Covered 4.1km in 33min, really pleased with that. Just need to push myself a little bit more. Hoping to do 30min/4.2km next time.

Knock knock anyone mind if I join in?

I started yesterday, well I thought I was fitter than I found I was halfway through :eek:... so glad I didn't start at week two like I did wonder about....

Looking forward to running again tomorrow, even though yesterday just past halfway through I hated every second of it until the last but one running section then found I loved it, then lookingback at the field as I left was surprised how much ground I had actually covered in those 25 mins....

It's great to read the stories here for motivation:)
 
You'll be surprised how quick your fitness improves. On 1st feb i could barely do day 1 week 1 without dying. A month on and I can run 3.5 miles without a break. Its a great plan!
 
Thats great going 3.5 in a month, I'm wondering how I'm going to do 5k in 9 weeks:character00264:

I was (and am!) exactly the same ha ha! Well done for starting though and keep at it, best advice I can give :)

Week 7 Run 1 done tonight but I had a few walks..probably 2 mins in total as my calf muscles were really aching, as a result of bootcamp session last night. Back there tomorrow night so didn't want to overdo it!

Next time I'm going to do the 'runkeeper' app at the same time as Get Running, so I can see how far I'm actually covering.

Good plan. I use 'Endomondo' on my phone to track distances. X
 
Day 2 of week 8 completed. Went running at 6.45am today, love it. I think I will do most of my running in the morning, it's quiet and more relaxing.

Hi :) can I join. Started back into this yesterday. Has signed up to the local fun run in June which is 8.5 miles. Not sure I'll be able to run it all but want to give it my best. Decided to use this for training as it has measure able progress :) started from week 4 as I feel this is right for me although may do it for more than a week depending on how i am at the end of the week. Running alongside the 30ds too. Hoping to drop a dress size for may :) x

Ran all the way! :)
55 mins for the 8k and did the first 5k in just over 32 mins. Another minute off my best time! X
