Determined and can!!!!!

Morning dudes. Having such a busy weekend. Friday night retirement do, had a great night. Yesterday girls afternoon with my pals, fantastic fun and laughs. Food wise I haven't been counting but not disastrous, May have to be happy with a slight gain or STS. Lots of wine too but hey what a great few days and I have fit into clothes I haven't worn for 2 years.
Today my daughter has a dancing show at our local theatre so I am about to wake her up and get her organised, the costumes are fantastic. We have torrential rain at the minute but the garden needs it.
Anyway, out on Friday,saw a chap I hadn't seen for about a year and I asked him if he had lost weight. He said yes him and his wife had been on a diet, he had lost 2 and half stone and she 3, they had been doing SW since Christmas and he said its amazing, I am eating a of the time and never Hungary. He said his wife is loving being in smaller sized clothes!
 
Geordie it's a great feeling re the smaller clothes. Your friends have done brilliantly too. Weekend sounds a lot of fun. I've enjoyed a nice large glass of red wine at the beach pub this afternoon as been missing it :)
 
Well I have put on 2 lb, no surprise really after the week and weekend, I ate out four times! So dust oneself off and hopefully loose it next week, it's that bad week of the month for loosing any way!!!!
Had a great day yesterday, my daughter's dance show, I was one proud mama. We went out after the show with the three grandparents for dinner which was lovely and we all really enjoyed ourselves, clearly!!!
 
Hi Geordie I'm at work again after weigh in. I too gained this week blooming star week this morning so think that may have contributed to it as food wise it's been quite good. Unless it was the Pringles attack! Anyway I'm glad your daughter show was really good. Sorry about your gain we'll both lose it next week. X
 
Hi. The slimming world book says you can enjoy 5-15 syncs a day. Does that mean you have to have at least 5? So far I've felt satisfied and not needed any really but it's nice to know they're there. Do I have to use them? Thanks x

Hi Emziie, I don't always have mine through the week usually at least 7-8 syns but weekends have more because of my wine drinking usually at least one night per weekend! You can have flexi syns I think so you save them up for when needed. I think some people have all of them everyday and still loose weight, some don't. Best advice I could give is see what works best for you. I have come to the conclusion that this isn't a quick fix for me as I like to eat out and drink alcohol but it's worked,overall I have lost about 11 lb over nearly three months and I am pleased with the results, want to loose about another stone and a half. My weight loss on my profile is as per SW, I joined class about 2weeks into the diet

Hiya ladies, thanks for your nice messages. Aqua I think I had a bad week more with alcohol than anything! Did have some sneaky chocolate too. Cookie, busy day been out all day with work, long day. Just ordered chicken kebabs for tea. Had fruit and yogurt for breakfast and a brown bread ham and cheese sandwich for lunch hex a and b and a peanut hifi and banana, 6 syns. There will be 6 syns from the pitta on the kebab and maybe 4 from the garlic sauce so 16 syns for today.
Cookie I have only made one thing from the Asia cook book so need to get it out and do more cooking!
 
Hey Geordie how are you? I've been out for lunch today with a girlfriend and I didn't have any wine, I drove to stop any temptation. I reckon if you've got a few meals or drink out planned in a week drive to one of them if you can. X

Hey cookie I am good. I am just busy at the minute trying to balance working from home with the school hols and finishing off my work before I go on holiday! I have a week and a day to finish off.
Your lunch sounded lovely, are you on days off? I have stopped work for the day and am sitting chilling for once.

Food yesterday was fruit and yoghurt, brown bread tuna, mayo and salad sandwich(hex b) 1 syn. Twisted mini lolly, 3 syns. Then spag bol for tea, probably 3 syns for the sauce and 3 martinis and cloudy diet lemonade.

Today I really fancied a change for breakfast so had special k and semi skimmed milk (hex a and 4.5 syns) had left over spag bol for lunch with SW chips. Just had an ice lolly, 3 syns. Tea is to be some pulled pork with a sauce I got from asda and rice and salad.

Hope everyone is having a good day, it's warm and a bit overcast here. My daughter is playing out with her friend so I might have a nana nap, lol x
 
Yes I'm off today Geordie woo hoo! Back in on 7-5 on Saturday to Monday. Washing done, some cleaning done, cooking, I can't be bothered Brett's picking a cooked chicken up on the way home from work and were having salad & couscous. Your pulled pork sounds nice though really yummy. Meals look good too and I'm impressed with 3 martins as there low syns. We'll lose weight for next weigh in I reckon. X

Went out last night to friends and took some tandoori chicken and rice for the Buffett, had one pie ce of pizza and some cheese and crackers and lots of pink wine. Didn't get to bed til 3 but had lots of fun and laughs.
Today went out for lunch and had a jacket potato and tuna, menu wasn't great for SW. Was dying to have fish and chip s. So tired after being out late so off to bed soon......

Hey Geordie, I think you could've had fish and chips and took the batter off, that's why I do but that's because I've hated the batter well before I joined SW. I usually have 1/3 portion of chips or 1/2 if I'm feeling really bad! Sometimes when your busy its hard work preparing food for this diet xx

Hey aqua, getting excited! Two weeks tomorrow, yeeha. 5 more days at work! Not sure if I will make WI tomorrow due to work but if I cannot Will go Tuesday. Almost feels like hols already to be honest, daughter off and loads going on and nice weather! Been lovely again today but just started to rain. Food wise probably feel like I am trying to maintain due to busy times but not giving up! This week has been ok WI will tell!

Cookie I could have but would have felt guilty about the chips! Had a bit of a blowout on Friday night so had to be good!
 
Busy day. Didn't get home til late so going to WI tomorrow instead. Had really bad rain today, it's been awful! Food wasnt bad
B- raspberries and yoghurt
S- peanut hifi and banana hex b
L - Brown bread ham salad sandwich - 6 syns
D - prawns, mange tout, baby corn in a sweet chilli sauce, 3 syns and rice noodles
Then 2 squares of milka chocolate- 4 syns?
 
Hey Geordie I nearly didn't go to weigh in today, I justo didn't fancy it at all but my friend Amanda gave me a good talking too so I went and lost 1lb yay! Also got my club 10 award too. It feels good to have a loss after a gain last week. Hope the rain eases up for you Geordie, we've had it on and off all day but I drove in to work as I couldn't face my bike this morning. It was nice having the extra half hour in bed instead.

Good luck for tomorrow. I had been thinking about moving my weigh in day to a Thursday but not sure yet x
