Definitely a better day. I have been having some sugar free gum only yesterday because my breath was frightening! But it didn't help with the hunger pangs! My advice would be to chew it for a few mins then get rid! Did you manage to change your weigh in?
 
Hi
I nipped in my my CDC house to exchange porridge for more shakes and asked to be weighed. I've lost 7lbs in 5 days. I'm 14 st now (I looked briefly but I don't have a card like I did at Slimming World) I'll go back for my weigh in next Tuesday so hopefully I'll be in the 13st something range. I asked her about chewing gum..you're right we can have it.
I'm please you're in Ketosis now...how do you feel?

Aah well done you! 7lbs in 5 days is excellent!!!
It feels much more bearable now the ketosis has set in. Im kind of eating because I know I have to not because im starving and once I've had my pack or meal I forget all about food again. I get the odd hunger pain but they come and go swiftly! - which is useful!! Weigh in tomorrow morning! Wish me luck!!!
 
End of day 6!
Today has been brill. Really pleased with my 1st weigh in result!
Didn't struggle with hunger which is good.
Had a dream last night about Sensations crisps so decided to make the crisps from the chicken and mushroom soup! -LUSH!!! Taste all salty and naughty!!!

Wow.. Well done! That's amazing!! You'll have to treat yourself, nail varnish or lush bubble bar.

I treated myself with a lovely exfoliation scrub and glove.
Feels weird not celebrating my weigh in result with a food based treat!

Morning
I really missed food yesterday which was disappointing. Mind you it was my day if with my children and food was everywhere. My little ones had a picnic in the garden, tiger bread, strawberries etc.. Ahhh. Later I really fancied a BBQ. We all prob did. Ho hum. But, I bought a long straight black maxi dress from town size 16 and it looked sort of ok but my arms, bum, tum are vile etc. That was motivation enough!
I'm working with a social worker today doing home visits so I'll have to limit my water intake until I come home. I can't be weeing in folks house every 15 mins!

It must be hard being around and preparing food for the family. Until I'm completely strong I'm dodging visiting my mum because I know there's so much naughty 'banned' stuff there!
I must admit though the the good weather is proving to be a motivator for me. I normally go to work hidden under a jumper but I won't be able to do that anymore !!!

I've just spent an hour measuring my body parts on an app called Bodyshot. It a cool app.. it reminds me to take a pic every week so I can compare my fat ( before) and after (thin) pic. Blimey.. I sound like an advertisement!! Hopefully it will encourage me to continue on the difficult days.
 
Day 8!
Feel less hungry as every day goes by and feel fuller from my packs and meal than at the beginning.
Went to sainsburys today and found it to be a complete mental challenge not to pick up a load of crap off the shelves! Managed to dodge all the tempting goodies by reminding myself this is only temporary - but something that cannot be stopped and started!
 
Day 9 - a testing day!
Had a long day today. With gym in the morning then straight to work for a 9hr shift till 11pm!
Started the day with original porridge with grated nutmeg! Tasted ok. Had a choc shake mixed at work on the hop in my mini shaker! - was not good. I'm used to blending with ice now!
Prawns and pak Choi for dinner. Spent all day at work thinking about and wanting a sweetie or a biscuit - didn't cave though!
Came home where my lodger (who is moving out soon - thank the lord) proceeded to wind me up to the point I could have quite happily drop kicked her! Instead I turned my last pack for the day into a choc cookie to cheer myself up!
It was successful day as I didn't let anything get in the way of my journey!

Thank you! Trying. The sun coming out has helped. There's nothing worse than feeling like a fat munter when the sun is shining!

I've been getting all the recipes for the packs from here. Its a risky strategy as my first attempt at a muffin was barley edible! Plus they say if your only SS and heat the packs in the microwave they lose nutrients. But I'm on step 2 plus if making a pack into a biscuit keeps me on the straight and narrow I'll take the risk!!!
