for me this morning its only a 5 week term and 5 days of that Im enjoying the floral delights of Holland :) shame there are 35 students going too! Plenty of work to do though level 3 students are exhibiting at Harrogate show at the end of April but we are off for 2 weeks for Easter so we will be pressed for time. And our dept is helping at a fund raising event at college for a male cancer charity on the 15/3 where the students will exhibit their work and be involved on the night so yep plenty to do besides their assignments and practical work too.
Didnt want to get up this morning but Im up now just need to get ready.....
Yes ST thought I'd put a little pic of one of my walks near home - it is very beautiful.
Trudy I walked again for 4 miles last night with MrR must have been tired as I was lagging behind even with Adele's music. The sole of my foot is sore so ......... I probably will not bother tonight as it will be late when I get home because of parents evening.
Have a good dukan day everyone I'm definately going to have one roast beef & salmon. Got my water bottle all ready :) :) :)

Holland will be fun, I love it there.:)
this will be my third time but we've been to different places each time but always go to Amsterdam. The whole trip is based around the floristry industry but we still have a fab time - very tiring & at times stressful e.g. crying students that have lost their passport ....... but great fun and good to be out of the classroom.

Hope you had a good day Mrs R xxx

Thurs 1/3/12

Hope you had a good day Mrs R xxx

Yes thank you Trudy work good ......... no problems we couldnt handle :D young ladies falling out in class etc etc xxx

End of the working week for me today, finish at 2.30 lets hope I can get away and be home to sort this tip out. Work & being a mother/wife/maid/cleaner/taxi driver/PA/Personal shopper/chef/financial executive/manage a launderette (anything else?) does not go together does it?

I admit to being untidy but ............ its not just my mess. Oh well its not going to go away is it I just have to stop moaning got to put some washing in/do the dishwasher/make the beds then I can go and earn some money ..................
have a good day x

I feel your pain Mrs R!!!!LOL - I just braved the utility room and it looks like a bomb has gone off - stuff everywhere. I just waded through it and bagged it up for the various girls and loaded the machines before walking out again - honestly how clothes are supposed to come out cleaner from that mayhem I will never know!!! Did laugh at my three year old walking through the house this morning saying, it's lovely and tidy in here Mummy!!! LOL - thats thanks to the cleaner visiting yesterday Ben!!! Mind you since my clothes sort out and de-clutter I am managing to keep the house sooooo much tidier - with only one day off a week the expense of a cleaner is vital cos I don't want to spend my day off dusting or cleaning the fridge, skirting, bathroom etc!!! Best money I have ever decided to spend and means I only have to throw the hoover around once in a blue moon!!! Anyway sounds like you will be kept busy with you endless job list this weekend. My fingers are crossed for good weather for good walks and a good weigh in!! x

Sat 3/3 PP
another PP today must have my roast dinner tomorrow - where has the past week gone? doesnt seem a minute since last weekend. Everywhere here is nodding daffodils and snowdrops - love it. Soon there will be dancing lambs everywhere too :) Does make me feel so much better when I think of spring & summer and this year Im three and half stones lighter - WOW <shakes my head>
I've been feeling stressed/worried with my son recently and my daughter with her finishing her final uni year too there is just no jobs around. It will get sorted I know ........... nothing planned for this weekend MrR is shattered he has had a hard week too so we are just chillin .... Ive really got to find the time to go clothes shopping for Holland though. Fingers crossed today its as lovely as yesterday had loads to do yesterday so didnt get chance for a walk thought if i get jobs done I would have more time for a chilled weekend. A friend called too which was nice to see her.
Have a good day everyone wherever and whatever you are doing :) x

off to sunny :) no wet :( Southport with MrR (is that a good thing? - not sure will let you know when I get back) :-0

Have a nice day :)

Well if your shopping in Southport then the rain won't matter but if your trying to get a walk in, good luck, we had horrible rain this morning then a burst of sunshine for about an hour or so and now raining again but the sun is trying to shine - make up your mind weather!!! Hope you have a lovely day with Mr R regardless. How I miss weekends off!!! Monday lie in just not the same as Sunday lie in!!! LOL!

just got back home killed two birds with one stone a long walk from the furthest car park to the shops and some shopping bought a new top and some spotty cotton pyjamas for Holland in M & S. Lunch was a nice ham omelette in a little cafe. The sun kept shining so a nice day was had by us both - feet up now watching TV although its mindless rubbish .............
