Day one of Low GI and already I'm paranoid! The yogurt I had for breakfast was 12g carbs! lol! I'm sure it'll be fine! Just weird after being so focused on carbs for such a long time!

Think I'll have porridge for lunch! Nom nom! :D
 
Just came back from holland and barrat, bought a couple of protein bars and a precision engineering cookies & cream whey protein!

Just made myself a glass of cookies and cream with skimmed milk... OMG.... it was like an oreo cookie milkshake!!! Reminded me of the oreo krushem from kfc!

I like! :D
 
I went to buy new work trousers yesterday - Im a size 16, and have been for a while now.

Tried on two pairs yesterday and couldnt get them fastenened. I refuse to buy a size 18!!! :(

Feel like I've squeezed myself into my work trousers this morning... bah.

morning. Did you try trews from different shops than usual? I can usually fit ok in new look, but dorothy perkins has me depressed LOL.
 
I was just in asda looking for cheap work trousers! Didnt want to spend a fortune on the basis I'll be super skinny soon and will have to replace my wardrobe anyway! lol!

The trousers im wearing today (or the trousers I squeezed into this morning) are from asda. My dorothy perkins size 16's are a bit too big, and the 14s are way to small! lol!

Just feeling frumpy today. But im back to having a constant period, so I'm hoping thats the culprit! :(
 
Its the only excuse I have, and I'm sticking to it! lol! :p
 
I wonder if the constant period will go when doing gi? really low carb always messes me up x
 
I know how you feel, bought new work trousers last Wednesday, put them on this morning and they feel much tighter than when I bought them - what is that all about????
 
You're doing really well Claire ... Different shops same size - never really makes sense when they don't fit ...

It must be really hard to get your head around the Carbs! I'd be freaking out! Lol :)
 
lol! I am freaking out. Fully expecting a gain this week! I'm doing it, the way the book states, and avoiding the scales until Saturday.

So as you can see, I'm not expecting anything. Hoping I'll be pleasently surprised! lol!

And Vicky, I'm hoping the carbs sort out my period. Driving me crazy! Had it for over a week again now! Grr!!!
 
I went to like that but i dont really LOL. Yes carbs deffo (touchwood) sorted mine out. Ive actually only had one in 4 weeks :)
you will be fine, this is the stage on the diet where you shouldnt weigh cos it will fluctuate but then after the 3 stages you should lose xxx

Yeah, Vicky, the book said I might have a slight loss this week, and probably sts or even a small gain next week because of the higher carbs. So hopefully, come the end of the three weeks, the next phase will prompt regular losses.

And hello Jim! I'm not bad. Suffering from a severe case of clock watching today - but i think thats because I know I'm off tomorrow to get more ink! YAY!

Munching my lunch! Having honey mustard chicken with butternut squash and sweet potato! Delish! :D

Think I might make chicken satay for dinner! Nom nom! :)
 
I'm hoping there's no exact science to my new diet because the book doesnt mention anything about carb limits, calorie intake or how much protein I should be having. Everything I'm doing is pretty much pure guesstimation! lol!

Just having a small panic as I ate, what can only be described as "disappointinly bad", Special K Breakfast bar. Probably all the wrong kind of carbs!

Who knows? The scales no doubt! lol!

I figure because my calorie intake is pretty low, then theres no real way I could be gaining weight? Is there?! I mean, beside water from the carbs!

Am I rambling? I am, arn't I?! lol!
