Daily chat...

ooooh it's tomorrow... dare we ask how many candles Anja?

Oh sorry - I said in the diary somewhere: 41 - aaarrgh :candle1: ;)

aww a baby still

indeed... a child... ;)

Thanks very kind, that's not exactly how it feels though :)

Love your title!!

I'm just a few months behind you, Anja. 1970 was definitely the best year;).

Hope you have a lovely day tomorrow and that your cake tastes as good as it (no doubt) looks. We have daughter's birthday party this afternoon after school (5 weeks late) so have been baking too. Hope the illness is over soon too.

Ooh happy birthday Anja!

Thanks everyone!

Yes having a good day even though 'stuck' in a meeting for 2 hours just now. It was an okay meeting though and didn't realise how long it took till we finished.
The person I was meeting with didn't recognize me! Now he's a colleague I only see in person once or twice a year but even so he inadvertently paid me the ultimate compliment!

Food wise I have been good up to now, Dukan (conso) safe food all the way until tonight when I have got a nice quiche (with rice & cauli) and then we'll eat some of the cake I made. I'll post a pic later, it's very colourful courtesy of DD1...
Now DD2 is still off sick (at home with DH today) and can be grumpy (with fever, headache) at times if not dosed up with ibuprofen so we'll see about having a family meal or an adults-only meal later...

How fabulous to not be recognised! (That could come in useful, I'm sure, in the future!!)

Will be lovely to see your birthday cake, and be sure to have a wonderful rest of day :D

Morning guys, I see chat hasnt been used again...lol.
Well they done it, The stupid hospital changed mums dates, So not happy! So rather than change my flights etc I will be taking Karlia up to mums with me on the 2nd March to have some nana time. Who knows maybe they would change the dates AGAIN so really I cannot book again and at $400 couldnt do it every month! Stupid dr's!! Now its 14th March the day before her birthday, Poor mammie :(

Hows everyone else going?? We have had mad weather here again, So hot and today cold :) Have to say I prefer the cold.
Is everyone behaving Dukan like :)
Hope you all have a great day/night xxxxxxxx

Oh Vickki - how stressful for you all.
(March 15th was my Mum's birthday...)

Behaving Dukanlike - oh absolutely. Euphoric, windy and not sleeping a lot! Par for the (Dukan?) course? or just stressed at work!!

We've chilly mornings and quite mild rest of days, for February at least, in North of France... colder to the East where I was at the weekend, which is nicer if you get a blue sky to go with it to replace this nasty grey one!

How's your Dukan journey going? Back on?

Hi Jo, Morning Dukaners :)
Yes back on but have to say as I have became comfortable im probably 98% dukan, I hate the comfortable stage when you lose the 2% and wonder a bit (maybe this is a me thing??), but I always do it but this time I will be keeping it off :)
Yeap op is a pain in the bum but what can you do? They are like god and get to choose peoples fate Dumb drs!
Did you guys hear about the earthquake in NZ yesterday? So sad. My niece used to live there but got transferred back to Auckland after the quake last year but she was there as she had to fly down to work for a couple of days, How spooky and thank god shes fine, Just cant get home yet. Poor families :( What is going on in the world these days?

Well wishing everyone a great day, I have Karlia home today as its swimming carnival and no teachers will be there, Keanas going to the carnivale yippeee so only one home!! Might take her shopping.

OMG guys just had to share this with you...... Lets you know how *blonde* my friend is, but I still love her!!
She started dukan and informs me how great the yogie is with the oatbran but it made her tummy play up, Im like really yogie and 1 1/2sp of oatbran to which she pipes up with, Um HOW MUCH???? 1 1/2 I tell her, Like she had read in the Duakan book.
She goes on to inform me she had been using 1 CUP of Oatbran  ....LOL, OMG no wonder her tummy felt so bad...heheeeee, Shes back on track now.
THEN she goes on to tell me the dog has been eating her egg yellows....... Um WHY I ask, To which she pipes up with, Dah because we are not allowed the yellow part of the egg....... LOL you have to love her!! :p

She goes on to inform me she had been using 1 CUP of Oatbran  ....LOL, OMG no wonder her tummy felt so bad...heheeeee,

Sorry to hear about all of the messing up of your mum's op dates. Hope it all works out okay and goes well. Must be a nightmare for you.

The oatbran incident - oh dear. How on earth did she manage to eat so much at once! No wonder she wasn't feeling well! ;-)
