Ding Dong the Enemy's dead!

Well what a lovely day I have had. I got up at 11:20am and had a wash and bikini was straight on. I have had such a pleasant afternoon/evening in the garden with Phill and we stayed there until about 7pm. I began to get a little cool then, so came in for a shower.

Diet today,

Midday - Apple.
1pm 1 vodka and diet lemonade and a small dash of lime, a few ice cubes.
3pm, 2 boiled eggs, 2 stalks of celery, 2 spring onions, fresh beetroot, 5 cherry tomatoes, cucumber. I made a dip of garlic, Hellmans extra lite mayo and finely chopped cucumber to dip the celery and spring onions into - it was delicious.
5pm 2nd vodka.
6pm 3rd vodka.
8pm 2 ryvita, small amount of thinly sliced mature cheddar, beetroot, radishes, another dip with Hellmans extra lite mayo and a half teaspoon of mustard.

Now on my 4th and final vodka then it will be an early night for me. Feeling a little tired now, but so contented, what a gorgeous afternoon I have had, so relaxing.

I have found that my appetite has been supressed (first time ever) over the last few days in the nice weather, it really is a strange feeling for me not to feel hungry.

Then today when I was thinking about it in the garden, I am wondering that I might be in ketosis, because I have not eaten any potatoes, rice, pasta, bread etc for over a week.

Probably could be the case.

It could very well be Mary!!! either way your doing fab with food these past few days and i'm glad you feel content with it all :D keep it up chick xxx

Thank you Tanya.

Another nice day here in Wales, and a day in the garden again, minus the vodka lol - but might have one or two tonight as back to work on Thursday.

Just had breakfast, 2 ryvita with extra lite mayo, 2 boiled eggs, 5 cherry tomatoes, sliced cucumber and fresh beetroot.

Salmon and salad for dinner, then I dont know what for lunch, maybe just some fruit.

Weighed today and lost 2lbs, so considering I had a two day off the shakes and ate nawty stuff, I am very pleased with that.

:woohoo: fantastic loss woman!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D x

well done mary. I might have a few brandies and diet coke tonight NOT AT WORK tomorrow so can relax and chill.

Your food sounded lovely though...I have got real cravings for egg and asparagus salad again, but had eggs 2 days in a row and try to limit them....but oh, I can just see the big bowl now!! hahahahahah

Thank you Tanya.

Thank you all, and sorry I didnt get back online yesterday.

We had all intentions of having the day in the garden again, but it began to cool down a little, and it was just a wee bit too cold to lay there in a bikini, so what did we do - yes, we went out to the local club.

Well all I had to eat was the breakfast that I listed, so I said to Phill, I will take a handful of raisins just incase I get that shaky feeling and it will save me buying a bag of crisps. Well after 2 hours in the club, I didnt get the shaky feeling, but those little raisins were calling my name, so I ate some of them.

Then when it closed at 4pm, we decided with another friend to go to the next village to our friends pub and thats what we done, and we stayed there until 8pm. Needless to say, I had a bag of salt and vinegar crisps.

When we got home, we didnt want anything to eat, so we just went straight to bed.

Back on the straight and narrow today though and a full menu of nice healthy salads etc.

Off shopping in an hour or so to pick up some holiday clothes, I am just after some skirts and a couple of vest tops.

See you all later.

hope you did well with your shopping mary, when do you go to our icmeler? We think we are going to try and go in september, depending on how much money we spend in cuba of course. sabri's bar in which we often frequent ermm nearly every night seems to have got popular have you ever been there?

I loved the story about the raisins.....typical eh! I would do exactly the same......but I think the crisps would have won me over too!

Hope you got lots of nice clothes when you went out shopping...there are so many sales on at the minute as well! Always seem to be sales these days!!!!!!!!

Oh, not long now till you go Mary...

Hey you lot ... seems I've been missing out on the love n stuff ;) ... can I join in??? :):)

Mary - you seem to have found the best way for you at this time. If TFR is too much of a trial there's no point in being miserable, you can do a brilliant job this way too so great!

As I've said elsewhere and as you know yourself - there are soooo many posts to catch up on in the thread after a week I apologise if I've missed anything important. I HAVE skimmed right through but I haven't read every single word.

Your situation with your friends in Turkey sounds fantastic. How did you come to have this relationship with them? Just from visiting there often?
Have you heard of Ortakent? (have you Iris?) It;s been recommended to us as somewhere really quiet. I'd like to have at least one more try at Turkey - I think it could be ideal if we could find somewhere REALLY quiet. xxx

Booked for twice this year Joy, we go on June 18th for two weeks, then again on October 4th for 2 weeks.

What is the other name for Sabri's bar? Not too sure if I go there or not :8855:

Oh the raisins, they just kept yelling to me, Mary, eat me, eat me.......:8855:
Yeah I got quite a few things for the shopping list - clothes wise, I had 9 vests, 4 skirts and a dress and I will pop over to George at Asda on Saturday nightshfit and see if I can pick up a few more skirts. I usually tend to wear 3/4 trousers in the evening, but seeing as we are going two weeks later than usual this year and it will be warmer, I have been buying some skirts, just above knee length, so I think they will be much cooler.

Jan, sending you much love too hun and welcome back again.

We formed this relationship with our friend as he worked one year in Marmaris. To cut a long story short, his boss was a right Prat, and Phill and I just sort of adopted him and looked out for him, his boss was forever yelling at him all the time and in front of all the customers, I struggled to keep calm more than a few times.
Well over the winter we kept in touch, phone calls, webcam etc and the friendship just grew and grew, he now seems like part of the family. Now when we go on holiday he tries to come to see us for a few days, but owing to him having just finished his Army service last year, we have not seen him for about 18 months, so it will be lovely to see him again this time.
It was on one of his little trips to see us that we decided to hire a car and make the LONG drive to his Parents and Phill and I still talk about what an experience it was - a lovely experience.

Spent most of yesterday looking for paint as we are painting the outside of the house, so the work is starting today (thank goodness I am in work haha).

Foodwise yesterday,
Breakfast, boiled egg and salad.
Lunch, packet of square crisps and an apple as we were out and about.
Dinner, Grilled rainbow trout and salad.

Food just doesnt seem to be bothering me at the moment, loving the feeling.

Brought to work today,
Breakfast, shake.
Snack, apple.
Lunch, Salad and a tin of tuna, Strawberries and a mullerlite yogurt.
Dinner tonight will be steamed cod, green beans and carrots.

Beginning of October is still lovely, hot to sunbathe during the day, and on the occassional evening you might need a cardie, but very rarely.
