Agh.. I'm having a good day today. My CDC thinks I'm in ketosis. Hope I am and it's not a fluke, busy day at work tomorrow! Gulp. Dont want another day 2 nightmare. Maybe it's different for everyone? I might try one of those keytosticks tomorrow. If it has two blue lines.. Wahhh!!

Lucky you if your in Ketosis, I think my cold could be masking the symptoms. But I'm still feeling hunger so I don't think it's started! Today's been hard for me because I've been at home with not enough distractions for my liking! Just having my last shake before bed! Good luck with getting through tomorrow!
 
Thanks.. you too. It must be difficult doing this with a cold. Just been chatting to someone who's lost 7lb already on day 4!!

Hope we're that successful, trying not to get on scales though! Weigh in wednesday. Will up my water next couple of days. I'm prob just about hitting 2.5litres but could do more - I've never been to the toilet so much ever!!!

Glad you've said that.. my bladder always seems full! I'm off to the loo all the time. I'm at work tomorrow, they'll think I'm up to something sneaking off all the time! haha. (I'm not telling them)
 
I'm not weighing myself as A: I don't have any scales B: I don't want a rollercoaster of emotions seeing whats my fluctuating daily weight is. It's hard enough as it is. That's how I feel at the moment anyway.

Probably best like you say if it fluctuates it will throw us right off!
 
Beginning of day 4. Up early for a 5am start at work! Feel slightly insane and hungry. My colleague is eating cheese and onion crisps! I'm standing as far away as possible. Will have a tea and my first pack soon! No sign of this ketosis but feel but slimmer!
 
Had my apple and cinnamon porridge and a cuppa - Sorted!!! Was feeling quite Ill. A bit Acidy - is that normal on this plan?

I personally think that porridge is enough to give anyone acid. It's vile. I'm swapping my spare ones for soups and shakes.

I think your right. The apple/cinnamon is passable with a load of extra cinnamon chucked on top but I'm over the maple pecan! Will have a couple of packs of porridge a week just for when I'm on early shifts and need to pretend in front of my colleagues that everything's normal! Have you tried any soups yet? I'm worried they wouldn't satisfy me as they look like cup a soup!

Will have a couple of packs of porridge a week just for when I'm on early shifts and need to pretend in front of my colleagues that everything's normal! Have you tried any soups yet? I had the chilli one last night...yum! Its quite satisfying. Didn't taste like cup -a-soup or 'diet' food at all.

I've got my weigh in and seeing my consultant Wednesday so will defo try a pack of the soup.
When's your weigh in again?

Water, water,water..It really helps. Seems radical though doesn't it.

I'm off to cinema soon. Just leaving work now. Picking friend up first. Wonder how many times I'll have to go to loo??!!! Better make sure I sit on the end!
 
Day 4. Bit horrendous.
Felt like ive had acid reflux all day! Had a 3 hr training session at work which limited my water intake as I couldn't keep leaving for my every 15 minute toilet trips!
However finally think I'm entering ketosis, breath gone funny! Woohoo!
Hopefully day 5 will be better although I'm at work @ 5am again! Joy of joys!
