Daz FINALLY has a food diary

Cos your too busy concentrating on the booklet :D

Not got there yet. I have the laptop on the dining table and i tend to try to make a point of switching off and sitting in a comfy chair for a few hours a day, before my eyes become the shape of the laptop screen, and ive still not moved towards the chair.

Haha ive not moved either - I really shud move this fat a$$ and do something

i was told that i have lost weight on my butt the other day. By my Mother. While sitting in a coffee shop. Scary.

I will need to go for a bit now, have to put the heating on. My hands are numb. (think i am having circulation problems now, on top of everything else. pfffft)

Hi Daz, I hope your feeling better this evening :), glad your new gadget has arrived, look forward to seeing the lovely meals you make with it xx

I know ive lost weight off mine too lol Id still like more off - us women are never happy, Ive had my heating on too. Ive found as ive lost weight I really do feel the cold more boooo

Chips in the gadget as we speak. Technical hitch, the basket wouldn't rotate, but i have given it a delicate twist and seems to be ok now.

As it stands, in theory, at this precise moment in time, i have spent 60 quid for a gadget that saves me from having to shake the frozen chips about half way through cooking. But i have no doubt that i shall get more use out of it than that over the next few weeks. Time will tell if it is just a fad or if i get to use it on a regular basis.

I think i will to be fair. It just means i don't have to use the oven unless im doing bigger meals. My main concern though is the same as with the halogen and the fact that it dried meat out. I have 2 lamb rump steaks in the fridge of which im 2 minds of if to try them in it tomorrow, really will be mortified if it ruins them.

You could try 1 in there and one in the oven? just in case

I think thats wise - I wouldnt want to waste lamb steaks either

No, i nearly fell over when i decided to treat myself with them in the supermarket. The Easter weekend i was out for Sunday dinner and we had a leg of lamb, and I wanted it again as I haven't had it for so long. They are only small, i think about 300 and something grams between the 2.

I know Asda charges £5 for two and theyre not always that big

£4 for 300g, and there is very very little fat on them. I shall enjoy them tomorrow, my last bit of indulgence (not cutting the fat out) before i get back on it proper. Its the beer, thats what does me, once i brew a batch, because its in front of me, i have no will power to leave it alone. The idea is for it to save me having to pay supermarket prices. I do enjoy an ale, i don't go out much, and when i do i cannot get a decent pint where i go, so why not? But to have to brew 40 pints at a time, thats the kicker.

We still have to live and have what we enjoy, but your right its the willpower thing and when to stop. Its a pity they dont do kits with smaller amounts in than 40, though I suppose it would just mean that you drank them quicker and would still have to buy another one. If only life was simple eh

Just sat here giggling away at you two and your conversation.... Free jet plane with the freezer :D

Hehe :D I want some VIP treatment too ! I'd love one of those ;) xx
