Daily chat...

I was a little podgy and so I started dieting (at my request) at about 12... and quickly learned to eat secretly when hungry...

I think I go into ketosis pretty easily and, although I don't test with sticks, by end of day 2, I'm not hungry any more and don't have cravings or pulsions to overeat... perhaps that isn't "ketosis", strictly speaking, but when not in [it], I think about food and eating constantly!

Remember I've dieted all year, with a few days "off", yet haven't got down to my START Dukan weight yet this year!! A bad weigh in can "set me off", so I prefer not to weigh in... My clothes tell all I need to know... I'm wearing the 16s from Asda previously rejected as being humungous... yep, they are...
 
are the trousers tight around your waist? if so a couple of days PP and plenty of water will rid.
when you say your start Dukan weight - what do you mean? sorry i get confused easily in this heat lol
 
ello girls ,ive been to a funeral today ,nice to have u back jo u have been missed hence i messed up my muffin mix i only wanted to make enough for 2 days ,cheryl im not back to work until end of august !!

Vicky - I have bloated everywhere. My thighs are monumental! When I said my "start Dukan weight", I meant that I first started low carbing at 71.1K in November 2007... and had only JUST got to that weight when I left for holiday last week!

So, basically, since low carbing, the end result is up and up and up... because I guess the binges I'd have when healthy eating didn't have such dramatic effect on my weight as I was eating more carbs anyway on a daily basis with my unlimited fruit and veg...

But I know it's more to do with my behaviour than anything... so for now, I'll just knuckle back down, and try to unbloat without necessarily documenting the increase/decrease...

Nearly home time... I feel very hung over still... (no alcohol except on 14th July evening)
 
hi vicks ,no it was my partners uncle ,i weighed myself this morning and im 11st 1lb ,so thats a 2lb gain and i hardly ate anything really !!
 
Im sure you are right about the wheatbran Jo.

OMG 14th July alcohol and still hungover??? you will have to come out on a night out with me lol.

Jo that bloat will go down in a couple of days - look how bad carbs are for your body if they do that in a couple of days???

Morning Jet. I couldnt keep my eyes open last night but the Oliver woke me at 6.20 this morning. He fell out of bed while looking for a toy car!!!

Yes re oatbran! Take it everywhere (it's a fat buster!!)...! You can always spoon it into a fat free natural yoghurt at breakfast!

I'm up before 6am every day! Even on holiday!
 
im off to newcastle for 2 weeks next week and im taking my oat and weet with me!! also my sweetners , some beef steaks, formage fraise, cottage cheese and possibly some chicken tikka...

I KNOW i wont get a chance to prepare anything there so im being sad and making my own food for the 1st few days and taking it with me!!

LOVING dukan bread.. but also concerned with 2 tbls of oat instead of 1.5 and 1 tbls of weet instead on 0.5... my "bread" doesnt rise much... do u think it needs more baking powder?
