BGT was brilliant wasn't it!! I really loved Lucky the contortionist!! Weird, but very innovative!!!!

I too have my monthly visitor (aka 'Aunt Flo', or as I used to call it 'Bonzo'!) so I'm with you on the hormonal angst!!!

Hey Donna - how did the team meeting go yesterday?

Week one of our 21lb challenge didnee go quite according to plan. But I am not totally surprised given my Oxo Tower and F&B meals. I have lost a pound which I am happy with, so 20lbs to go for me - I am set for 100% week this week as we have no plans. But even still I can never hope to pull a big number as ever since I started SW years ago, in have never managed anything bigger than 3.5lbs, not even in my first weeks. I am happy with 2lbs a week!

I hope you are alright lovey. When is your weigh in, today or tomorrow? Good luck mate - I hope you do better than me!!

2lb loss !!! Paul lost 2.5 lbs


the thing is I felt really let down by the scales - I have made my portions so small, cut back on my syns (albeit that hasn't been intentional). I have been so manic at work that I have had to skip breakfast and then havent eaten lunch til almost 3pm...so...come back from WI and had a binge

ANGRY I am such a bloody idiot! probably now sabotaged a 2lb loss next week.

Ladies - can I ask you - do my portion sizes look small? I have started to have my dinner on a sandwich plate which is really annoying Paul, I am really careful with my carbs (look at my pasta for lunch portion)

Be honest - are my portions acceptable? (bearing in mind I didn't get to 18stone eating small portions)

Anyway ___________________________________________

there's my line I am back on saintly side from this morning!

No treat for me today, treated this was week 1 day 1

just what i do, then feel so p****d off afterwards just draw that line (that i have to constantly draw lol) & stick with it one day shouldn't make that much difference if you stick to plan the rest of the week x

think if ur having meals on sandwich plate they r way too small, i would be starving x

Oh Honey!!! Right first things first - 2lb is a great loss - you arent going to have 4/5lb losses every week you know this already, weight loss tends to slow down and even out, and Donna you are not doing the right thing by eating less and having less syns - you know this isn't the way SW works - 2lb is the right amount to lose, you are still on track to lose your 21lbs, which is 2lb a week on average. Slowly slowly catchy Monkey.

Believe me I know how you feel, I remember one time I was at an SW class and I had had a perfect week and I had eaten smaller portions and less syns because I was sick of everyone else having huge losses, especially people who were smaller than me, that really burned me when 11 stoners would lose 4lb in a week without really trying and I would be stuck at 1 - 2lb. Anyway I had been so so good and was expecting to pull a 4 - 5lber out of the bag - anything that would make her ring the 3lb bell! I lost 2lb. I was so upset that I cried when it was my turn to talk! I was so embarassed afterwards! I gave up shortly after that. That was about 3 years ago and I have joined and re-joined two or three times since!

You are doing the right thing hun by getting back on the horse, please stick to the SW programme, have your syns and dont worry about the portions so much - you will feel much happier when, next week you lose say 2lb again, you will feel happy because you havent spent the week holding back on eating and over-thinking it.

Come on girl, look at your graph thingy, its totally going downwards - which is fantastic!

Rome wasn't built in a day, this extra weight we are all carrying didn't go on overnight so it isn't going to disappear without a fight! FIGHT THAT FAT!

Thank you Charley - I needed that pep talk. I am going to plan better this week, I know 2lb is a good loss but I just really thought I would get my 1stone shiny!!

Right so changes this week:

Breakfast- I am going to have my HEB so this week will be the 30g shreddies - I know I am in the minority but I dont do cereal however I like eating shreddies dry like crisps

Bigger portions!

Exercise: every night Meg and I are going to do 20 minutes Just Dance on the Wii plus our situps (I can do 40 now!!!) this week I invested in some handweights so I shall be using these to try and get rid of my huge boobs (that I hate with a passion!)

I really need to move more...so if anyone wants to share ideas on how they fit body magic in please let me know

so this week's motto:

Breakfast:
Natural Yogurt, Banana, Honey (2 tsp)
Lunch:
Ryvita (HEB), Tuna, Sweetcorn, Rocket, Cherry Tomatoes, Mayo (3), Yogurt, Pineapple & Melon
Dinner: Chinese Takeaway Mushroom Chow Mein (7) (flipping kids ate half of it but still counting as 7)
HEA: Milk
HEB: Ryvita
Syns: Honey (2), Mayo (3), Mushroom Chow Mein (7) = 12/15
