Yes Joy, we are off again on the 18th June for two weeks, cant wait, need some sunshine. What about you, are you going this year chick?

On the diet front, things still not going well, not lost any weight, but not gained any either, so I am going to try TFR again from tomorrow to see if I can stick to it this time, just for a measly 3 weeks, but my head is somewhere else just now.
 
Oh mary :hug99: dont beat yerself up over it - i can imagine quitting smoking after so many years isnt easy and so i think you should keep focused on that. aslong as your not putting anymore on then alls ok :)

good luck with trying tfr again - its 3 weeks .. 21 days ... be over before youve got started :)
 
Mary not sure if we are going back this year, if we do it will probably be in September. Going back to cuba this year as we really enjoyed it. By the sounds of it icemeler is not going to be quite the same, as a lot of business have been streamlined to meet the major requirements. I know what you mean about the diet thing, was doing well, but had a bad weekend and feeling down now. I am tempted to go back on tfr but not sure if they would let me as I am 10'4 and dont have that much to lose. Will keep going, 17 weeks for my hols so plenty of time.

Don't disappear when you're struggling hon.... get on here and know you're not on your own!!!

It's hard isn't it? You know you can do it though and your head WILL get back into the right space if you'r patient and don't give yourself too hard a time. You're not gaining any more and that's an achievement in itself!

Aww thanks everyone, you really are ALL so supportive.

I am so full of determination each day to eat sensibly then I just end up eating everything in sight. I am geared up to start it again tomorrow, but I have been called in to cover an extra shift tonight. I have been thinking though that I might try 2 shakes and a sensible evening meal, see if I can handle that better than just TFR.

Will definitely keep you updated, and once again, thanks for all the support.

As far as the smokes go, I definitely feel over it, infact, I am now at the stage when I hate the smell, and especially when people are heavy smoking when drinking - right off putting, I really dont know how my Husband could have kissed me all these years lol.
 
I often think the same thing Mary about my husband .... and I can't stand the smell now either.

Hope the extra shift goes okay and the 2 shakes and a meal work out for you if that's what you decide to do xxx
 
Cheers Jan, my head is so upside down at the moment, I am still not 100% sure of what I am doing tomorrow, but I will log on tomorrow night and let you know the decision lol.

Awww..sorry to hear you are finding it hard to get back into the swing of eating healthily....takes me back to before Christmas, and remember how supportive you all were to me!!!!!!!

A switch will go on; just you wait and see! It is what happened to me.....I just knew New Years Day, even although I should have been having a lovely meal on that day, I just knew my head was in the right place and I couldnt delay it. Dont get me wrong Mary, it is bloody hard going and some days I could eat an old shoe I am that hungry and craving food!! But, I just felt so unhappy and just knew I had to do it now or never!

Get yourself to that point of where you know there is no going back....try and nip it in the bud now, just before you do put on any more.....it doesnt get any easier...haha...unfortunately!

I am routing for you and you have been such an inspiration to me and many others on here that you can go backwards! We wont allow you to....you and Jan are our heros.. ;-)))))

Thank you everyone. Well I do feel a little better in my head today. I was in bed until Midday as I was on nights last night, so I still hadn't decided what to do until I got out of bed.

Well I had a strawberry shake at 1pm, apple at 3pm, then I had a chicken breast stir fried with vegetables for dinner, then I had 2 ryvita with tuna, mayo and sweetcorn for supper.

I also went on the Wii today and did half an hour of exercise. I have gained 8lb since I was last weighed on the Wii, and my weight is now 11st 7lb.

Feeling quite motivated today, so lets hope it continues. I wont eat anything else tonight as that could possibly trigger a binge off.

good luck Mary, sounds like there are a few of us struggling at the moment, I wonder if it's the weather. A lady at work lost a lot of weight with TFR and she is struggling at the moment too, so we are trying to support each other. Keep going you know that you can do it.
 
Must be something in the air Joy........we just need a big fan to turn that wind right round and back to where it came from.
 
I too think its down to the crappy weather!
Come the summer it will all be fresh and fruity and i think we'll do ok but untill then we have to find some way to get a hold of it :sigh: poop pooop poooooopppp!! lol

We can do it girls (and lads too if you're reading this!!) The weather will soon be warming up and giving us a spring in our step, renewed vitality and determination! All we have to do is hold out till then!! ;) xx
 
Another good day today - fingers crossed my head has gone to somewhere I want it to be at last.

Strawberry shake for breakfast, with an apple.

Lunch, Packet of quavers, 2 melba toast and philly light, salad. Cuppa soup.

Dinner, Stir fried chicken with half a pack of stir fried veggies, peppers, beansprouts etc. Gooseberry yogurt.

Back to work tomorrow, so off to decide what to take for lunch.

I definitely feel more motivated, and to be honest, I think logging on here every day like I used to, is definitely helping. So oncea again, thanks guys.

Early morning snack - Special K bar.
Breakfast - Shake
Lunch - WW Soup, 3 melba toast with phily lite and cucumber. Grapes.
Snack - Apple.
Dinner - WW Ocean Pie, Brocolli and carrots. Yogurt.

Edit to add 2 glasses of red wine last night - I also had a small bowl of cornflakes yesterday afternoon in work, (really small) as I felt that shaky feeling like I needed some food.
