Tuesday

Breakfast- 3x ryvitta and dairylea (part hea/heb) tomato and marmite

Lunch- three bean chilli.

Frozen jelly 0.5 syns and an activia, alpen light (watching girl with a dragon tattoo and enjoying no cbeebies for a change!)

Dinner- potato bake (0.5 syn) and quorn peppered steak.


Special K biscuit moment ( 5 syns) and bowl of bran flakes (heb/rest of hea)

Have the house to myself for a change so if I can settle myself to sit still long enough I might have a movie afternoon wth a few low syn snacks. Think the graves is finally starting to level out as I have plenty of energy at the minute and have been doing lots in the house and garden. Might as well make the most of it when I can!

I should probably explain the mini challenge under my signature....

I used to do quite a bit more exercise than I do now. I haven't really had the strength or energy of late because of the graves but as I'm feeling a bit better at the minute I thought I'd give myself a bit of a challenge to get me back in the way of it again.

So I'm hoping to do 100k on the cross trainer by the end of July- not a massive amount but at least I will have something to aim for and if I manage more, even better. Only started on Saturday and managed it twoice so far- too warm the other days and I've been outside, walks etc. so at least I am doing a bit of exercise!

I'm hoping it will become more of a habit as it used to be.
 
Wednesday

Breakfast 2x wm bread for toas0t (heb), 1 dairylea triangle and some lf spread and scrape of jam (2.5 syns)

Apple, alpen light bar (part heb), strawberries.

Lunch- salad and a small bit of bruschetta (10 syns to be safe)

slice of toast

Dinner- quorn sausages (free), pasta n sauce- quick and easy. Should have had some superfree but couldn't be bothered! G&T 2.5 syns.

Thursday

I have been out most of the past couple of days with the kids. Took them to Botanic gardens and Ulster museum yesterday so lots of walking. Big mistake though they were mental and the blood pressure was sky high lol. Would have been more at home at the zoo I think!

Out walking all this morning too at a wee marina nearby. Kids had lunch there but I resisted the gorgeous looking fruit and nut brownies and stuck with a diet coke.

Breakfast- 2 slices w toast (heb), bit of spread and jam (2.5 syns)

Lunch- noodles and stir fry veg followed by strawberries and cherries covered in vanilla activia.

Coffee light frappucino at starbucks- 4 syns but going to count as part my hea as have only had 1 cuppa today! Part of choc coin 4 syns.

Dinner- quorn Bolognese and spaghetti, little bit of cheese on top (part hea).

Scan bran x4- 1 dairylea triangle on 2 (part hea), nutella (4 syns) on 2.


Going to have scan bran as my other heb; the local Holland and Barrett finally got them back in again. Not sure what to have for dinner. I have fresh quorn mince to use up so if I can drag myself off the couch might make a veg packed Bolognese.

Hit the cross trainer for 20 mins when we got home before I would get the chance to chicken out.

Breakfast- magic porridge and strawberries (heb)

Lunch- veggie curry/veggie and lentil chilli and boiled rice, diet coke.

Peach

2x scan bran, 1x dairylea, scallions.

Dinner- mushroom and onion pie (2.5 syns), lf quorn sausages, veg.

Will have the rest of my scan bran and dairylea (hex) and maybe another g&t, really refreshing in this weather with lots of tonic (low cal of course) and ice! 4 x mikado 2 syns

Saturday

Day before weigh in and i have a bbq to go to this afternoon! Cant imagine it will be too sw friendly either and i have specifically been td not to bring anything which is lovely but means i cant sneak in some sw food lol.

Breakfast- activia ff yogurt, melon, cherries and strawberries.

Lunch will be bbq so i imagine a few quorn sausages and burgers.

Dinner will depend on how the bbq goes!

Going to maybe try and make up some gazpacho at some stage as well for a change. And going to nip up now and squeeze in 20 mins on xt before i find an excuse not to!

Well the bbq wasn't too bad in the end. I had all my syns and hex at my disposal anyway.

Had some veg and halloumi skewers ( 2x hea) with mushrooms and onion, olives x6 0.5 syns, bit of pasta salad, some crisps 7ish syns, bit of coleslaw 3 syns?? Lots of watermelon, strawberries and blueberries for dessert. I was driving so I stuck to the tonic water, just thinking was it low cal but I hope it was!


Made a scan bran cake- will post recipe- and it was lovely; had it with quark and pretty much ate all of it for my tea! Had a bit of cheddar as well for my other heb.

San bran cake last night and it was actually pretty lovely! It is only the second I've made and was infinitely better than the last; made this one in the microwave which was a first for me but it was quick and came out lovely and moist.

Scan Bran Ginger and Choc Cake-2 syns (or 7 if not using scan bran as heb)


5x scan bran
2 eggs
1 activia vanilla yogurt
Vanilla Essence
Sweetener to taste
Options Ginger Jazz hot choc sachet
Small piece of root ginger finely grated

Soak the scan bran in a little hot water until soft and mash. Mix the yogurt, sweetener, options, fresh ginger, and vanilla essence in another bowl. Mix in the two eggs.
Combine mixture and scan bran in a microwaveable bowl and cook for around 7 minutes, depending on your micro- check regularly after 4m 30secs.
I served this with quark mixed with sweetener and some fresh ginger finely grated and it was lush!
 
Sunday weigh in day. Prob flexi syn today as its my last day of my holidays so i need something to cheer me up!

Breakfast- beans on toast lf spread 1 syn and heb.

Lunch- jacket potato sweetcorn and cheese (half hea) with el mayo 0.5 syns, tomato onion and red pepper salad and beetroot.

Plain rich tea finger 1 syn

Dinner- mushy pea curry and sw chips.

M&s count on us choc dessert 8.5 syns, actimel 0%1.5 syns, corn snacks 3 syns, 2 ryvitta sweet onion and dairylea (hea/b).

Back to work today after a lovely almost 2 weeks off. Not very happy about it lol.

At hospital this morning for an apt so had a wee scone while i was waiting lol. Would say 10 syns for it. Have to be good the rest of the day now!

I have been really struggling this week to stay on track, quite stressed for some reason and sore as well. Anyway I have managed so far but I think tonight will be a bit of a blip as I really want chocolate!

Breakfast- 2 slices toast (heb), spread, jam 4 syns

Lunch- leftover lentil lasagne and salad

strawberries and activia 0% yogurt

Dinner at mum's- cheese pasty (scraped most of the pastry off, no idea of syns), potatoes, salad, couscous bite 1 syn?

Heb chewy bar and a choc eclair 7.5 syns

Managed 20 mins on xt tonight as well which was a bit of an achievement as stomach is pretty sore!

Food for today will be similar to yesterday and monday as im back at work but hopefully without quite as many syns!

Lunch veggie ravioli sugar snap peas and an apple

Kiwi (and everyone else was eating muffins

Skinny macchiato 1 syn and choc coin 5 syns

Dinner suasage bap (heb part hea for cheese and 1 syn for bit of sauce). Salad 1 syn for dressing and bowl of bran flakes with strawberries (heb)

Had a lovely day today catching up with friends for brunch and then a family bbq in the afternoon. Not so good for the diet though esp as weigh in is tomorrow! So today has not really been on plan but nevermind.

Breakfast- coffee and 2 slices wm bread with butter and jam ( 5 syns)

Banana

Late Lunch- quorn sf burger, veggie burger, veg kebabs, lots of salad, some wedges. Strawberries, few profiteroles, choc cake....
 
Well today was weigh in day and despite showing a 2.5lb loss yesterday, today it was a STS. Not bad I suppose considering yesterday!

Lunch- pasta n sauce and veg. Half a kit kat 3 syns. Coffee.

Dinner- sausages 2 syns, beans, mash and cheese.

Bowl of cereal and chewy bar to use up my heb.
