Don't you just hate it when....

DYJHIW someone always spells a word wrong and it's never the same way twice!

I don't really hate it, It just makes my spelling OCD go into one! So far for the word Cauliflower we have had...
Coliflour
Califlor
Coaliflour
Coleflour
Colaflour

I mean!!!!! Pick one and stick lol!

Dyjhiw your computer decides to not start working and your OH who is a f**king computer genius is more interested in his bloody computer game than to try and help fix yours so you actually have something to do?? I WOULD watch a DVD but HE is using the tv to stream his game through and he broke the other one. I'm absolutely fuming - I know it may sound stupid but I have NOTHING else to do.

That p**sed off I'm going to bloody bed.

DYJHIW you just wish it was bedtime so you can begin the new SW week afresh!

Minky, go and turn the router off...that'll sort the problem :D

I think world war 3 would break out if I did! I'm calmer now although still ratty. I think being hungry is the only thing stopping me from actually going to sleep. And then that gets my back up because the OH knows I'll get back up, cook us a nice big dinner and he won't have to do anything but eat it when he's ready. Like last night, I cooked it ready for when he was...at 11:05 last night! Didn't finish eating until nearly midnight :(

Men!

DYJHIW - your OH and DS come in drunk, carry on drinking when they get home, then decide not to tell you that they have drunk all your vodka " yes the expensive one you got as a present for your 50th"

I was fuming - they kept saying we will get you another - totally missing the point that it was MY present

I use it too , I wouldnt feel comfortable calling someone babycakes or tickle my fancy lol and welshtigger is right you dont always know the persons name

Do you mean you don't know how to access therapy/counselling? Usually you can get referred by your GP.

It's not the GP who's told me-apparently all my problems have been brought on by me-and the only way I can fix things is by getting therapy, but I don't even know what kind, or if anyone can help me :(

DYJHIW everyone is in bed (which isnt unusual at this time of night in my house) and your bored and not tired. There is nothing on tv

Paint your nails, read a book, enjoy the silence, plan Christmas gift shopping, treat yourself to something new (buy online) whether it's big or small, put together a bucket list, have a cuppa and a biscuit and flick through a mag.... So many things to do when you have a quiet 5 :) xx

DYJHIW you wonder where all the years have gone? 9 years ago today I lost my wee granny <3 Literally the most special person in my life (with my mum) she and my granda <3 helped bring me up as my mum was a single parent and I miss her everyday. Shall be thinking of her today though with a BIG smile on my face due to all the amazing memories she has given me. <3

It's frightening, isn't it. I'm lucky enough to still have my Nan's (both in their 90s now) but we lost my Grandpa 3 years ago in January and I still miss him terribly. He was my inspiration. Lots of love to you and I shall raise a glass to your Granny later xx

Dyjhiw you are hungover and up at 8 on a Sunday morning to go to sons footie match. Also when you need to get back on plan and aren't feeling prepared bleurrrgggghhhhh

Welshtigger sounds like you had a rough night and maybe the person who told you you need therapy isn't qualified to diagnose and if they think you do need therapy then saying Gps is a good place to start or if you can afford private then research onlne etc for someone to help.

Thanks Emsie-I've got several issues that keep recurring, altho I think they're triggered by stuff that's happened in the past! There is a guy locally who does 'mind focus' workshops so thinking of maybe contacting him to see if he can help-I dunno :( it's affecting all areas of my life now
