Ding Dong the Enemy's dead!

I can't do that power napping thing - wish I could. It's awful when you get really tired so early, hard to drag yourself out of it! Good Luck! xx

Time for a caffeine fix I think - will check later to see if you are around.

Looking forward to seeing your pics when you get them all sorted out.

Working on it ;) - enjoy the coffee xx

Breakfast, 2 cherry tomatoes, small piece of cheese, cherry yogurt (cant eat much after nightshift)

Dinner, Chicken leg, 2 new potatoes, carrots, green beans, gravy.

Supper, 3 rye ryvita, sliced chicken, 6 cherry tomatoes, cucumber, green pepper. Apple, yogurt.

Edit to add a Welsh cake tonight in work, just like a little scone with raisins, very nice too.

Edit 2, I also had a basil and garlic dip with the ryvita and chicken tonight, that was lovely. I am buzzing of garlic now though - poor work colleagues.

You're lucky not being able to eat much after a night shift Mary - I could eat a scabby horse!!! :D

You don't seem to be eating much at all Missis - don't go too mad now will ya ;) xx

Oh dont you worry Jan, I am just trying to be extra extra good before the holidays, but to be honest, I am not hungry.

Remember, BIKINI ICMELER, BIKINI ICMELER, BIKINI ICMELER :8855:

LOL! Maybe you ARE in ketosis like you said :) xx

I dont think I am in ketosis now, I have been having ryvita regularly, I had potatoes today and the Welsh cake tonight.......but I think my stomach is just glad to get back to sensible eating after the indulgency (is that a word?) when I gave up the fags.......lol.

Its great not to feel bloated.

Yeah, I know what you mean ... I say again - why on earth do we do it to ourselves!?! Carrying on even though we feel awful! Btw - I haven't had any gaviscon since getting back on the wagon - just shows you

You're doing really well :) xx

Great news on the non gaviscon, just shows that our bodies dont like the stuff we put into it, and its just the way of telling us - no more.

Thanks Jan, it does feel good to be back in control again like I was up until last November. I am now just 1lb heavier than when I started my refeed in April 2009, so I am pleased about that too.

Excellent!! Well done you - I know it hasn't been easy. :) xx

Thank you.

How did you sleep today?
I was woken a few times by the guy who is painting the outside of our house, then I went back to bed at 2pm, and asked Phill to wake me at 4:15 for a shower. I have to leave at 5:20 for work. He was a bit busy too, so I said, shall I set my alarm? I asked him this twice and he said, no, there is no need. Well I must have dozed off and when I looked at the clock it was 4:25. I felt rushed after that, even though I had everything ready for work, I wanted a shower, wash my hair etc, but no time for the hair washing, just a quick shower, cuppa tea then head to work.

Little things like that tend to stress me, its the OCD again, I wanted to be out of that bed at 4:15 LMAO.

Ooo no I know what you mean - we have our little routines and can feel all out of kilter if they don't go to plan. It's like the 'day' hasn't started right somehow! I have to have a good hour and a half between getting up and leaving the house (not at night - I don't leave at night till either 10.15 or 10.45 - I don't stay in bed till 8.45 or 9.15 lol) But I need 'coming to' time 'getting going' time and then 'getting ready' time. LOL. I remember when I used to jump out of bed at 8.05 and leave the house at 8.25 .... MANY years ago. The best I can do now (barring emergencies of course when I HAVE been known to be up, dressed, out and at my mother's 5 miles away in 20minutes) is when I'm minding Ted (youngest grandson) when I have to leave the house at 7.30am, then I get up about 6.30, get ready, have breakfast, go to their house and do most of my 'coming to' after DIL has gone to work - I always feel a bit 'dazed' though for a while LOL!

I hate it if I've asked John to wake me at a specific time coz I've got things to do and he thinks he's doing me a favour by leaving me a bit longer.

I'm sorry you got woken by the painter, that can be really irritating - especially as you were particularly tired last night! I slept quite well really. I didn't get to bed till about 10.30 and had to get up twice for the loo but apart from that ... then John brought me a coffee about 6.15 I think it was.

Sorry ... I've gone on a bit LOL! xx

I remember those days too well too, out of bed at 7am, quick wash, brush my teeth, and in the car by 7:20 grabbing a can of coke from the fridge and drinking it on the way to work. Not even a cuppa.

I couldnt do that now.

On my dayshift, I get up at 4:30 and leave at 05:30, thats enough time to shower, wash and blow dry my hair, and have 2 cups of tea. I always have everything else done the night before, work grub, pills etc........lol.

Jeez, that makes me sound ancient huh!

Ha Ha ... nah - just grown up ;) .... it's the 'coming to' time with me. I feel drugged until I've been able to come round - preferably with several cups of coffee!! xx

Having a good giggle at you two old farts ..hahaha....haha.....oh, I am going to get a wallop on Wed eh!!

I am saying it because I am the same! I need at least an hour in the morning...I get up at 6:30 and need the shower, hair washing, drying, straightening and my brekkie.....before I feel like I am normal! I dont have my coffee till I get into work and that is when I feel I "come into my own" then!! :8855::8855:

Years ago, I used to get up, and be out the door in at least 20 mins!! No way could I even contemplate that..in fact, if I didnt have an hour, I would then take 2 hours!!! I too need to ensure the OH lunch is prepared, and obviously mine now (never used to do mine), and clothes organised, etc!!!!

Oh, I also feed wee Marcie, our cat as well in the morning and sometimes even go to the allotment!

I tell you, us women are walking power houses!!!!!!!

Ah, sorry to hear you got woken up though Mary...hope you are able to stay awake tonight. I just take my hat off to you, Jan and Tanya for being able to work at night..I JUST couldnt do it at all!! Hope I never have to......

Wallop at the ready !!! ;) xx

:8855::8855:nah,,,your a pussy cat really Jan :)

Has your RC book arrived yet??

Old farts indeed, give er a wallop from me too Jan ;-)
