Countdown to August Wedding!!!

1lb on for me this wk. Quite pleased with that seeing as i was so bad for days last wkend. New day, new wk and all that!
That does mean ive finished the 2 wk Easter break the same weight as i started. Given that in the past i could have gained loads in that time, thats something to celebrate!


Its Indian take out for us tonight, going to do EE and keep other meals smallish so can have chicken rogan josh with lots of boiled rice. Also going to weigh it out for the first time ever... Have a sneaking suspicion our portions are at least double those suggested in the book! Eek!

So today... Extra Easy

HEA: Milk in Tea

Bk: muller light and a banana

Lunch: Mugshot, plum and tangerines

Tea: Boiled rice with Chicken Rogan Josh (intend to weigh out 360g then freeze whats left over for another time - thats the plan anyway!!!) 6.5syns

2 of those syn free/ calorie free beer things - they werent too bad actually. You have to think of them as beer flavoured diet coke!!!

Not having a curry now, SW friendly syn free Chilli and rice now meaning i can use my syns on chocolate. Yay!
 
Ah, so last night didnt really go to plan! Had 2 Freddo for 10 syns but also had 2 smallish glasses me wine - doh! 13 syns

So im on the back foot for the rest me the wk. Going to try more speed foods and limit my syns to 10 for the rest of the wk.

So today - out for the day and curry tea!

Bk: raspberries and Muller light

Lunch: more berries, sushi pack 2syns

Tea: boiled rice and chicken rogan josh 6.5syns
 
Not posted for a few days - not been an easy week to be honest. I attended a funeral on Monday, very upsetting as it was that of a little girl I taught. Thought I was ok about it but I wasnt and have been really struggling emotionally. I will be honest that I reverted to comfort eating! Big time! Ive realised that this hasnt taken the pain away, its still there and i just feel rubbish about myself to boot!!!

Ive gained 2lb this week:(; thats 3lb on in the last 2 weeks :mad: (since I heard the bad news) so Ive had a long hard talking to myself and have reminded myself just how disappointed I will be if I let all this hard work go and would never forgive myself if I felt fat on my wedding day and hated the pictures!

So its back to basics as of today... I am determined to get this 3lb off, hopefully this week - definately in 2 weeks. I am challenging myself to get down to my target of 10st 7lb by my birthday at the start of June! I owe it to me!

Back to basics Diary Day One...

Extra Easy:

Milk in tea: HEA

Bk: 30g Oats HEB with blueberries SS

Snack: melon SS

Lunch: Tomato mug shot with chargrilled (frozen) veg (S) stirred in; grapes and Kiwi

Snack sliced ham
Tea: Chicken and veg curry - with passatta, onion, pepper, chilli, carrot (S) 1 tsp oil (2 syns) couscous.
Muller Greek yogurt 0.5 syns

Loads of water!!!!!!!

Hi nice food plan do you find ee the best way for you as I see a lot of ppl go from ee to green and red days throughout the week. So sorry to hear about one of your previous students that must of been so hard, Im a trainee teacher and get upset when children cry in class so I cant imagine what you must of been going through. Least youve come back to writing this which shows determination. Good luck we are all here for each other. x
 
Thanbk you sugarfairy xx Its really hard as her classmates are still here so we are having to be very brave for them! More reason for me to be fit and well and not grouchy and emotional!

Aww yeah I bet it is hard but least you are putting the children first, are you a primary teacher? Yeah its going ok, had a few knock backs but I am getting there. Thanks x

Keep at it hun, its hard training and your NQT year will be tough but you will get through it! X
 
I wont believe the press I suppose however long youve been doing it you have good and bad days. How are wedding plans coming along, sorry if im taking your food diary off topic lol x

Dont know what to do for tea - May have atraul through the boards for inspiration. Weve already had a pasta, rice and couscous dish this week - think it needs to be something with SW chips!!
 
Just searched through recipes and Im doing the EE fish pie - think it will be nice and warming on this cold miderable day!! Think will be a pub tea tomorrow so Im going to go for the Gammon then; youve given me a taste for it!!
 
Using my syns on chicken in blackbean sauce, draining off most of the sauce for 6.5 syns with boiled rice.

Resisting all other deep fried rubbish my OH is eating!
