Thanks so much Katy!

If I can do it, I know you can do it too hon! The smileyface was especially created hehee, hours of labour went into it as I'm sure you can imagine :D

You;re doing so well hon, 810 may seem a long way from 1500 but it's only a few steps ;) (I'll leave it up to you if that's good or bad but I reckon it's good!!)

Thanks so much for your lovely words hon they mean a lot!!! xxxx

So, today!

I had cracottes with cheese and egg (cooked.. egg err.. boiled!! tjhat's the word). Sadly they'd gone all soggy. :cry:They tasted lovely but weren't very crunchy anymore. :wave_cry::wave_cry::wave_cry: Sniffles.

I had 2 choc chip cookies (105kcal) as snack and I forgot to bring grapes :( My planning ability isn't always as good.

I've had about 1400kcal today including dinner and I might have some milk in my tea later or something of the sort.

I hope to be able to safely move onto 1600kcal next week.

xx

Oh yea.

My CDC texted me yesterday saying how moved she was by my story. I might put it up here this weekend, not sure yet though, it is quite personal :)

I was so happy when she texted me that!! I was really worried about it being a BAD story etc..

Hahahaha loving the new thread title my evil little cracotte :D

I wanted to add cracotte but the Shrooms got upset.:rolleyes:

You know how they are.......

BTW, these are cracottes:

Hmm. Can't find pic without the box. But they're quite light (both to carry and onthe tummy) and because they're only 25kcal and 3 equal a piece of bread in size for spread etc etc, I can add 20kcal no sugar jam to 3 of them and hardly have any kcal :D

75+20 = 95 kcal :D YAY! :D It's a lovely meal but can also be a lovely snack!!

x

In size they;re like knackebrod... crackers? They are nothing like Melba toast though, the taste etc is all different and so is the structure. It's very hard to explain to someone who doesn't know it.

They are lovely and crispy :D Haha!!

Was thinking about you today...you and almonds :D Not insinuating you're a nut or anything :D

Was reading in the inspiration mag about how they lower the GI rating of a meal and the more you ate the lower the GI became.

Remembered how your CDC really wants you to be low GI. Damn nuisance that almonds are so expensive where you are :(

Omg you thought of me! I don't know whether to cry or run......:p

Sounds pretty cool, the almond theory! They are BLOODY expensive I kid you not. I have no idea why! You can buy loads of crisps for that money and almonds, the non altered choco coated normal ones, are really expensive.

The nut world hates me I reckon. Walnuts are not a lot cheaper but I like almonds more. They have this... nice taste and they're a good snack!

My mum said they sold them a bit cheaper at Lidl so might go there and see. Last I saw em in shops it was 3,50€... ridiculous. Why can't they sell me some for 1€. Its market in the city tomorrow, might go there to see what the almonds cost there.

I WANT MY DARN ALMONDS

They are, and of course all this research about the lack of weight gain with them, which is dead weird.

do you ever come to the UK. Come to that...why do you speak perfect English...are you one of us in disguise?

Yep, love the lack of weight gain part too. All this nut-research is wicked cool:cool: I may want to become one of those nut-researchers when I grow up!

I use babelfish to translate everything :D

(for those who don't know about it, it SUCKS! buuut... it's either that or me being an alien. Whichever you like best :D)

I lived in Singapore for 8yrs they started teaching me the English language when I was about 5 or 6 years old. I hope to do a minor in English next year as I'd love to improve my English even more, the language fascinates me. It was always very easy for me though. I reached level B2 (probably doesn't mean anything to you) easily and hoping to get to C2 with minor. I am far from perfect really and I want to be flawless at it:p

You should hear me speak English rather than see me type, my posh accent doesn't even reveal I'm Dutch! :D (Most Dutch people have this really peculiar accent when speaking English)

My English teachers all loved me :D

I've been to the UK twice. Once for my cousins wedding and once with my family on our little trip to London!

Well I'll be jiggered (wonder how well that word translates :D)

You would never know that English wasn't your first language. I'm gobsmacked! (another great word for babelfish :D)

Hahaha!! Nice bet-you-won't-know-these-then-word-usage there! Sadly, I knew them both! HAH!:D

Thanks for the amazing compliment! :D It's really quite flattering. :p

Foodddddddddddd.

Morning 2 pieces of bread with meat...stuff some sauce tomatoes (omg, bad!)
Lunch 4 cracottes with jam
Dinner Ristorante pizza -50% fat (omg, it's only 598kcal for the WHOLE pizza! I didn't eat all but... ate most of it!)
Had some strawberries and a few grapes.

1242kcal total.

Also did a total of 60mins (2x30) on our hometrainer .... fitness type thingie. Burning about 408kcal so I can add 340kcal to whatever I'm going to do with my leftover kcals.........

Feeling pretty full now, I just had a bowl of cereal with milk because I was feeling hungry.

Feeling very cold now, I might go to bed early tonight....

I did another 2x30mins on our crosstrainer (thanks Serena for the word lol) and am feeling quite exhausted now.

Did okay foodwise, at about 1500 kcal (well, 1545 to be exact...) I'm really quite obsessed with counting kcals. I check the kcals on everything and I'm not sure this is a good thing???

You know what they say...knowledge is power...so I'd say it's good :) Well at least until you know what's what. It's when you go to instinctively look for the calories on a dog food tin that you have a problem...not that I've ever done that of course  :D

That is quite true. I do know which things to pick that are lower calorie and which have higher calories etc... so I guess that's okay? ;)

LOL @ dog food tin. No, don't check that as we don't have dogs.. Do they have info on them?????
