Ooh I love that kind of day!

Are you packed yet??

I'm doing mine tonight :D

oooh, bet you can't wait.....
I need to try on my cossie ( maybe bikini) need to pop out and buy a few bibs & bobs, then I'll probably pack Friday, although, I'm now a bit stuck, my Nan died at the weekend.I'm ok about it - it was pretty much expected, as she was getting on, but I found out last night that the funeral is whilst I'm away, they're gonna try and change it - but I don't know what to do
It's just so difficult, my Mum told me to go away, but I just don't know - really, I'd be going for everyone else, it's not something that I need to do, but ought to do - arghhhh

I'm sorry to hear about your Nan hun x

It's a bit of a dilemma but if you're Mum is cool with it I would say continue with your trip. You can always take a quiet moment to reflect at the same time the funeral is taking place.

I lost Dad last February. My brother was abroad at the time and my cousin never made it back for the funeral from her holiday. She was gutted but tbh life goes on and nobody in the family thought any the worse for her not being there. It's just one of those things.

I can only go from personal experience though Deb, I'm sure your Mum will support whichever decision you make.

xx

Thanks Ali, I'm seeing my Mum tomorrow, so I'll have a proper chat with her then, I think I'm still gonna go away as planned. My brother is also away next week, although in this country, so her eldest 2 grandchildren will be missing - which is also both of us from my Mums side.

Still not tried on my cossies, but have a couple of shorts that fit, and need a couple more vest tops.

Shops, here I come!!

WK16 D7 (Thursday 28APR) - EE

Went to visit my Mum yesterday, Oh how I love being off work!!

Took a :character00201:motorcycle ride over there, a 90 mile round trip via class on the way home.

Mum doesn't know that I'm following SW, as does no one else except the OH, you girls and boys here and my friends at class, so I'm learning the great art of politely declining with a little white lie where necessary....it seems to be working :)

So yesterday I ate a decent, neutral breakfast, and Mum had already mentioned that we were having an M&S soup for lunch, so I looked it up online before I went...sneaky eh?
Actually it was lush, and I'm going to try to make a SW version!!
So I had 2x 1/2 bowls, whilst they had 2 full bowls, and I ignored the bread and homemade cakes!!:happy036:

Breakfast : cooked brekkie
quorn sausages, cherrry tomatoes, mushrooms, 2 egg omlette (part HEA)

Lunch: Soup
Lovely M&S red lentil & spicy tomato 15 syns for a 600g pot, based on the amount, I would estimate I had 7-8 syns worth

Supper: Bacon sarnie
2x400g WW bread (HEB), bacon, mushrooms, 1tsp mustard (0.5) 1bs el mayo (0.5)

:wow:So happy, a 4lb loss and club 10 and SOTW :woohoo: looks like I definatly need to drink alcohol !! :beer8: as when I abstain, it doesn't really help, I will continue to have a drink of a weekend, and none from Monday to Thursday, as it really seems to work.

Must admit, I'm now in holiday mode :character00255: had a 4 pack of beer round a friends, and will be back Sat 7th, will have to get on track when I get home, don't want to undo all the hard work, although I do expect a gain of course, I'll have 5 days when I get back until my next WI :fingerscrossed:

Syns
soup - 8
1 tsp mustard 0.5
1 tbsp el mayo - 0.5
4 cans beer - 15

Weekly total After WI 130

Having just over a week off on holiday in Spain I'm back on track as of today.
Need to have as few syns as possible to try and claw back something before WI Thursday!
Obviously expect a gain, so fingers crossed.
