Dukan ? hope so!

Another good dukan day today, got a date with Davina at 7 in the conservatory lol. Made a huge chilli last night had rest of lunch today with muffins and a ff yogurt, sooo filling. Started with the chicken for dinner this evening with a bit of asparagus.

The weeks are flying by Fridays come around so fast, dont think im going to be at TW by October, but im ok with that, ive come down 2 dress sizes and have changed my eating habits for the better, just need to get my head around the fitness and exercise programme now. x

Evening folks!! When I saw Rocky Hirror in Leicester I was shocked at some of the outfits the blokes wore, but I thought it was fab and soooo much fun!! My friend kept shouting out during the show, I was shushing her, next time I'll know what to expect and just enjoy it.

It's astounding ... ;)

Scales are showing 2lbs off this morning, must be the Davina workouts this week and the walking thats getting things moving again.

Yesterday we decided to have a trip out to North Wales to the Abahkan fabric place, OH wants to make a back drop for photos shoots. Its a fab place to go they have all manor of crafts and hobby stuff there and a fab cafe that do carvery meals. Had turkey dinner there and i must confess we had a tea and scone afterwards. We walked around looking at rolls and rolls of material until he decided that they were not wide enough for what he wanted. Hey ho, nice day out tho!

We went to our local town shops, i ended up buying the most ridiculously high red patent stilletoes, they are quite comfy to be honest, certainly improve your posture when having to walk, god knows when i'll wear them though lol i just like looking at them, really strange as im not usually into shoes, its usually handbags i go for, saw a few of those too yesterday but had to resist, my will power is amazing, i shock myself lol.
 
I've a pair of very unsensible shoes but even if you cook lunch in them doesn't matter xxx and a2lb loss great C xxx
 
Hey Collette! Great to hear you're having some good times after some tough times, fab weight loss these last 2 weeks, you'll be under 13 in no time! I resisted a pair of killer red heels a while back...you're making me regret it! Jx
 
i love my killer heels ...sadly they dont love my feet and i usually have to whip a pair of flats out my bag lol

Still having a good time with the Dukan plan food choices have been ok lots of chicken for dinner today and for tea this evening i made S&S chicken with the diet tango, really nice. Chicken out for defrosting for tomorrows PP day.

Bit of a heated discussion in work yesterday about Dukan. One colleague told me that that Dukan diet is bad for you and there was an article in the Daily Telegraph all about how its voted the worse diet and that somebody nearly died and that Dr D had been struck off. So had to have a read of it if anyone is interested you can access the article online. So im sitting there trying to eat my lovely chicken curry for lunch and all of a sudden im surrounded by Dukan experts who say that i shouldnt be eating all that protein ill get kidney/gall stones etc etc i should be eating carbs as our body need carbs to function properly, felt telling them to go forth and multiply, if you get my drift. Why do people do this? i can honestly say i am eating more healthily now than i have since i was a kid, no processed food, lots of home cooking, ok no fruit or carbs but i am having different veggies and salad stuff that contain carbs. Its not as if im making them join me!

My weight is on a downwards trend and its slow, i have a lot to lose and it isnt going to come off overnight but im in no rush as long as it continues to reduce i will be happy i dont want to become obsessed with food or with the numbers on the scales or put a time limit on the TW. I need lots of time to develop a new way of eating, i could so easily succumb to the calling of Cadbury and mr kipling, so as i told my colleagues ill just carry on with what im doing and they can keep their opinions and misinformation to themselves!!
