Dinkie Dawnies Dubious Diary of Downsizing, Deflation, and Debauchery

Good evening!

Now, I have a confession to make :sign0007:

On the way home from work, I got a text from my friend Frances who usually comes to sw with me. She said she couldn't make it tonight as her father was seriously ill and that she needed to support her mother He nearly died a few months ago after a massive stroke and has been bed bound and deteriorating ever since.

So, I had an attack of the "sod it" factor and decided not to go myself! I know it was naughty, and I can't remember ever not feeling like going, but I knew I would put on anyway, so I wagged it! :ashamed0005:

And not only did I skive off...I had some cake and I'm currently on my 2nd glass of wine! arty0036: Feeling very naughty lol!

I did go for a swim this morning with lovely Sarah though, so I must've worked one of those glasses off lol! And we're going tomorrow again too.

And we met for coffee too...but then she dumped me in favour of going into town :cry: But we nearly fixed a date to go out one night...I may be dinkier than I used to be but it's still difficult to squeeze me into her very busy diary! :sigh:

Right...off to sully some diaries...

Have to really behave myself this week and get back to being 100%

Todays been ok so far...doing an ee day. But tomorrow may prove difficult as I hav a school reunion. We have one every year for all years of the school and usually get around 150 old girls attend. But there will be food and wine on offer...
