Debridgers' Food Diary & Ramblings

WK19 D6 (Wed 18May) - Red

Seemed to have more red days than normal this week, but the grub at work seemed a little more inspiring than a jacket potato which is my normal Monday & Wednesday lunch (that's the days they do baked beans too)
Also been eating BNS - I quite like it, so will be buying it again.


Breakfast: Fruit
apple, banana, satsuma and a pear

Lunch: smoked salmon & chicken salad
smoked salmon, chicken, lettuce, cucumber,tomatoes, grated carrot with 2xlaughing cow (part HEA)

Snack: hardboiled egg whilst cooking dinner

Dinner : mince & BNS mash
el minced beef, onion, mushrooms, oxo, butternut squash, asparagus

Supper:
Lemon Hi-Fi (HEB)

WK19 D7 (Thurs 19May) - Green

WI a whole 0.5lb off, strange, as I've had a good week, but iot's off, hopefully it will show next week!!
Went shopping after WI, didn't get in until nearly 10pm, so didn't have a proper dinner :(, had a few beers and whiskies... took me over my weekly syns after WI...OK, I'd saved some, but had a few more too :(
Friday is a another day, and a new week

Breakfast: cooked brekkie
3 quorn sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans, 2 egg omlette

Lunch: hm mushroom soup and fruit
mushroom, onion, oxo, melon

Dinner: cheese on toast
2x400g WW bread(HEB),2xlaughing cow (part HEA), 1 tbs branston (1)

Snack: quavers (4.5)

Ooops, not been on here for a few days....so I'd best get on and update!!!

Thanks Ali, syns were fine before WI 66, so, if I count that I'm allowed 105 per week, 19 extra isn't the end of the world.... but, still gonna be careful for this week :) really want to lose 1.5lb to get back to my pre-holiday weight...... although, I'm off again at the weekend for a week

Still had beer Friday.... but not as much as the previous one, and I've already noticed I've missed a few healthy extras...so gonna make sure I do so properly for the rest of the week!!!

WK20 D1 (Fri 20May) - EE

The OH decided to come over early, so I ended up cooking for him too..... oh and I had a bite of a jam & cream iced finger.... was gonna have it, syn it when I thought it was a jam & cream doughnut...it wasn't, so he had the rest of it!!! saved me really :eek:

Lunch: hm mushroom soup and fruit
mushroom, onion, oxo, melon

snack : 1 bite jam & cream iced finger (max 5 syns - based on a whole one of 15 :eek:)

Dinner : Chilli & rice with salad
el minced beef, onion, oxo, kidney beans, tinned tomatoes, rice, lettuce, cucumber,tomatoes, mixed peppers


Popped down the pub, was good, kept it less than last week, an no whisky when I got in

Had a nice lie-in, went and visited Mum, had coffee and refused cakes and biscuits :).

Prawns, rice noodles, stir fry veg - beansprouts,water chestnuts,bamboo shoots,mange tout,carrot,baby corn, onion, mushroom, rice

Mmmmm, another late morning :D but we did wash the MG...so not all bad, wanted to go out for a walk, but the weather was rather iffy

Lunch: chicken sandwich
2x400g WW bread(HEB), chicken, lettuce, cucumber, lf cottage cheese, cherry toms, celery

Dinner: blue cheese steak and sw chips with salad
steak, potatoes, lettuce, cucumber, cherry toms, celery, mixed peppers, 2x blue cheese deli-light (part HEA)

Supper: picking salad platter
chicken, lettuce, cucumber, cherry toms, celery, 3x laughing cow (remainder HEA)

Dinner: HM Mushroom soup // Chicken in mushroom sauce & rice
mushroom, onion, oxo, chicken, brown rice,lettuce, cucumber,tomatoes, mixed pappers, celery

Supper: hi fi and heavenly hot chocolate
hi-fi (HEB), 350ml semi-skim (HEA), 1 tbs cocoa (1), 4 tbs squirty cream (1), marshmallow (1.5)

WK20 D5 (Tue 24May) - EE

Had a meeting this afternoon, which was planned to be a bit late, and going to the pub was expected by higher management.... so I had diet coke, eventhough in all honesty, I really fancied a beer :devilangel:
I know I made the right choice :checkmark green:

Breakfast: cereals & fruit
2x weetabix (HEB), 350ml semi-skim (HEA), melon, strawberries

Lunch: mixed salad & fruit
Pastrami, rollmops, hard boiled egg, lettuce, cucumber,tomatoes, mixed peppers, melon, strawberries

Got in rather later than normal, so had a quick dinner, in part leftovers, and general fridge ingredients...and really good for even more superfree

Dinner: meat salad & tincy piece of SW quiche hot from the oven to taste
chicken, ham, brown rice, onion, sweetcorn, cherry tomatoes 2 tbs lf salad cream (2) 2tbs vlf mayo (1), lettuce, cucumber, celery, lf c/cheese, egg

running a bit late, OH turned up, he'd not eaten either, so we had a quick snack before going to the pub

Dinner: Omlette sandwich
3 egg omlette, 2x400g hovis (HEB), 42g lowlow cheese (HEA)

Supper: naughty sweetie
2x chocolate crispies (4.5 syns each)

Down the pub, had 4 pints of bitter :beer8:, I've not had bitter in ages, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Good job it was nice, as mid week drinking normally messes up my weight loss, even within syns :confused:

WK20 D7 (Thur 26May) - Green

:happy036::happy036: my worry of putting on or STS was unneccesary = 2.5lb off!! YAY
Well happy about that, I'm now back to before my holiday (altyhough last weeks 0.5 off was rather harsh, so it's caught up), but I've now also lost 1 1/2 stone, and that gave me SOTW too.
It's great to have caught-up, but I'm off again in the early hours, and will be off plan until the 6th June, I'll try and be a bit careful, try to avoid really bad stuff, well limit it anyway.


Breakfast: SW quiche
egg, lf cottage cheese, cherry tomatoes, onion.

Lunch: Egg and beans on toast & melon
egg, baked beans, 2x400g hovis (HEB), 42g lowlow cheese (HEA), melon

Well, what a week or so, had a great trip to the States, lots of food & drink, although I did sort of try to be a bit careful, avoided fried stuff where possible, and also had all my salads without dressing... it's a help, but not perfect.
Weather was fantastic, between 94 & 100 deg F all week, and had a great time with a long weekend sightseeing.
Got back Sunday lunchtime, absolutly knackered, had a fair bit of sleep, fish & chips for dinner (well had been off plan anyway) and started back on the wagon again Monday:

WK22 D4 (Mon 6th June) - Green

Lunch: Cheese sandwich
2x400g hovis (HEB), 42g lowlow cheese (HEA), 1tbs lf salad cream(1.5), cucumber, tomatoes

Dinner: Mushroom Risotto
rice, onion, mushroom, veg oxo, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, beetroot, spring onion

Supper: Cheese & crackers
4 x ryvita (HEB), 3x babybel light(HEA), cucumber, tomatoes, beetroot, pickled onion, gherkin
followed by coconut options (1.5) 4tbs squirty cream (1)

Not ben on here for a few days......... pain being back in the office, but hey ho...... have tried to keep syns low for the rest of the week, done OK too :)

WK22 D6 (Wed 8th June) - EE

Had a biz lunch today, which I couldn't get out of, really poncy place, did my best to fit it into the plan, only to have it slightly spoilt!!!

Lunch:
Starter: Steak Tartare, raw quails yolk, melba toast, very small wholemeal roll (not big enough for a full HEB), small scraping butter - max 1tsp (2)
Main: roasted cod, brown shrimp, capers, asparagus, spinach
So far, so good.......
Shared veg, avoided the chips, had new potatoes in their skins, green beans & spring greens, only to have them swimming in butter...grrrrrrr
had diet coke and sparkling water, and a coffee instead of afters.

Dinner: didn't get around to it

Pub night, back on the bitter instead of lager....might actually be good for me, as I had a good 2.5lb loss before I went away, even having 4 pints on the Wednesday,

So This week, not having dinner, but did have 3.5 pints (35)

WK22 D7 (Thur 9th June) WI

ended up slightly not following the plan (after WI) but still ate well.......

was gonna be a red day, then changed into EE, then muddled my HEBs :( and really had 3 HEB's :mad: oh well

Breakfast: cereals
2x weetabix (HEB), semi-skim (part HEA)

Lunch: beef & poacked smoked salmon salad plus melon medly
roast beef, smoked, poached salmon, lettuce, rocket, green pepper, beetroot, tomato, cucumber, mixed melon pieces

Dinner: sort of cajun, mexican chicken pitta thingy

2x wml pittabread, chicken, cucumber, tomatoes, lf natural yoghurt, quark, lettuce. loads of spices & seasonings

Snack: Bag of quavers (4.5)

WI - really pleased had just a 1lb gain, bearing in mind that I have been off plan completely for 10 days, although carefulish, but still lot's of food and beer

WK23 D1 (Fri 10th June) EE

Bit of a strange day, didn't end up with any dinner, but I did have a very late lunch, and really wasn't hungry, came back from the pub, we were both knackered, and couldn't be bothered to have any supper

Breakfast : Fruit selection

Lunch: HM mushroom soup, ham & egg pots with salad
mushroom, onion, oxo, egg, ham, chicken, potato, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, beetroot, 1tbs lf salad cream (1.5)

What an awful day weather-wise....flipping heck, made me feel like either hibernating or emigrating!!!

Lunch: Fruit salad & 'cream'

mushroom, onion, oxo. Asda lamb shank (1) - all fat cut off, potatoes, 5x laughing cow(HEA), brussels, cauliflower, broccoli, green beans, carrot, swede

Had plenty to eat, wont be having anymore tonight

Oh well, what a day, had an office move, so unpacking, chucking junk, oh and less room :mad:
So, ended up so busy, missed breakfast - but I left it there for tomorrow, and lunch, well, normally around 12:30 was closer to 1:30 - good old Monday canteen faithful!!

Lunch: Jacket potato & beans, with mixed salad and fruit
Jacket potato, baked beans, 2x laughing cow (part HEA), mixed leaves, tomato, cucumber, watercress, carrot, celery, rice, kidney beans, mixed peppers, bulgar wheat, banana, pear, kiwi

Dinner: homemade Mushoom soup followed by rice and curry
mushy peas, baked beans, tomatoes, brown rice, butter beans, petit pois, vlf natural yoghurt, cucumber, wholemeal pitta (HEB)

WK23 D5 (Tue 14th June) - EE

Mmmm, one of those days, got up a bit late :( so ended up missing my 'late' train, but was OK was only 5mins late after stopping off for coffee, and I knew I'd be finishing late as I had to give a presentation in the afternoon, so got home about an hour later than normal..... it's surprising how you get used to being in at a certain time!!
Anyway.... presentation worked out well, and feedback provided gave me a 5 out of 5!! and my part was really relevent..... must be all the practise from my travels!!

Got home to find OH had started to re-stain my windows (after sanding them whilst I was away)....bless him :lilkiss:
Anyway....foodwise was OK - based on lunch at work, was going to do a red day.... but when I looked at my spuds, decided I couldn't be bothered to weigh them, and they were funny sizes for a HEB and couldn't eat 2 HEB of them!

Breakfast: fruit
