Cookie's diary to be joyously slim

I will, the first one is Saturday evening reception so I was going to wear a Playsuit if its warm, that's in town but on Sunday that's in the Lakes so its a drive up there in the morning, for the ceremony at 3pm! That's the big one as its one of my top pals, I know that's the one I'm going to eat and drink at. Can you believe it two weddings the same weekend? It's expensive but should be good. Got a choice of two dresses for Sunday, maxi and a short one I'm thinking short as I'm short but not sure yet! X

My SW quiche is ready and smells good I put pack of pasta n sauce in it so the whole pan is 1 syn it'll do us both two dinners.

Fridge is full of free and super free too. Oh sounds like the BF is home from work, back in a tick x

The quiche is very easy:-
Two tubs of cottage cheese, onion & chive
4 eggs
400ml water
Batchelors pasta n sauce I used cheese leek & ham for 1 syn
Mushrooms & peppers.
1/4 tsp garlic granules

I diced up the peppers & mushrooms to small bits and sprinkled at the bottom of the tin.
In a bowl I whisked up four eggs, seasoned with salt n pepper, then I added the cottage cheese, garlic granules, the water and the pasta n sauce.
I poured it into the tin on top of the veggies
Baked in the oven for around 30-35 mins at 160

The BF absolutely loves it, he had it with spaghetti & I had it with baked beans for lunch for 1/4 syn. Gorgeous

My BF is a naughty he came home with these bad boys! Oh he says, don't worry they're for me I'm looking out for you.

I on the other hand had fruit yogurt & 1/4 scan bran cake for my pudding
So food today is:- breakfast = gala melon. Lunch = 1/4 SW pasta quiche (1/4) with baked beans, 1/4 scan bran cake (1/2), fruit & yogurt. Snack = banana.
Dinner = turkey burger, egg salad with couscous (1) & pasta (1/2), then 1/4 scan bran cake, fruit & yogurt (1/2)

I've still got my hex a & 1/2 hex b to use probably a latte & hi fi light bar or cheese on toast! I'll see how I feel as full now.
Total syns = 3 as rounded up from 2.75. Good day today no cock ups! X

Hahaha! Oh I see! I don't even let son and OH use by bowls! Lol. Well you're not far from me at all so I can be there in less than an hour! :p oh poo, I've got work and footy :-( lol xx

We've got a very chilled weekend planned - I need a rest as I've had five consecutive birthday celebratory weekends (greedy, I know, but it was the big 3-0!) and I'm shattered! We're going to a charity quiz night thing on Saturday evening but apart from that hopefully everything will be pretty laid back.

How about you? xx

Wow! Sounds like you've had a super time celebrating a rest is just what you need to recharge your batteries. We've got a wedding reception on Saturday night in town its one of the BF's mate from work (with a hot buffet to contend with) and then on Sunday were going to the lakes for my friends wedding and its all day plus staying over night. I'm really looking forward to it. I love weddings but its proving expensive so far and were not there yet! Xx

Boo to work and footy, all summer Brett's been moaning about no football and now the season started he wants to watch it all day, doesn't matter who's playing. In fact he went to the city game last week then when he came home he watched it again! Then he taped MOTD for the highlights. It makes no sense to me!

Oh wow - that sounds fab! I know what you mean about expensive though. My best friend got married in March and I was the maid of honour. It cost me a fortune!! I wouldn't change any of it, but the costs really do add up!

I'm sure you'll do well with the buffet - there are usually some decent choices you can make xx
