ClaireCat: trials and tribulations

Well, here's today's menu as it stands so far:

B: pork scratchings (0.3g)
L: Oopsie beef burger with bacon and mayo (2g)
S: SF jelly (0.9g)

3.2g carbs so far. I know theres a distinct lack of greens so far, but I ran out of salad at home and was planning to get some on my lunch break. But its bucketing down here and decided not to leave the office.

Anyone see anything wrong with my menu so far? I'm probably going to have courgette chips and fried chicken breast with some garlic mayo for dinner - unless I think sod it and eat pizza.

Its debatable at the moment.
 
aww dont give up love, i know its disheartening. Drink plenty of water and ill be back with some mayonnaise stalling news in a mo. im sure it stalls me x
 
erm no the research is futile ;) have you thought about logging your foods on fitness pal?? have you only had this problem since buying the deep fat frier? it could be the contagious carbs ;)
 
Haha! Nah, its not the deep fat fryer. I cant even blame it on that.

Dont tell me any nasty stories about mayo!!! lol!

Maybe I'm eating too many calories, or not enough carbs. Or maybe I'm just special - and not in a good way :(

You think so? Even though I'm making mine with egg and mayo? I abandoned the cream cheese last week when it the "cheese" part of the word clicked in my head! lol!
 
Oh don't give up!!! Eat more veggies, it really does help!

Yeah, I think I'm going to have to start eating more carby veggies to get my carb count up. Its either that or I'm going to have to start eating crisps and cake.

Think I'll need to rethink my eating plan for Thursday (my new WI week).
 
how many carbs you on love?
 
Been trying to aim for 30g a day. But I dont usually manage it. Without stuffing my face constantly all day, I'm at a bit of a loss as to how to reach it! I could always eat a snickers! lol!

Sitting staring at the pizza hut menu. Dont even think i really want pizza. Just fancy cheese! And I'm verging on comfort eating.
 
dont do pizza hut its too expensive lol. have some cheese love.
nuts are a good way of upping carbs. have a look on fitness pal and see my menus if you join up (am i on commission)
 
Yeah, I've been eating peanuts like they could go out of fashion! Really love cashews, so might have them seeing as they are more carby.

Thinking I might still have pizza hut cuz its in my head now! Only time will tell. 40mins to make a decision! xD

I'll attempt to work out this fitness pal thing. My issue is, I make batches of muffins etc and I have no idea how many calories etc are in them because I only count carbs. Am I physically going to have to work out what is in each individual item I put in them and work everything out seperately?

Am I make it too complicated?! lol!

I'm definitly going clean and green as of Thursday/Friday. Will just need to eat all my atkins bars before then!
 
Hi Claire, hope you can figure out what you want to do. Sounds like it might be the hormones that are causing probs - in which case every pizza that you DONT eat will eventually turn up as a loss;)

Yes you are making it too complicated. dont need to be so exact love x also you should be eating more fat than protein that really helps too.
go on and log everything on there you might be surprised at what you are having x
and you dont have to eat the atkins bars they will still be there next week xxxx
 
I may have ate half a regular stuff crust meat feast pizza... grand total of 60.3g carbs (according to their website anyway!)

La la la la la.

Oh, and it was expensive, and crap. *bad mood Claire today*
