WK55/3 D2 (Sat 21st Jan) - Green

Back to normal!! Back on plan !!

Late up as normal LOL ;)

Lunch: Egg mayo sarnie & crisps
2x400g nimble wholemeal (HEB1), egg, 1tbs lf mayo (0.5), tomato, lettuce, S&V quavers (4.5)

Dinner: mixed bean chilli & rice
brown rice, chickpeas, butter, broad , kidney cannellini, pinto beans, marrowfat peas, onion, pepper, tomatoes, ff fromage frais

Supper: hot chocolate & cereal bar
400ml kara coconut milk (HEA1), options (2), hi-fi (HEB2)

Dinner was a doddle, open tins, add contents, add chilli powder, warm in saucepan !!

WK55/3 D3 (Sun 22nd Jan) - red

Oooh, surprise, surprise - late getting up!!! - just love the wekend, unless we have something planned, or it's time critical, we have a couple of cuppa's in bed, a good old chat and a laugh :)

We then had a call from Ken's son, asking if we fancied a beer... suddenly, time was a bit sparse.... out of bed, washed dressed, over to his, dogs for a walk and back in less than 2 hours, to get a call telling us that he'd be half hour late - so we took a walk around the old fort...
I stuck to diet pepsi... then more snooker and dinner, and stayed up to watch the last frames - so another pretty lazy day


Brunch: sausage sandwiches
3x400g nimble wholemeal (HEB1 & 2.5), 3x eatsmart sausages (1.5)

Dinner: chicken & chips with salad
chicken, 100g potatoes (part HEB2), 1/2 tbs evo oil (part HEB2), lettuce, cucumber, tomato, mixed peppers

Snack:
chicken & pear

Supper: hot chocolate
250ml semi-skim milk (HEA1), highlights (2)

WK55/3 D4 (Mon 23rd Jan) - EE

Ended up as an EE day in honour of Chinese New Year
(had planned green, but will have that Tuesday instead!)


Lunch: roast beef & rollmop salad // fruit salad
roast beef, rollmop, mixed leaves, cucumber, tomato, sweetcorn, carrot, apple, grape, banana

Dinner: chicken & mushroom Chinese curry, beef & mushroom egg fried rice, Chinese spiced noodles served with stir-fry veg
chicken, onion,mushroom, 100ml curry sauce (4), beansprouts,water chestnuts,bamboo shoots,mushrooms, mange tout,carrot,baby corn, beef savoury rice, egg, noodles, oxo, mushrooms

Sounds loads, but had less than 1/2 pack rice, only a few noodles, so not too bad - and fantastic for a measly 4 syns!!!

Well, the GM didn't take it, but then he clearly told me in 2007 when he employed me that it was because he needed someone who had the knowledge that he didn't - since then I've trained him and to date, 5 others whom all became my assistants. I really don't know what's happening recently (6months or so) he's changed so much ??
 
Well, just received my exam results and certificate from last week

There were 4 of us who took the course & exams. Pass mark was 70% (max of 51 points)

2 passed at 88%
1 passed at 94%
Me - I got 98% - that'll do for me :)

Well Done - superb results.

As for your food - it all sounds yummy and low syn x
 
WK55/3 D5 (Tue 24th Jan) - Green

Another day in paradise :rolleyes:

Pretty boring day - then off to Asda for fuel & food (so, 2 lots of fuel)
Oh, but I did pick up some little bags of biscuits on special - they had digestives, hobnobs, jaffa cakes, jammy & toffee dodgers, and some of their own make ones for £1 - OK if you can stop at 1 bag I guess :)

Breakfast: Fruit
banana

Lunch: Cheese & onion jacket with salad // fruit salad
jacket potato, 5x laughing cow (HEA1), onion, mixed leaves, cucumber, tomato, sweetcorn, banana, pear

Dinner: leftover mixed bean chilli, rice & salad with raita
beef savoury rice, chickpeas, butter, broad , kidney cannellini, pinto beans, marrowfat peas, onion, pepper, tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, ff fromage frais

Supper: hot chocolate & biscuits
250ml semi-skim milk (HEA2), highlights (2), mini digestives (6)

HEA x2 & HEB x none - ooops

WK55/3 D6 (Wed 25th Jan) - Green

Thankfully, we didn't have the dreaded 'Wednesday Meeting'
Fantastic, but being Wednesday - My favourite day of the week (after the weekend) means it's a Ken & Pub night!!!

I of course stuck to diet pepsi :angel09:so I drove, Ken had a few more than normal, so stopped over.

Didn't have a proper dinner in the evening, but lunch was substantial
didn't even have our usual after pub supper - so didn't eat loads, and didn't have any syns either - fingers crossed :fingerscrossed: for a good result at WI

Breakfast: cereals
weetabix (HEB1), 250ml semi-skim (HEA1)

used the rest of my milk in tea in the day

Lunch: Jacket, beans and salad
jacket potato, baked beans, 5xlaughing cow(HEA2), lettuce, white cabbage, carrot, cucumber, tomato, sweetcorn

Snack: cereal bar
alpen light (part HEB2)

Dinner: carrot & corriander soup
carrot, onion, oxo
