Eat, Sleep, Weigh, Repeat'

The minestrone was really good! I will make it at home now.

I'm still a bit sniffly today but luckily I get one Friday off a month and I'm so pleased it's this one!

I weighed in today at 9.0 1/2. So lost a lb yey!
Overall I'm feeling a lot slimmer just by really watching what I eat. And counting syns again!

Today's food is

Breakfast- banana and apple

Lunch- homemade tomato soup with hexb bread.

Tea- beef and leftover veg ( cauliflower, pepper, mushroom, sugar snap peas and onion) curry. With sweet Potato maybe. Or just call big bowl of just curry!
 
It's going great! Thank you. The actual job is good. But I have to drive there and back twice a day which is taking its toll...more on fuel money. I worked it out as driving 16 miles a day. I'm thinking possibly on a Friday do one of the trips on push bike. But I will need to buy one. If only we lived closer!!!

I bought a new bike today. A foldable mountain bike! I'm going to try cycle one of my journeys to work to save on fuel money. It's costing a fortune!
And hopefully get fitter!
I'm going to look for padded shorts when I get paid for under my trousers.

Today's food

Breakfast- frittata, bacon and beetroot

Lunch- macaroni cheese (3 syn) and veg

Tea- sweet burgers , chips and salad.

Rick is at a friends overnight so I have a friend over for tea. I will be on the red stuff and we have a box of malteasers for later on but I don't think it's tooo bad for a Saturday night!
 
Think I drank far too much wine last night! I ended up making a den in my front room so I could sleep with my dog , and sister in laws dog. Syns today domt count. I've already ordered hubby to grav a McDonald's on the way home
feeling fragile!

Great idea i wouldnt be without my blender and although its classed a cheat i never count syns on my smoothies either.
Hope you get on well with riding to work. Thst will make a big difference in the way you feel after a few trips.
I need to get back on my bike havent sat on it since June so all that learning to ride a bike is probably forgotten again. I'll be back to having bruises everywhere.... dont feel brave enough actually.
Im not doing my c25k as my garage (where the gym is) is a mess where hubbys enlarging the kitchen. I dont get to run it outside as i have no "me" time to leave the kids indoors alone....

Everyone is welcome to moan on my thread. I moan all the time!
What blender do you have? I'm thinking of one of those mix and go ones? However I'm not liking the idea of using myhexa on milk every time? Is there anything else I could use instead without using sugary juice? I was thinking those sparkling flavoured waters with no added sugar?

I'm never hungry when I wake up so thought of a smoothie at 7 am then fruit or boiled eggs/ frittata around 9-10 am

I feel crappie today. Weekend full of naughties. And a cold/ flu head.

I have today off but my alarms are set for 5.30 for the rest of the week :( boo

Had a big cooking sesh this morning. Chicken and veg curry, pasta, Quorn sausages , boiled eggs. So no excuses to be bad this week!

Off to get back in my pj's and rest :(
 
Have a rest today. Ive just got a normall breville blender part of my mixer set. Cheap from argos but does the job great. I never use juices water and sometimes sugar free squash. X

Here's my five favourites I make if having the yoghurt one don't leave it to set too long it looks yuck!

1 large courgette
2 cups spinach
blueberries
melon
1 cup of s/f vimto

2 cups spinach
2 cups water
mango
melon (watermelon is really nice with this but any is good)

1 0% activia vanilla
2 cups spinach
strawberries
1 banana
1 tablespoon grated ginger, to taste

2 cups spinach
1 cup water
[SUP]1[/SUP]⁄[SUB]4[/SUB] cup s/f orange squash
strawberries
blueberries
2 bananas

2 cups spinach
2 cups water
pineapple
mango
2 bananas

Don't blame me if you don't like them its just what I've made up in the past and loved!!
 
They all sound yummy! Thank you for those. I've been looking at recipes on YouTube and definitely going to buy a blender!.... to go with my juicer, soup maker, slow cooker, coffee machine lol
 
Morning!! 4 days of 5.30 am starts this week. Not good!!

Today's food
Breakfast- two boiled eggs

Mid morning- fruit

Lunch beetroot salad, alpen bar hexb.

Snack- fruit ( I have an apple, banana and clementine with me)

tea- chicken and veg. Just an easy tea today! The chicken is 1 syn as it's marinated bbq.

Working till 4 pm today so nice early finish! :)
 
I'm in bed by 9 pm though! Lol although past two nights I've not slept great.
I was going to bike to work today..
But I didn't realise how dark it was at 6.10 when I had to leave! I use a cycle path which is unlit so I was a bit wary about cycling as I don't have bike lights. I will bike tomorrow on my second work journey as it will be light then :)
