Mad??????? Me??????????

Naaaaaaaaaaaah! :p

Today's Menu.

Breakfast - Porridge made with skimmed milk.
Lunch - Chicken broth. Strawberries with Greek yogurt.
Dinner - Pork dressed in a Greek yogurt, mustard and honey glaze (thanks for this - cant wait to try it) with a mixed salad.

Snacks - Fruit if necessary. Taking others tips and trying not to snack today unless I am genuinely hungry.

It's funny, that once you're eating again, the slightest thing makes you think I'm hungry and will just have a snack. I think most of the time we aren't actually hungry but just know that cos we can have something we automatically think we should. This is something I have to find a way round cos I know if I start snacking, especially when I'm not really that hungry, I would slip back into my old ways and I really don't want to. Going to try not to snack through the day at all cos it will only lead to bigger things (me included!!).

I agree Bev, and having one thing just leads to another thing, plus it becomes a habit, and I have got into the habit of having fruit for snacks (healthy as it is) but its a habit now and I am not having it because I am hungry.

New day, new me, new way of thinking - long may it continue.

I think we just need to stay aware. I took down my LT chart yesterday and made a 'maintenance' one. I find visual aids really helpful. It's on my bedroom wall and from the bed each night and morning I can see how I'm doing. On this one I've put the weigh-in date (each monday), notes about what's happened that week (hols, meals out, whatever) then my weight, the change in weight and a 'comments' column.

I just feel this'll help me stay on track. xx
