Cruise PV ChrisR dukan journey

It's great when you work with Dukeners, I do too but think sometimes we could border on boaring because we are so enthusiastic about this diet we talk all the time about weight loss, recipies and generally motivating each other, and all of us are loosing even our black sheep who must still have her wine on a weekend! You'll keep to it in Holand with your friends help and her you. Maybe a couple of treats but these thing happen x

Yay that's fab chris :D

some jobs done today but not many, an improvement from yesterday - I feel tired and lethargic which is not like me - usual worries with my son but other than that ........ anyway I'm enjoying watching England v France. France scored NO!
Roast dinner later the usual chicken, bns, sprouts :), brocolli & a tad of gravy. The crew are having yorkshire pud & sausage too. Hope everyone has had a good dukan weekend x

Well the start of a new week and Holland to look forward to. Hope you have a great day today Chris and are ready to set off on Wednesday! x

Monday 12/3 PP
just back from work, 5 mins online before I start my 2nd job - homemaker. My dukan day OK except my lovely dukan friend is now still my friend but not dukan. In her words 'I cant do it' a shame really as she has lost 2 stone, dont understand but if thats her choice to do WW then thats fine ...... personally cannot fault Dukan but its not for everyone the same as SW & WW is not for me it didnt work. Hope she doesnt put the 2 stone back on before her summer wedding I hope not ................ anyway cup of coffee now xx

Well the start of a new week and Holland to look forward to. Hope you have a great day today Chris and are ready to set off on Wednesday! x

Thanks T yes plenty to do this week - mothers day one of the busiest times for florists upto now 30 bouquets ordered for this Friday, charity event this Thursday and Holland a week on Wednesday :D

Oh I thought it was this week - duh - I am slow!!! AWWW shame about your friend dropping out of Dukan - really hope that WW works for her and that the weight doesn't return!!! Your right though, every person is different and I do understand why some people would find Dukan just too hard. I like the rules but sometimes yearn to have a bit of cake etc!!!! However once I start on naughty food I don't usually stop which is why I think Dukan is good for me personally also because I was totally addicted to carbs!!!! Hope the sun shines and work flies by - lots of orders for Mothers Day - that will keep you busy - hope your children treat you to something special - I LOVE flowers, hate plants cos I kill them all!!! LOL!

Well I lost a Dukan friend today also, the evil wine won. .....She threw the towel in such a shame she was doing well, so my support group at work is down to four of us now, and I would love your job I adore flowers x

I know it is a shame when they can see results in front of their eyes. Thank goodness its worked for me - its getting into a good frame of mind and being ready to not let what you can't eat bother you ..........
or what everyone else is eating non Dukan (which I think is what's bugging my friend)

half the week gone already and not a pot washed (as my lovely mum used to say) a good dukan day yesterday but strange to see my friend eating a banana! I tried on loads of clothes last night from last summer oh my goodness I look like I have a tent on ......... amazing. newish lovely black tailored linen pants now hanging off me, my husband has just said but thats great - It is fantastic but how do I find the money to replace a full summer wardrobe I ask? Linen shirts, tshirts, crop pants etc etc etc Im slowly replacing underwear ........... wondered why my tops dont feel comfy under a cardigan - DOH they are too big!

Ebay will be busy over Easter ......... have a good dukan day everyone x

I'm afraid there is a very expensive side to losing weight Chris but oh it is soooooo worth it!!! I am the same - I took a bag of lovely clothes to the charity shop this week and now have another one sat in the boot of the car ready to go, really I need to go through my wardrobe again and get rid of all the stuff that is too big, when I dropped off the bag on Monday I then bought more stuff - charity shops proving to be winners atm!!! Hope your friend finds a program that works for her - many ways to Rome and all that. Hard not to feel a tad frustrated though when we all know that the four stages of Dukan will hopefully lead to a lifestyle change that lasts for life. I KNOW that I will not be able to start over again if I re-gain the weight, so for me this really is last chance saloon - if this doesn't work then I will be one of those old ladies that is stuck in their house unable to fit through the door so there is alot riding on Dukan. Just before starting the plan I was sooooo despondant about life and myself and surgery seemed the only option - then I saw my cleaner who had had the op pile on the weight again as chocolate fits through a gastric band!!!! Then I knew it wouldn't work for me. Your mind is your strongest tool and I just keep remembering that!!!

Im lucky in the sense that some of my dresses were a style that i can tie the waistband a bit tighter... and my sister in law has donated lots of size 12 jeans to me... she does a lot of rummaging in charity shops lol... everytime she buys a new batch of clothes she gives a batch to me. the ones that i wouldnt wear are back in the charity shop bags. im also buying stuff on ebay. as for summer stuff im hoping primark will kit me out lol

Friday 16/3 PP
had an excellent day/night yesterday we all worked very hard for the event which was to raise money for a male cancer charity ...... our department raised £1500 the students worked well guiding people to the venue and selling raffle tickets. All the students designs were exhibited for the guests to view - and I won a floral design that one of the master florists had made on stage ....... so I was chuffed it was actually 2 designs so I gave one to my now non dukan friend :) I am cream crackered this morning didnt sleep well legs aching from being on my feet all day and night but burning calories girls you never know scales may be good to me. Weigh in tomorrow as Im out tomorrow night with my little family to celebrate MrRs birthday and Mothers Day. Busy weekend usual stuff plus sorting stuff for my trip to Holland on Wednesday. The staff are looking forward to it but as always apprehensive and will be glad when we are back on the Sunday.

Today is a PP day so muffins, not sure about lunch will have to see what I can find in sunny Southport. Tonight roast chicken and spicy chilli.
Shopping later with my gorgeous girl, awhile since we've both had a day together ........ so looking forward to that it will be a bonus if I come home with shopping bags with some new clothes. Going to have to try them on before I buy which is something I hate doing ........... wish me luck LOL

That's a wonderful amount raised Chris, well done to you all. Enjoy your shopping and your daughter :)

Enjoyed our day out, we have only just got back. My daughter is going to a comedy club tonight with her BF and some of their friends ...... she has to be ready for 7 so shes panicking - 2 hours I can be ready in 30 mins :) Ive bought a Next top and white shirt/blouse and a fine hoody type sweater from Wallis. One gripe though no long trousers again, fine if I want to wear a business suit! but can I find any casual pants can I eck ......... didnt try them on as it was so busy and im very tired too think I'll be in bed early tonight. New library book so yep bed will be calling. Hope everyone has had a good day and is looking forward to a good dukan weekend x

Chris thought of you today when simply be catalogue arrived, had lovely bootleg jeans (or lots of other styles) in extra long length for £16 - thought it was a bargain - also had long length trousers but they were a bit more expensive!!! Just a thought. Glad you had a good day with your daughter. Fingers crossed for WI for you. Hopefully all your walking and long days at work will have done the trick!!! x

I'll check simply b out thanks Trudy going into our local town tomorrow MrR birthday and he wants a new pair of trainers for our walking expeditions! So he has to choose them because we would get the wrong pair. So will look for new trousers as well. Im off to bed feel shattered x
