Ding Dong the Enemy's dead!

Sorry about your friends Mary :( very sad. Certainly does put things into perspective xx

Thanks all, but at least I can take some comfort from the memories, and more importantly, their loved ones will have many happy memories.

Just sat tonight in work and wrote a long letter back to my friends Husband in New Zealand - quite emotional day/night tonight. I am sure I will get some comfort from Mr Smirnoff tomorrow eh!

I'm sure you will chick :D

:hug99:

Ahhh Mr Smirnoff's embrace can sooth all ills ... temporarilly ;) xx

Just in the process of eating my last Ciabatta bread, toasted with bacon and soft cheese.......roll on healthy eating again.

Forgot to mention earlier,

Maisey had her bath and groom the other day at the pets parlour. She looks and smells lovely now and she is sure going around strutting her stuff now. We went out for our usual 3 mile walk yesterday and about 1.5 miles of the walk is on a cycle track. Well I took her off the lead for the first time and she was brilliant. She came back to me when I called her and walked lovely.

I had my first mammogram (Tanya, its for old ladies :D:D:D) on Tuesday, and it was better than I thought. Just a little uncomfortable, so I have to wait 4 weeks for the result. Even though my Sister was diagnosed with breast Cancer a year past Xmas, which she now has the all clear for, I am not worried, as the sort she had was not something that is hereditary.

Mary, the gain may be less by your official weigh in, so well done there. Mammograms are a bit uncomfy. I had my first one late autumn. It's good to have the old health checks to keep us ticking along. The smear is the one I dislike.
Maisie sounds like she us coming on a treat. Pets are do wonderful.

Yes it wasnt as bad as I thought Molly, and like you say, I would rather have ten of these than 1 smear test.

Aww I am so pleased with Maisey, she has come on in leaps and bounds. She didnt even know how to play with toys when we first had her as her 7 years have been spent caged up on a puppy farm, but now she loves her walks and play time. I was so proud of her yesterday when she walked along the track with no lead.

Oh Mary, I hadn't realised that was how poor little Maisie had spent her former life.....that is barbaric. I can't bear to think that animals have unplrasant memories, I've no idea what happened to a rescue cat that we had but in the 8 years we had him he changed into a different animal. I hope that Maisie has a long and happy life with you!

Had my mammogram last week, as you say unpleasant but not unbearable, the only thing that i was worried about was that my boobies might stay that shape! It's bad enough that they're not longer as pert as they once were:eek:

Yes she was just used for breeding Sandra. To be honest, she has a lovely little nature and not in the least bit aggressive. I must post some recent pics up on facebook.

So, wednesday you had Roast Port ??? There's always alcohol involved girl! :rotflmao:

I know what a mammogram is even being young :p hehe
Glad to have you back aboard with us Mary :) and i didn't realise Maisy was that old, i thought she was only a baby! And defo get some recent pics up! :D xxx

LOL..........roast port........and I am not even on my phone, its a normal keyboard in work.

Yeah, they have estimated Maisey between 6-7 Tanya. My wee Princess she is.

Menu's looking good Mary :) 3lbs not bad at all considering and that'll be well gone by wi!

Glad you're enjoying Maisie so much ... I'm damn sure she's enjoying you too! xx
