Cookie's diary to be joyously slim

I like your positivity miss corset, I know I can make good choices generally and Sunday is the day I plan to have what I want within reason of course, so I've decided that as Saturday I'm going to be good, might eat before we go out not sure yet then Sunday is my treat day. Then Monday onwards back on plan and will keep syns low.

Well that's what I told my C at wi today and she liked it, someone suggest making speed soup! Does anyone have a recipe for this as I can't find it on the website? Xx

That sounds like a good plan, lovely.

I've never tried superspeed soup - tend to have carrot and corriander or potato and leek made by my lovely OH. Here's a recipe though...xx

Ingredients
1 can mixed bean salad
1 can green lentils
2 cans chopped tomatoes
1 can baked beans
Handful of split lentils
2 large leeks
1 large onion
4 large carrots
2 parsnips
Green, red or yellow pepper
2 beef stock cubes
Salt & pepper
Mixed herbs
(I also add garlic and chilli, though these aren’t in the original recipe!)

Method

  1. Add all the ingredients into a large soup pot, with enough water to cover all the ingredients
  2. Bring to the boil, then simmer for approximately 30 minutes, or until vegetables are soft
  3. Either leave chunky, or blend for a smooth soup

Ooh that sounds lovely thank miss corset, I've got everything except the lentils, parsnips and carrots. Sounds really filling too. I might make a batch up on Saturday and freeze portions for after the weekend.
Well time for me to go to work now, have a good day and if I can't get back on tonight I'll cu in the morning xxx

Hey Cookie well done :) resisting those doughnuts and on the 0.5 lbs weight loss on bday week :) weddings do cost but will be a lot if fun, sounding great - enjoy!

Good morning, I had a bit of lie in this morning. Was surprised to see the rain, my Afro doesn't do well in this weather, I've been doing my hair for an hour now to make it ok to go out and get some bits done before work but I really can't be bothered. How's everyone? X

Hi Cookie, some mornings are just hard work to get going hey. Currently I'm still in pjs as home poorly, really don't do viral infections but hey oh we aren't left with a choice. Sticking to plan though and had a play around with some older pics and current ones to compare and see how I've done thus far to keep me positive :). Have a lovely day - nearly into your fun wedding weekend. :)

An hour?! Wow lol. Just out of curiosity, what do you do to it? Do you put stuff on it? I really don't know why I bothered straightening mine this morning! Haha x

I just undo the twist, comb it out and twist it again, I use a hair oil on my scalp as my hair is very dry. It looks fresh for a day then rubbish again so its a constant work in progress. I need a live in hair dresser because I love having my hair tickled. Your hair looks gorgeous do you have to straighten it everyday or does it last a few days? X

Hello, I've checked them out and they're a brilliant idea! You look gorgeous xx

I'd love my own hairdresser to sort me out every morning (Ooops that sounds a bit wrong! Lol). My hair is naturally wavy on top and curly underneath, but very very frizzy too. I straighten it as soon as I've dried it after it's washed, then it really all depends on how I sleep on it to be honest, some mornings I get up and don't need to do anything to it apart from brush it, but other days... Well... I have to wet certain bits, blow dry it, then straighten it again, it's a nightmare! The wind and damp air when I'm out walking is the worst thing, it's a right mess again at the mo! Grrr! Amd it's not quite long enough just to tie it all back x

Hair band?
If I've been to the gym my hair looks like a wet mop then it looks like a dried out sponge sometimes then I get a hair band to hide the front and stick it in a bun.
