My OH just did something similar, reversing out a car park and caught the mirror on a concrete post and broke the whole thing ( the mirror not the post! Lol)

yeh it sucks. He was off to work an forgot to put bin out so reversed but didnt turn never mind car been fixed as i speak & bank balance going to be robbed lol
