Hi guys feeling much better thanks

Painkillers worked and I fell asleep but then I woke at 4am with spinning sick stomach, my own fault for only having one pack! Made another one when I woke and got back to sleep around 0630, not too bad today painful but much more manageable :)
Had a GREAT day yesterday, was well enough to get out if the house yesterday (sadly this is a big deal for me at the moment as I'm mostly housebound) got to the shops to get some stuff for the house. We're on the market at the moment so really trying hard to get a sale. Also saw my mum who didn't know I was on this diet who said she thought I'd lost lots already :D her dog was poking my belly with it's nose and she said "Uno don't do that it's rude, it's already loads smaller!" So I was well chuffed, told them (parents) I was back on the dust they were very impressed so generally a good day all round (pain and sickness I can deal with) :)
Day 7 here I am ;)
 
Brilliant to see your getting out and excellent compliment to spur you on! Weigh in tomorrow!!! Eeeeek! Well done on pushing through such a difficult week. If you can do that you can do anything xxx
 
Carly, it's admirable that you do so well. I can't wait to see ho much you've lost tomorrow. It's great when psople comment on your weight loss, isn't it!

Ok guys need your advice here

I'm thinking of not weighing tomorrow, well I was actually thinking of weighing and getting hubby to write it down and not tell me.

The main reason is I can't see the number on the scales making me happy. Unless I've lost 16lbs lmao.

I'm plodding along quite well at the moment without weighing and I can't see myself being happy with what it'll say but I can see it making me disheartened if it's lower than expected.

So thinking that weighing will have a neutral or negative impact I'm thinking just don't bother and carry on until I know it'll be Motrin the ballpark that I'll be happy with?!?

What do you think?
 
No weighing is a fab idea, if your in a place where you don't need to know then I'd say don't. Save it for a day your struggling to weigh the next day. It'll see you through the food thoughts. The longer you go without weighing the bigger the reward when you do eventually weigh and that'll feel amazing! Xxx
 
Can't really advise on that one DQ. I'm a serial weigher and so am quite obsessive about it. I also do lists, set challenges and have to have all sorts of ways of keeping track and measuring successes. The other thing for me is that any loss is brilliant. If you feel that you will be too disappointed not to have an absolutely massive loss which 16lb is then keep going until you know your loss will be huge!

Hi DQ Carrie is right I would try the no WI I am doing that until the 20th of February as the scales really messes with my head and cause me to fall off the wagon especially if I don't get the loss I was expecting - it will be a wonderful surprise for you the longer you wait not to weigh. You really seem in the zone it's fab - I'm so chuffed your parents commented on your weight loss well done x

Oh I'm never going to get 16 my best ever was 10. When I get lower I'll appreciate any loss but at the moment I need to lose so much that it seems a bit impossible

Looks like it's going to be a case of hiding those scales DQ! Sounds like that is the best option for you.
