Ding Dong the Enemy's dead!

Thank you girls. I just need to keep it up though.

Another 1lb down today - I love to see the scales moving downwards!

Food today

Dinner - Cheese omelette, salad. Greek corner yogurt.

Brought 1 lt shake to work and 1 yogurt and strawberry asda meal replacement bar, just eating that now and its gorgeous.

We actually T.U.P.E'd over to another company as from yesterday, still doing the same job though, and I have come into work tonight to a box of celebrations just for our team, each team got some, so I will endeavour NOT to touch them but take my share home for Phill.

Update in the morning lol.

Well done on losing 3lb that's fab!

We must have posted the same time :)

Well done on 4lb :)

Fab Mary! :)
x

Well done on the other lb AND resisting the celebrations :)

I love those Asda bars as well :D xx

I might try the Tesco bars this week, see what they are like. Handy for work.

Still sticking to a main meal and bars or shakes for the other two, except yesterday, spent the day at my Daughters and had no shakes, so had chicken salad for tea.

I love the tesco bars - plus they are a baring :)
I'm gonna get some when exante runs out...

I'm a choc lover but can't stand the choc ones. I have a 30 mile round trip for the raspberry ones and that's all I go for, I get as many boxes as I can :) x

The Tesaco ones are good but I prefer the Asda ones. I do believe the choccie asda ones are on offer at £2 for 3 instead of £2.48 though the other ones aren't reduced.

I went in a Morrison's near Bristol yesterday and they were selling the BL ones for £2.21!!! That's probably the proper price but I wouldn't pay it - £1.50 each is bad enough & I don't get them very often .. they're nice though. xx

Lis, the Raspberry ones sound nice, I might try the bigger Tesco to see if they stock them.

Jan, I didnt buy the BL ones in Asda last week, I begrudged the money, thats why I got two boxes of the Asda ones, I like them. Not tried the Tesco one yet.

Food.

B - 2 bacon, 1 egg in frylite, tinned toms, 1 toast, scraping of butter.

D - Kippers and poached egg.

S - Not sure yet, will edit later.

Just reading Sarah's loss reminded me, I forgot to WI this morning. I will do it tomorrow as I get up for work.

Mm love you're menu today!!
Can't wait to hear your loss tomo :) xx

And I scroll down with bated breath and ...... and??? ...... ;)

I got a bargain on the BL bars this morning. They were priced wrongly on the shelf at £1.20 so I got 8. They came up at £1.50 on the till but they let me have them for £1.20. I know they are dearer than the others but still £1.50 for a meal isn't too bad - now and again anyhoo ;)

Hope you're okay hon xx

Got to love a bargain!! :D

Yeah Mary .... how did you do??x

Sorry girls, I have not weighed.

Long long story, but I ended up in Hospital all day Tuesday. I woke with sharp pains in my left shoulder and arm, and due to a heart complaint in 2004 I have a spray to use under my tongue if and when I get these pains. Never had to use it until then. Anyway, I took the spray twice and the pain was still there, so Phill phoned 999 and an ambulance was sent, meanwhile, I had to crunch 4 x 75mg of aspirin with no water. The ambulance was here in a matter of minutes, and they took me outside to the ambulance and done an ECG, which was normal. Well off we went to A+E and they done another ECG, followed by numerous blood tests, and an injection into my stomach to thin the blood. I then had to be admitted and wait nearly 12 hours for the result of the blood test, which would have shown if there had been any problem. Well the pain subsided in the ambulance, and I just waited all day, attached to the heart monitor. The Doctor came around just after 7pm, and gave me the all clear, but he was fascinated by my past medical history in 2004 when I died twice - glad I was of interest to him lol. Long and short of the 2004 episode is that I have prinzmetal angina, which occurs at rest, and my artery goes into spam, which actually happened twice and I died twice. The second time was in the hospital and when I came around they had the two pads on me ready to re-start my heart. Since then though, I have been on medication called calcium channel blockers, and have been fit as a fiddle.

Well home I went that evening, followed by an early night, but when I woke the next morning, I wanted to strip the bed, as I had been having a few hot flushes during the night. I stripped the bed, and when I bent down to pick up the sheets, booooooom, my back went again. I decided enough was enough, so I went to a Chiropractor yesterday, and had my first session. I have to go back again on Monday and then again on Thursday. He stuck a few acupuncture needles into me too, but today it still hurts..................which brings me onto Thomasina.......

My pack of Rosetta Stone arrived the other day, so while my back is out, I have been studying my Turkish, which has greatly improved over the last few days, so thank you sooooo much to Thomasina for getting me the RS pack.

This brings me onto my diet, which has been NON existent over the last few days, and tomorrow I am out to Sunday lunch with Phill and my next door neighbours. Once again, the diet starts on Monday, but then I am out for a meal on Wednesday with Phill, as Maisey is down for her grooming/cutting session, so we always go out for a meal whilst she is being pampered.

.....................otherwise, all is fine on the Mary front lol. Hope i haven't bored you all too much if you have got this far!

Oh god Mary!! I am glad you are ok!!!!! :)
You died twice! I'm fascinated (sorry lol).

Get yourself back to it when you are ready & fit enough and enjoy your meals out over the next few days xxx

Wow you have had a tough couple of days! Glad the Rosetta Stone has bought you some relief!
Did they work out what was wrong in the end?
