Well hello 2013 !!! Woohoo !! Here we gooooo !!!!

Starting the first of my walking challenges today....and here it is....

Walking Philadelphia to Washington D.C this January !!! ( Not literally using a Pedometer to track the miles!! ) 142 miles !!! YAY !!!

Here's a few pics of my destination.....



All I need to do now is to get MOVING and smash through the miles !!!

Second walk of the year, this time I went out to a Creek Trail near me, a very bracing walk as it's 32 degrees here today, freezing !!! Took a few snaps before I froze, lol !!!

Sooooo pretty -- very cold, but dressed right and moving I guess it's not to bad. Did you know Illa is back? She posted a couple of stunning photos of her son.

Wow diva... Are these walks close to you? Or do you have to hop in the car to get there? Looks so nice x

This Creek trail is about seven minutes away in the car, I'm just super lucky to have some great organised trails and river systems on my doorstep. A lot of these trails were old railway lines too ( everything removed though ) so converted to trail walks, nice and straight in parts and usually hugging the river banks etc..... Very useful recycling IMHO !!!

I have bigger River Trails about five mins from the house ( by car ) and a huge NP too, super spoilt !! Hehe !!

Few more miles done , this time I was down by the big River Trail and it was 32 degrees again today, certainly clears the lungs !!!

Another walk done ! I expected to see more people out and about in the Park ( always busier in Jan and Feb due to New Year's resolutions !! Hehe ) and really all I saw was this little fella....
