Daiquiria's Diary- Green Days

Thursday 4th July- back on plan :D

Breakfast- sw rice pudding with activia 0% blueberry yogurt and lots of cherries.

Lunch- ff supernoodles, onions peppers mushrooms and quorn pieces

Might make scan bran pizzas and salad for dinner it depends on how I feel later.

Trying to do the scan bran challenge (5x5) to boost my losses so will see how that goes. I actually love scan bran, ryvitta etc. so it should be fine. And I will try the ferrero rocher at some point too as they sound yum!

Update- evening

Baking in the afternoon with the kids and made the scan bran ferrero rocher. Tasted as nice as i remembered but mixture was a little bit too wet. 2 choc buttons 1 syn.

Coffee and choc coin out shopping 5 syns but didnt even get to eat it all!
had scan bran nachos 5x sc heb, 5x tblp of salsa 2.5 syns, hea of cheese, jalapenos. Very tasty. Had this with bean salad 1.5 syns and cherry toms.

Scan bran ferrero rocher about 6 syns worth and most of my heb.

Well yesterday wasnt quite 100% (i blame the scan bran rocher!) But a big improvement on previous days! Will do my best to make today 100% on plan.

Breakfast- 3 ryvitta, toms and dairylea. Actimel 1.5 syns.

Lunch- couscous and veg.

Coffee and custard cream 2 syns??

Toom the kids to Mc Donalds and couldn't resist a caramel sundae! I scooped out most of the ice cream- let's face it all I wanted was the caramel!- so hoping that's took it down from 17.5 syns to maybe 13-14??

Dinner- pasta n sauce, veg. 4 x Scan bran pizza's (hea and heb- counted some cheese as heb tweak lol).

Strawberries, grapes, yogurts to snack on.

Saturday-

Had a quick weigh in this morning showing a 1lb gain which would be a great result given the past week! Official weigh in Sunday though so doesn't count.

Breakfast- 2 ryvitta fruit crunch (heb), quark and strawberries. Grapes, a pear.

Lunch- curry rice, veg and quorn pieces.

Dinner- 2x mf burgers (2 syns), wm roll (heb), cheese slice (hea), onions, sw wedges, red sauce (1 syn).

A glass of home ginger beer, don't know how many syns. 2 big glasses red wine (14 syns), special k crackers (3 syns), pkt corn snacks ( 3 syns), forgot I had both my hebs and had a special k chewy bar lol ( 5 syns), thought sod it and had a curly wurly too (6 syns)!
Oh dear, why do I do it! Wouldn't have minded so much but I have been like this all week. Ah well, start afresh again Sunday.

I know I never learn! I can be good for a while and then I just think sod it, let's have a drink and all resolve goes out the window!

San bran nachos are similar to scan bran pizzas but I just topped them with salsa fom a jar (1/2 syn per tblsp), my hea of cheese and jalapenos and grilled them. Very tasty. I love proper nachoes but they are a bit fiddly so these are great as you can pick up one big one at a time. You could sub the scan bran for ryvitta or similar. Be lovely with a low syn beer.
 
Sunday

2lbs on at weigh in but not as bad I was expecing to be honest!

No breakfast today.

Had a pear and grapes watching the GP. Actimel 1.5 syns

Lunch- I sashed a glass into my first lunch by accident and was raging as I was just ready to tuck in! In the end I had 'fried' courgettes, cherry toms, garlic, chilli and linguini; this was lovely!

Dinner- mash, quorn peppered steak, carrots and peas, quark sauce- onions, tsp pesto 3 syns and quark.


2 slices of wm bread, marmite, dairylea. Bowl of bran flakes and rest of hea of milk.

Monday

Nice to have a day at 100% under my belt for yesterday! Makes a change recently.

Breakfast-made sw rice pud last night and topping it with yogurt and stawberries.

Lunch- ryvitta pizzas (hea cheese, heb) and a bit of veg on top.

Grapes, banana, apple orange and yogurts to snack on.
 
Well i managed to forget my oh so carefully prepared lunch so i ended up with cous cous 2.5 syns and salad and lots of blueberries so that wasnt too bad.

Dinner had this quite late as the heat is really getting to ds2 and he would not sleep! Ended up having a heb of wm bread baked beans and hea of cheese 1.5 syns for spread and a dark choc kitkat for 5 syns.

Weather is gorgeous it is so typical i got stuck in work late tonight. Ah well, a nice long weekend to look forward to!

Breakfast 2 ryvitta (part heb) dairylea light (part hea) 2 apples.

Lunch sf noodles peppers and courgettes. Handful of blueberries.

Latte 2 syns

Couple of pieces of veg ravioli stolen from the kids!

2x scan bran quark jam 1.5 syns

Iced Skinny caramel macchiato with sf syrup 1 syn for drizzle on top and hea

Dinner jacket potato quorn fillet jalpenos sweetcorn el mayo 1 syn scallions half a tub of m&s cauliflower and quinoa salad 3 syns? 2 mini wm rolls heb

Today has been madness in work etc. although when I finally got home had a lovely evening with the family, relaxing in the garden.

Breakfast- grapes, blueberries, activia 0%, alpen light bar (heb)

Banana, stawberries

Lunch- couscous salad- peppers, courgette, cherry toms, jalapenos, sweetcorn, quorn fillet, ff vinagrette.

Stawberries, apple.

half a pasta n sauce

Supper- 4x scan bran (heb), cheese (hea) salsa (2 syns), 2x g&t's (5 syns), corn snacks (3 syns), mikado x6 (3 syns).

We're having a family b-bq tonight and all bringing something so I have been making a few low syn/free things to take with me. My mum is trying to get my dad interested in sw (2 of my brothers and I do it) so this will give him a little taster and mean I have plenty to snack on too!

I made: burgers (non-veggie), spicy meatballs for skewers, pasta salad, potato salad, 1/2 veggie burgers for me, quorn sausage, vegetable skewers, veg and quorn meatball skewers. I also got DH to get some of thos m&s mini wm subs so I can have a few of those rather than blow all my syns/heb on one bap.

If only alcohol was syn free too lol.

But I have made sw iced tea so looking forward to that, really refreshing.
 
Thursday

Having a fat day today. Weighed myself this morning and scales are showing a 2lb gain from sunday????

Breakfast- melon slices, slice of wm bread and spread (1 syn, half heb)

scone and jam (10 syns?)

Lunch- frozen grapes, couscous salad.

Dinner- will be a b-b-q as above.
 
Well despite the best of intentions last night i had a small bottle of beer and some of dh homemade elderflower champagne. But i guess it could have been worse will count yesterday as a flexi day and move on. Doing that alot lately lol! Bank holiday here today so chilling out in the garden with the kids (well one of them dh and ds1 still asleep!). I dont think we'll head too far today maybe the park or something for a picnic.

Going to put a plan down i am really determined to get this weight off and stop messing about!
 
Friday 12th july

Breakfast coffee fruit salad and yogurt ( free) 2x ryvitta and a dairylea triangle (part hea/b).

m& viennese finger biscuit 4.5 syns!!!!

Lunch- sw potato salad 1syn, pasta salad, green salad, 2x mini wm rolls (heb).

Dinner- veg and lentil curry, tesco sagg aloo and bombay potatoes (apparently free according to some posts I read? but will count as 2 syns anyway), boiled rice

Still have hea/b left

Syns- thinking of sf jelly 0.5 syns, mikado and strawberry skewers 0.5 syn each, maybe pkt of space raiders, g&t? Not sure what I am in the mood for.

Updated: passed on the tesco meals so dinner was all free. Had a chewy bar (heb), sf jelly (0.5 syn) and an activia yogurt

Breakfast- 'magic porridge' 28g porridge (heb) mixed with activia left overnight- served with strawberries and cherries.

Half a banana

Lunch- 'fried' rice and leftover veg curry

Dinner- sw smash pizza with salad (hea for cheese) and sweet potato chips. Yum!

Trying to decide what to make for dinner and it will prob be either a poato bake or pasta and quorn peppered steak with roast veg.
Went for a walk in the afternoon havent got near the cross trainer today far rather be outside!

All your meals this week sound great especially the barbecue,, my mouth was watering just reading about it
The weather is great isent it, hope you had a lovely weekend, I spent yesterday in the garden and hope to get more time outside today too

Monday

Bank holiday here and ehad friends round for lunch.

Made mexican- big pot of free bean chilli and I was planning sw enchiladas and nachos for me but my dh made them as normal and there was no sense making a fuss. So I also had cheesecake and crisps. Oops. Never mind, back to it!
