Lovely days there Donnie, don't just wish though that we could have gravy free!:cry:I hate using syns on it but I just can't eat dry dinners for love nor money.

I don't have much gravy CG, I just like a drizzle on my meat and potatoes - but it would not be the same without it, and it would be grand to have a syn free gravy......we can hope. X

Wish I could do just a drizzle Donnie, but unfortunately I like a really good slug on my dinner especialy the tatties and it has to be Bisto, stock cubes just hit the spot for me lol.

Menu looks fab today hun, what are the river cobble fish, I've never heard of them?
 
It was the first time that we had had River Cobbler CG.

The fillets were skinless, white, thick and they cooked really well, but unfortunately there was not a lot of taste in them.

So I think I will only buy them for a fish pie or a fish curry in future, they would be ideal for that because they would be chunky pieces and they wouldn't break up - but it definately needs something to give it some 'taste'......

Two lovely yummy days there Donnie, well done. Sorry the fish didn't reach expectations but as you say pies and curries should be fine for it. That fish pie I made Saturday was goooooorgeous and had a lot of flavour in it. The bit of grated smoked cheese on top of the potatoe worked really well too and was worth the syns for the flavour.
