so true. my kids are both away to school now, so the non sensical chatting has ended! i remember going show shopping with my little girl when she was 3 for shoes for me, and I ended up with nothing for me, but she managed to talk me into getting her shoes!

I'm probably not! I'm 27 1/2, and have already been married 10 1/2 years (i was very young), and my kids are 6 & 7!

your diary is fab and so inspirational. Im gonna have to borrow my mums hairy bikers book so i can get some inspiration. How do you fit all the walking in with 2 young kids. Mine are 1 & 3 so its a bit manic.
Im glad i found someone who live in flip flops also i have about 8 pairs lol.
Ill definately be watching your meals they are so nice.

crickey I only have 12 weigh ins until my holiday!!!

That's funny on the way home from school Emily was telling me theirs only 12 weeks left at school so I started adding the weeks up lol Your look amazing by then! Also having skinny friends/family is extra motivation to stick to plan!

Are you still do the toning beds? I'm sure they really help :)

Sarah- I love my flip flops need to invest into some new one's :) their ideal when running around after lo's got 3 and 1 yr old too x

Thanks Sarah - that's really kind - in 7 weeks time - someone will be saying the same thing to go - Cas, Debs, Erin, Aaleigha etc are the ladies that inspired me when I first started (I'm sorry if I forgot anyone, you know what my memory is like I got lost on the way to a nearby park yesterday!). I have years of practice in "diet" meals so just to adjust our dinners so that we can all eat the same - tonight was supposed to be chicken but we were running late so we had burgers and chips - will use the chicken tomorrow is paul doesn't eat it all - he'd better not its a xlarge one!

As for walking - well I dont drive so that has a lot to do with it - but I am lazy and always find a lift or a bus or a taxi - I just started to force myself to walk a bit more - would highly recommend Leslie Sansone (you can find her 1 mile walk on utube) its 14mins long - take the kiddies to the park - walk to and from school, now the weather is nice - put on your most comfy flip flops and go for it

Hi Fat-Harrie - I only work 3 days a week (and I have been home on sick leave since New Year) - I am a fishing widow one day a weekend so now the weather has changed for the better I walk to the park - I must admit i love it now and feel cooped up if we don't get out, set your watch 30 mins early so you arrive on time lol!

Will be back on the toning tables next week when Mum is back from Cuba - am missing them - will hopefully get one in this weekend when Paul is around

As for flip flops - Systema posted a link to Croc toning flipflops - I am so getting myself a pair!

Hi Lady Jo - its amazing the low cal foods that you forget you love so much isnt it - I've just made myself a delicious coronation chicken salad - its so tasty and such a lovely summer dish

I'm fine - it all went ok

Ladies - thank you so much for caring - and such lovely comments - I read them in the early hours of this morning when I was stressing myself about my return to work and they really gave me confidence that I could face the day. I wouldn't be wehre I was today without you inspiring me and cheering me on - I feel so blessed that our paths have crossed..so thank you for the last 7.5 weeks and here's to a lifetime of calorie counting friendship xxx

So coldsore back on my mouth - took me weeks to get rid of a matter of hours to come back - excema starting around my nose again and got really sore inflammed gums..what a pretty picture lol!!!

My manager is lovely and I got loads of stuff off my chest that i needed to tell - I have two options - I can stay where I am or I can move, but it will mean a change to my work hours - i.e. I would have to work 5 days but mornings only - not sure how I feel about that!

So that's one day over - we have figured a strategy or how I am going to cope at work, so glad that's over, I saw a few tenants and they had decorated my office with Welcome Back Donna banners and there was loads of cards and flowers for me

So rather than trying to pick up where I left off - next week I am only in tues/thurs morning and my task is to clear my emails and get up to speed with the latest program of works and then the following week i will shadow two of my colleagues and then the third week i will start working alone (if I am ready). So its a blank piece of paper - no history only future - sounds good on paper lol! Feel a lot happier and calmer but maybe that's because I haven't got to go to work for another 4 days lol!!!

I am trying to type this and eat my yummy lunch..right am going to read a few of your diaries xxxx
 
glad all went well for you going back to work. sounds like your manager is really helpful and friendly. enjoy the rest of your day :)
 
Pesky coldsores - I get them really bad too so feel your pain!

I'm glad everything went well and that your work are being so supportive. Definitely no point in looking backwards just focus on each day as it comes and remember you are in control!!

Totally trying that coronation chicken recipe! x
