donnajt said:Is anyone watching secret eaters on channel 4
Work has been manic - but that's probably because I had to take today off emergency as we've had no hot water - hence the reason I couldn't post my armpits were too stinky LOL!!! :8855::giggle:I got it on record, any good? I reckon it is going to be very close to home for me...
Glad you enjoyed the spag carb, I must buy some more phili!
Have you had a good day at work Donna?
Its weigh in for me tomorrow morning, I have been really good, apart from the naughty nibbles. I an secretly hoping for 3 but I would be happy with 2. Xxx
MMM...could be the red pesto you used - you could add a bit of tomato puree to disguise the creme fraiche (I must admit I love the taste of creme fraiche), the spaghetti shouldn't really make a difference - try less creme fraiche (use extra pasta water if its dry) and a bit of tom puree - you could make the creme fraiche/red pesto in a bowl first and add until you get the right taste for you - let me know how you get on - sorry to hear it was disappointing x :sigh:Hey Donna,
Hope you are ok?
I made the stroppy fellow pasta tonight and followed the recipe but mine seemed to be quite sour, do you think maybe I need more pesto and less creme fraiche? I also made it with spaghetti do you think it would be better made with normal pasta? Hoping you can advise as you are a master chef!! Hehe x
Oh....what goodies have you bought?Just spent hours doing tesco shop.......on-line!!
I loved it - I must admit I didn't think she looked much slimmer at the end of it (just more glammed up with glasses removed). I used to eat like that - crisps I could never stop at one but I must admit I would choose to forget to the 2,3 and 4th bag...but would I have subjected myself to the cameras....hell no -I wasn't that forgetfulOh my god, I watched Secret Eaters late last night. All I can say is that woman was in complete denial about what she was eating wasn't she? I have to say though I can't believe that she ONLY weighed 13 some stones with the stuff she put away, she made ME feel saintly! Don't get mw wrong, when I go...I go and it's eat or be eaten with me, but I am totally aware of what I eat, she was oblivious. What did you think of it Donna? I liked the piece about snacking, when we go to the pics o HAVE to have large salted popcorn, why? I don't sit at home and watch a film on TV with an endless bucket of popcorn!
I lost 2lb this week which I was expecting but, as with us all, I wanted more! Hey ho, it's a well deserved 2lb. When is your weigh love?
X

Your spag bol is beautiful!! I had no plain philly so I had to use the garlic and herb but it was delish, i ate every last bit and couldn't move for hours after
"I am so glad that you liked it, it's good with chorizo right? I bet it's the ball bags with garlic & herb phili too, I may give that a go myself!"

I thought the whole eating with the left hand interesting - am gonna try this with a bag of crisps tomorrow (to make them feel like a family bag) if I have a loss tomorrow
Thankfully I don't do popcorn and am quite good a packing grapes if i go cinema...not that they taste as good as the chocolate brazils on the pick n mix stand
2LBS WELL DONE YOU BEAUTY AM SO PROUD OF YOU !!!

That sounds heavenly - but stop it - making me add syns to my free bolognese lol!Humuna humuna to that chorizo pasta, I j'adore chorizo and pasta together, it's like a match made in heaven!! Have you ever chopped it into a spag Bol? Corblimey, love a duck it's so good! Don't add it until the end so the chopped up bits stay whole and firm.
CHARLEY - STOP PUNISHING YOURSELF - YOU HAVE LOST 3LB IN 2 WEEKS THE ONLY WAY IS UP! AND AS OASIS SAY...DON'T LOOK BACK IN ANGER....FOCUS ON THE NOW NOT THE YESTERDAYSI didn't think she looked much different either TBH. Crisps are my guilty pleasure too, usually when I am on plan I have to go cold turkey (hmm cold turkey!) on crisps as, like you I can stop at one. When I lived alone (or when Mick was out) I would buy 6 packets of puffy type crisps like beef space invaders and wheat crunches and bacon fries etc and put them all in one huge bowl and mixed them up and would sit there watching tv eating a big baguette and munching the afternoon away on the big bowl of mixed crisps! Oh the shame! But not once have I ever questioned how I got this big.... But I admit I often wonder about why some people aren't bigger, like that woman last night.
Thanks hun, thats half a stone for me, I should have lost three times that in ten weeks really, but I have only been seriously doing it for 4 weeks so I am not going to grumble.
So your weigh is tomorrow? How are you feeling about it?
I am sending out good vibes and wishes that you get a good loss tomorrow, we are going to smash that challenge Donna!
Have a good evening love. Ps I am glad you got your smelly pits cleaned, I could smell them from Thurrock!!!!
Xxxx
Hi Loundy - I think I used the red pesto, def try mixing it together to get the taste you want - and use the pasta water for liquid - let me know how you got on - if you like chorizo - my dinner last night is so quick and easy and delish!I used Asda red pesto which has been in fridge for a while haha! I usually love creme fraiche too, don't know what I did Thanks for the tips though, I will defo give it another go! Thanks hun x
That sounds heavenly - but stop it - making me add syns to my free bolognese lol! LOL - I am not trying to encourage you - only if you have the spare syns!!! Its a treat for a taste sensation. Mick doesn't like chorizo (he clearly has no taste!) so I add 2.5 syns worth in mine at the end.
CHARLEY - STOP PUNISHING YOURSELF - YOU HAVE LOST 3LB IN 2 WEEKS THE ONLY WAY IS UP! AND AS OASIS SAY...DON'T LOOK BACK IN ANGER....FOCUS ON THE NOW NOT THE YESTERDAYS - Thanks Donna, I know, I always do my beating up afterwards, never before or during - I guess I would be 9 stone if I did!!!!!!! I am really happy I am in the next stone zone though, I never want to see 18s again.
LOL at your crisp bowl - I wouldn't have mixed them all together - just gone thru 24 packs very easily esp salt and vinegar and then wake up the next morning with a white coating on my tongue that used to peel off over the course of the day .... revolting! - This made me laugh on the train this morning when I read this - although our old bad habits shouldn't really be funny, you have to look back and laugh - S&V crisps would make my tongue bleed! The worst part about my variety crisp bowl was hiding the evidence, I have an ingenious way of folding them into a triangle, then you can dispose of them in other things in the bin, like coke cans! I have a question, do you believe in a 'food addiction' ? I never used to, I thought it was just me being greedy. But I believe it now, I truly do. The behaviour I sometimes exhibit makes me think I have an addiction to food. I was talking to a friend of mine at work the other day and she is a smoker, an addicted who over the years has given up and re-started. She admitted to me that in a very low time when she was trying to give up and she was desparate, she would pick butts up from the street and smoke them rather than go into a shop and buy some, thereby admitting failure. I could relate to that, in my low times when I have been bad and then decided to chuck my naughty food away, only to later retrieve that food from the bin and eat it. It made me realise that I had a very unhealthy relationship with food - perhaps addiction.
Well done on your 1/2 stone shiney - 3 weeks time that will be your 1 stone shiney - we are onto good things my lovely - we should meet up and go walking or something. I would love to meet up and go out walking or something, we live very close to one another. We should find a good date.
W E I G H D A Y ! ! ! ! !
:vibes:WISH ME LUCK :vibes:
