Evening cookie... Wow your food looks amazing! You've made me want a weetabix cake tomorrow :) that's Breakfast sorted, thanks :)

I'm off yay! I've some leave to use up by end of March or I lose it. Thursday isn't the best day as Brett's in work but it's not easy to get the weekend late shifts off. I'm enjoying the rest too.

I liked the Weetabix muffins took no time at all really xx
 
It was lovely. Brett only had 2 mushrooms bless him but he had hash browns & black pudding with pork sausages. I've not found those low syn meat sausages so had Linda McCartney red onion ones. Xx
 
Tea was gorgeous. Food today is Green:-

B = scan bran cake (1/2 hexb + 1), fruit & yogurt.
L = sausage & bean stew, veg & giant couscous with cheese (hea), looks horrid but tastes good, banana & clementine
S = nibble of fi size mars (1) & hi fi light (1/2 heb)
D = LMC red onion sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, beans & scrambled egg with 1 x w/m bread (1/2 heb)
A = weetabix muffin (1/4 heb), berries & yogurt

Oh no Cookie, really sorry to hear that hun, but I can't understand why :confused: . Your food diary has been brill everyday this week. You incorporate plenty of fruit and veg in all your meals, more than others I know here (me included :rolleyes:), your food always looks so healthy. I definitely don't think it's to do with your food. The only thing I can think of is water weight. Are you drinking enough fluids everyday Cookie ? Also it's not your TOTM soon is it ? I try to drink a minimum of 2L a day. Also maybe this week try mixing up the plans a bit, do some red days and some green. Maybe try some body magic, light walking or something ? Just to kick start that metabolism :) .

Oh cookie! How frustrating, it could be water weight as Kay says sometimes your body seems to have a bit of a panic and holds on to weight. Just keep doing what you are doing the scales will show your hard work soon x
 
Hello, I really don't know what it is I'm doing wrong. I know I'm not drinking as much as I use to so I will try and drink a lot more. This weight loss journey is a lot more emotional than I thought it would be.
I just need a hug. :cry:
 
Aww cookie.... I'll send some (((hugs))) to you! You've been spot on with your food, you always are, so it must be hormonal... No harm in drinking a bit more water though to see if it makes a difference..... Chin up chuck xxx
 
Hello & thank you all, thanks for hugs too, I really appreciate it. I didn't see my C today she wasn't there but there are a couple of ladies who go who are also C's & spoke to one of them very briefly.
Not sure what to change in my food but I've drank half a litre of water so far & I'll try to increase that each day.
Brett says I'm stressing about the diet so I need to try not to. Lets see how my week goes x
 
I'm drinking some more water trying to do another half a litre of it before bed. Brett says no to taking a break from SW & I don't want to either so I'm hanging on in there. I've done a little body magic today and that felt good so let's see how this week goes.


Food today is EE:-
B = weetabix muffin (1/4 hex b but I didn't enjoy it that much) & banana
L = salmon fillet, boiled egg salad with lighter mayo (0.5), clementine.
S = fruit & yogurt
D = jacket potato, cheese (hex a), baked beans, tuna mayo (1), salad
A = scan bran carrot cake muffin & water.

Puzzle for you. I made scan bran cake into muffins & got 6 out the batch, I've eaten just 1 = so not a true hex but will it hinder my loss? I'm not hungry so I don't really want anything more to eat or should I still have a hi fi light bar later for supper with a cuppa? Xx
 
Sorry about the gain Cookie - I cant explain why either ((HUGS))

Youve either not had or not updated syns for the last 2 days, are you using enough? What about having a full hex of each instead of splitting them ie a full allowance of bread or scan bran. I personally wouldnt cut back on your eggs if you like 2 have them, they are free and no reason why you shouldnt. I had 4 in one day the other day cos id had boiled with lunch and 2 fried with tea.

What about filling a food diary in for the week and letting your consultant see it
Instead of writing salad itemise what you have had (just like success express) and then you will see if your having enough superfree.


Apart from upping fluids as your doing I cant think of anything else - Stay positive hun it will come off your doing brill xx

My C always says you cant split your hex unless its something its something thats meant to be split - like weetabix and milk you could have 1 weetabix and half milk on a morning and half for supper. You cant split milk and cheese for example you have one or the other.

It may help and it may not but worth a try hun. xx
 
Yes your absolutely right about the hex's I know you can split some of the b choices but probably not the way I've been doing it. :doh:I'm going to re read my book but I'd like to just try eating one heb in full.

Food today I need to edit, I had the crust of one slice of Brett's pizza, is that about 4 syns? That would mean I'm up 6.5 I'm not eating anything else tonight as I'm not hungry :) and I've nearly finished 2nd lot of water :D Xx
