How are you today claire? I love your new avatar too a police woman.. You are talking about going to the gym, you have the right motivation.. I need to follow your lead and I havent been sick and in bed..
 
Aw yeah, Claire when you are better we could all have a competition to see who does the most exercise! lol

hey matey claire how are you hun? much better.. you talking about going to the gym have made me feel guilty. I'm healthy as a horse and have no excuse why I shouldn't go.. I'm going to start going to a spinning course on wednesdays I have no excuse ...
 
Spinning?

is that with wool and stuff, is that exercise. I can just see you with a spinning wheel a craft fairs and stuff. ;)

Morning all, feeling ok today. Back to work on lates tmoz so need to make sure i'm fighting (quite literally) fit. Still tempted to go to the gym but also don't want to overdo things too soon and relapse. Once all the carbs are out my cupboard - only 2 slices seedy bread, some marks n sparks fresh soup n an iceland carbonara type thing i'll be back on it so i reckon that'll be tmoz. So i guess i should really go food shopping today in preparation for getting back on the wagon again.

Well done on starting the spinning course More, spinning is nails!

hey claire I haven't started the spinning course yet but I'm looking at doing it on wednesdays since that is the only day that I can go to the gym..

Ah tough as nails, that makes sense Claire, just hadn't heard is expressed as just "Nails" :)
 
Very probably Laura, the full expression was certainly in use when I was in the Army.
 
YAY - I've managed to gather enough enthusiasm to get my flabby ass down the gym! Go me! 5km on treadmill n weights - DONE.

Also went food shopping ready to get back on it tmoz. Have bought some oatso simple sachets (original) which are 16g carbs each. I intend on having these when i'm working earlies or due a long day in work. I'm going to up my carbs to around 30g a day and hopefully up the exercise levels with it. I don't think 30g is too high really considering i have around 9lbs to go now. What do you think More/Jim??

Thanks matey, believe me it took some serious words with myself to get there!! It hurt too, my legs are gonna feel like dead weights tmoz lol. But hey, i went and i did it. That's the main thing.
