DOING SW FROM HOME???

Yeah it can make your cells swell up. I'll try and reign it in a little, maybe it's why I go dizzy sometimes as I always have had loads. I went recently for a load of blood tests for pretty much everything and it all came back normal, so I know it's nothing serious.

I think I was just replacing eating with water yesterday so maybe I'll have more green tea rather than a bottle of water xx
 
Morning ladies

Arghh I was 100% yesterday until hubs came back from Tesco... I hate it when he deviates from the list and comes back with extras cause then I have to try them... I was good though and logged them on my fitnesspal, which then went crazy and told me by overeating at the same rate as I did I could expect to loose 14lb in 5 weeks :) I think the site went a little screwy there, either that all we're all doing this weight loss marlarky wrong lol

Anyway it wasn't too bad I was doing an EE and could easily have eaten the same amount of calories just not the same types of food ;) I'll make sure I'm good today might do a bbq tonight if I can buy one today lots of salad some fish, quorn burgers low fat sausage baby potatoes so it's pretty much SW friendly

Charl 6.5 litres god I'd be weeing for England if I drank that much, I need to definately drink more water, I drink lots of black decaff coffee and I've been told this counts as water but I'm not sure, I love water but keep forgetting to keep a full bottle by the sink where I can see it to remind myself

I used to love slimfast as it was so easy with no worrying about food but it really doesn't agree with me even with soya milk I get terrible headaches etc
 
I'm having green tea instead of the bottles of water today to try and cut back a bit, it's says 3.5litres max so I def need to reign it in. I'm just so thirsty which makes me think I should drink or I'll feel ill!

I think MFP is great as even when you deviate from SW and would normally be having a zillion syns you know cal wise you're still ok. I def prefer mixing the 2 things, ESP if your going out to dinner or something, and my losses were better this last month doing that (mix of sw and cal counting) than the 3 months previous so, it's about learning how your body works isn't it. It's what I've always struggled with. I love that I now know what I can and can't do to maintain. I've only had 1 gain of 1lb since I started as seem to have finally got the hang of u understanding balance. I'm hoping so much once I get to target i'll still know then :) xx
 
I wish I could understand my body and losses/gains etc. Hopped on the scales this morning and showing 1lb gain from the weekend which I'm not surprised about really. I know my body reacts much better to lots of exercise than dieting :-( blimin hard work. I suppose I thought I'd try sw 100% and not go mad with exercise but my body was obviously used to it so diet not really making a huge impact. Will stick with it for a few more weeks, as everyone says to 'trust the plan' but when do you start realising sw just isn't working?

Fridge is pretty bare, so just had 2 big fat grilled tomatoes, 2 big mushrooms, scrambled egg on ryvita, ha! Was actually really nice!

I felt like that about SW for ages too, until I started cal counting as well, so I'm learning more about portion control, I don't think there's ever been toooo much wrong with my diet apart from the odd day here and there but portions is my issue. And just eating as something is Superfree, so I can. It's stupid as calories are still calories and that's what puts weight on. I've realised I can't eat too much fruit either and my 5 a day usually now is veg which def works better for me.

Also don't get on the scales midweek! It's demoralising as its not too accurate, us women fluctuate like mad (or most of us do) so don't feel bad when there's plenty of time for it to change. Don't worry, we'll all get there :) xxx
 
Thank you hun! I don't normally do sneaky wi's, just curious cos of the weekend really. I think that was my problem last week, would have 2 alpen light bars every day (hex b) and muller lights as free but there's lots of calories in them. I used to snack on bread sticks and plain rice crackers (before sw) which are so much better, calorie wise, than some free foods but now don't have them. Uummmm, interesting!

I am bl**dy impatient, lol!!
 
Back again :) Last night was good, too tiring though so we left pretty early. On a clear fluid only diet today as I'm having my capsule endoscopy tomorrow. It is hard and I am so hungry - especially as my sister is sitting there enjoying a big fry up :p Drinking stock and lucozade, yum! Have to make sure I drink the full fat stuff with the sugar, cause my blood sugar gets way too low if I don't eat regularly. Hoping this kind of detox will make getting back on plan tomorrow a lot easier :) x
 
How is everyone this morning? Am feeling exhausted today. Ran sun, swam mon and ran yesterday so rest day today. Off to aldi as nothing in the house. Then in the garden with my boys.

Weigh day tomorrow and not looking forward to it. Feel like giving up on sw right now!

Anyhow, hope the sun is shining wherever you are!

Hi ladies

Urghh Wednesday WI day... seeing as my weight fluctuates between early and mid morning I'm waiting until 11am to WI officially then do a quick measurement check, I feel really bloated though so I know I'll have out on and not STS like I was hoping... had a lovely BBQ last night SW friendly apart from the wine, which I'm not going to even buy anymore it adds pointless syns, I didn't eat much during the day yesterday so I'm hoping it counteracts the syn deficit calorie wise ...

Off out tonight with a couple of freinds but I wish I could remember the name of the pub we are going to so I can check the menu, but they're bound to do chicken and sone kind of potato, so I'll have that...

Hope everyone is having a good day, no 30 day shred today as I have a strange ache all down my left arm (I get it from time to time) so I'll have a day off, taking the two youngest fishing in the nearby canal lunchtime and hope hubs will join us on lunchbreak altough I promised the kids he'd get them a KFC, the canal backs onto the KFC so they have benches etc overlooking the canal, they'll have snack boxes so I can't steal their chicken and I'll take a chicken salad,

I'm going to rub herbs and spices over some chicken wings, remove the skin and have them in a salad box with a diet coke from the KFC...
 
I love making homemade KFC chicken :) Want to try it using cous cous as the crust next time as apparently that makes it really crispy!!

That sounds cool! I guess you could make homemade chicken burgers the same way? Yum! Xx

Good luck :) I'm keeping things crossed for you, mainly my legs as all the water I'm drinking seems to be trying to escape!! Ha!!

Well done for being strong on the KFC, weird thing about dieting isn't it, I don't even like KFC yet I've wanted one for about a month after seeing an advert!!! Silly! I've persuaded my kids all that kind of food is super bad and will make them be dwarfs forever, so when we're out they want sushi packs and fruit pots! That was great for me as I could eat it too on SW. Now I hate it all! Trying really hard to explain this new diet to them, they think it's stupid I can't eat anything. They're right!

Yeah, I don't see why you couldn't make chicken burgers like that :) Just make sure the cous cous is cooked before you use it to 'bread' things - sounds silly, but some people have made the mistake and used it dry and got horrible rock hard things haha :p

Hi all I have had a great three days on plan. I have completely decided to go it alone and I have managed to stick to it okay. I really need to find some new recipes to add to our usual things. I work full time now so I need to prepare and cook it asap when I get in. Off to check the recipe boards in a minute.

The KFC chicken sounds lovely !
