A sad day but also lovely happy thoughts of a gentle loving man. The service was very moving and really only got upset when I saw my friend. The hard bit starts from today for her and her family as life just moves along even though they are hurting. Thank you everyone for your thoughts today.

My house looks like a bombsite - havent done much this week as Ive been really tired but tomorrow I can blitz it all. It will take me an hour just to put the washing into piles of similar colours - OMG - so Id better make a start. Shopping on Saturday for the wedding outfit oh what a chore thought I would love shopping 4 stone lighter but sad to say I don't - I do like the coffee stops and lunch though

food today has been muffins, chicken salad, yoghurt, and tonight its chilli with green beans. Bought some rhubarb from local farmers market and my new flavouring have arrived - my son has just put his nose to it and said 'Mum just smells like peanut butter, not sure about the milk chocolate'.
Think I might just bake some muffins to taste test ...... will let you know later :drool: hope this is me in a couple of hours xxx

Im not disappointed peanut flavouring is nice in muffins but wonder whether I've put enough in. Trying in yoghurt tomorrow when Ive made some overnight - taste test milk choc tomorrow too.

I am really interested in the flavourings, mine came today, hazelnut and caramel, off tomorrow so am going to try to make something with them, how much did u put in muffins?

I've only used Dukan flavours and they last me ages as I only really use them in muffins and the odd yoghurt - CD have you tried the others?

Im sat here with 3 layers on and my fur slipper boots and it is May! sorry for the moan I want to wear all my new linen clothes but .............. I had a sweet omelette for brekkie with rhubarb and a dollop of homemade very thick natural yoghurt it was lovely plus a peanut muffin (not convinced yet - didnt sleep well, why? - dont know, but I kept tasting the peanut muffin I had for supper) lunch is a free range fat chicken roasting as we speak and tonight erm not sure yet probably salmon. Unless I see something delectable in morrisons later - need to go for vegetables and salad stuff. Jobs today and then its to the Trafford Centre tomorrow morning with my beauty of a no 1 child. Hope we dont have words she gets exasperated with me at times as I'm very hard to please when I'm clothes shopping - have a good day everyone x

thank you Mirjam years since ive had to dress up for a wedding - starting to panic, the wedding is on the 4th June and what if I dont like or get anything - hate clothes shopping with a passion
