*deep breath* my journey to a thinner / healthier me

:wavey: hi everyone, syns are out of the window for today as I've had southern friend chicken (not kfc) with Chris tonight. But the line is being drawn and tomorrow I shall be back on plan 100%

Last night I ordered some diet american sodas, double checked that they were all sugar free etc, so am going to try them and see what they're like. I've also ordered some sugar free kool aid in grape flavour that you mix with 2 litres of water, so am looking forward to seeing what that is like and see if it helps me to get through 2 litres each day.

I've been doing some good forward planning the past few days. I've made a sweet and sour sauce and frozen it, a paella and frozen it and I want to make chilli con carne on monday and freeze it :D

We've finally booked our seats for turkey on the plane. It took absolutely ages because Thomas Cook decided to update their systems. And then when we could finally get on, I'd been put down as a child, so had to get in touch with customer services yesterday morning - which took 2 hours :eek: But I'm glad to say that we now have our seats booked, window seats both times, so I'm determined to take some piccies out of the window once we've taken off and when we come in to land :p

We've ordered some flowers for our mum's for mother's day, but me being the dopey idiot that I am, I only went and selected delivery for next weekend rather than this weekend :sigh:

Breakfast - dragon fruit, orange
Snack - apple
Lunch - grilled cheese and tomato sandwich (hexa and hexb)
Snack - grapes
Dinner - Paella
Snack - crisps (5 syns), mini kit kat (5.5 syns)
Planned syns - 10.5

Isn't it exciting once you start doing things like booking the seats etc for the hols, makes it seem closer...we're starting to get into holiday mode here ...love it.

Are you excited about Turkey? I went when I was 12 and can barely remember any of it... alls I remember is sweating buckets and being asked to be bought for a camel and a chicken by a weird turkish man!!!(true story) :D x

I can't wait for Turkey Linz, it's going to be a much needed break where it isn't cold, or we don't have to share a caravan for the weekend with Chris' parents :8855:
 
I haven't been able to weigh in this morning as we were at mum's for the night and I forgot to bring my scales. It probably wouldn't be much use as I'm expecting a gain as I've been completely off plan this weekend. It's coming up to totm and I'm wanting to eat everything in sight and my will power is completely out of the window :sigh::sigh:

I'm going to spend the week at home so that I can focus on getting back on plan and so that while I'm being a greedy cow there isn't any extra temptation.

I'm also thinking of changing weigh in days to Friday because my appointments always seem to fall on a friday :)

TOTM, omg I don't have anything to have TOTM with but I still get the cravings, back pain and all the carp that goes with it (and when I say I have nothing, I mean nothing lol), doesn't seem possible that I can still have all the gumpf but I do, just grin and bare it and work harder the other 3 weeks is the best we can do.

We've just got home and I weighed myself and I'm looking at at a 3lb gain. I've drunk loads this morning (just over 1.5 litres), so I think that is contributing to it too. But I'm still going on damage limitation this week, which means I'll probably be on here a lot as Chris will be at work and he does works 2 nights a week.

I have to say the kool aid stuff that I got is brilliant. 40 calories for 2 litres of it. Should I count that as 2 syns or syn free because of how low it is per serving?

Food plan for today

Breakfast - 2 slices white toast (took me way over syns)
Lunch - 2 alpen light bars (hexb)
Snack - apple
Dinner - bolognese sauce with cheese on top (hexa)
Snack - orange, apple

Food plan for tomorrow

Breakfast - wholemeal toast (hexb and 2 syns for bread), apple
Snack - orange
Lunch - tomato, cucumber and cheese (hexa)
Dinner - chilli con carne
Snack - muller light, crisps (6 syns)

I jumped on the scales this morning and I was right about having put on. 2.5 lbs to be precise.

So I'm giving myself a good old kick up the backside as I've been putting on and losing the same 3lbs for a good while now and I need to get going again otherwise I can see me getting disheartened by it all and not wanting to carry on.

I'm well into my 2 litres of water for today and have ordered some more sachets (but in different flavours) of drink mix. I wish we had stuff like this in the uk as it cost me roughly £20 for 42 days worth and I'll keep buying them as it's really helping me to up my liquid intake.
 
Oh and forgot to add, my plan for today is to try and get as much washing done as possible, tidy out the spare bedroom, change the bedding in our bedroom, maybe move it around again :D

Hi Emily sounds like u got a good day planned,
I managed to stay on plan yesterday but it was hard , today up to now seems ok but the cravings seem to come in the evenings ,
I feel like you I've been messing wiv the same 3 - 4 lb for weeks even tho staying on plan things seem to be standing still,
I've had my fruit and drunk a litre water so far ,

I'm finding it a lot easier knowing that I'm not going to mum's this week so won't be tempted by the goodies she has there. But I'm going to miss Chris as he works during the day and does 2 nights too :( Though it's going to be worth it as it should hopefully mean when I weigh in on friday that it's all been worth it and I'm back down a little bit
 
Hey sweetie, think we're all in the same rut, been putting on and losing the same weight over and over again, that's why I have decided to ditch all expectations and challenges and just concentrate on getting myself sorted, and if lose 1lb a week I am happy....funnily enough this week has been the 1st weeks since I joined SW that I haven't stuffed my face late at night, even if it is 99% of the time fruit, I just haven't felt hungry.
I've ahd my dinner and about 9pm had a couple of yoghurts and then zilch till breakfast....haven't managed quite as much exercise as I would have liked due to my feet playing up again, but think I may have solved that problem too :fingerscrossed:
So lighten up on yourself sweetie and hopefully it will all start to fall into place again
