Hi just a quick update, sorry I have not had time to come on.

I was good all week, then had a blow out on Sunday and ate for Wales and drank for Britain lol. Anyway, the good news is I lost 6lb.

Back on it now with a mission and I promise to try and get on here more and stick to it this time with no cheating for a couple of weeks.

Well folks, I just cannot commit myself to TFR at this present moment. I dont know whether its because I dont want to lose much, or whether its still some effects from not smoking, but I just cant seem to handle it right now. I have decided to do 2 shakes and a meal for the time being.

I have been picking at things like pickled onions, sliced beetroot etc, so I decided last night to have a meal and start doing that daily. I ended up just picking at some cockles and pickles last night, but today I am committed to losing a stone and being sensible. 2 shakes, mid afternoon snack and evening meal.

Breakfast - Shake.
Snack - Apple.
Lunch - Shake.
Evening meal, Tuna salad.

Still glugging the water.

Edit - 1 jaffa cake. (probably would have been more if there was more in the pack, but there are 4 of us in work, so we shared :)

At least you are being honest with yourself Mary. The diet is hard enough as it is, and if you are just strugging, there is no point. You could just go the opposite way and have a good old binge because you are finding it so hard.

You are sensible so know you will do ok! It cant be easy with not smoking either!

So, you will be on here now and I can keep up with you :)

Hopefully be joining you all again in a few weeks, only got 13lbs to go now!!!
 
There's definitely something in the air at the moment Mary! It must be harder for you this time though with the added difference of not being able to curb cravings and wanting to put something in your mouth by having a fag.

You're doing really great and you know best how to go forward from here. Good luck with it xx
 
Yes thats exactly it Jan, I am still looking for something for my mouth, even though I am not hungry, its just cravings, but at least I am able to tell the difference now between genuine hunger and cravings, after not sticking completely to TFR and not being in ketosis for days, I DID have genuine hunger for the first time in a LONG time.
 
Adapting the little and often method into my diet from today, just to try and see if this helps boost the metabolism.

I have also registered with 'Fitness Pal' which will keep a count of the calories.

Nights last night and tonight.

Breakfast - Shake.

Lunch - Wholemeal pitta with serving of lowlow cheese and mixed salad. Apple.

Dinner - Chicken casserole. Hartleys no added sugar jelly with frozen berries.

Snacks - Apple. Special K bliss bar.

6 Tea/Coffee with semi skimmed milk.

Total calories - 1191.

Thanks everyone, you are all so good and supportive, this forum really is the best.

Yesterdays food and alcohol (well it is/was Saturday)

Up at midday from a nightshift, so didnt fancy a breakfast.

Lunch - Lentil soup and a crust from a burgen soya and linseed loaf.

Usual meet up with friends up the local club, I had 4 large vodka and diet coke.

Dinner - Ocean pie, brocolli, carrots, 1 potato.
1 McVities Jaffa Cake Mini Roll.

Total of 1476 calories, made up of empty alcohol calories, but it was nice at the time lol.

Well I put 7 pounds on over christmas and so back to watching my weight so need your support guys, going to put what I eat on the site and hope it helps.

SATURDAY
porridge made with semi-skimmed milk and water 35g.
Lunch seafood selection sugar free jelly.
Tea Small pastry filled with goats cheese red pepper. Salmon with green beans
strawberries and blueberries with a spoonful of fat free yoghurt.

Sunday
No breakfast went to gym and had special k ceral bar when finished.
Lunch pork, carrrot and turnip mash 3 new potatoes and brocolli.
Tea will be pitta bread with tuna, cabbage, carrot, onion with a dollop of extra light mayonnaise.
 
yes it is, it must be even harder when you have stopped smoking as well, how is it going have you booked icemeler this year ?
