eee look another food diary!

I got loads of work done yesterday, so spent this morning writing up my plan, and going to start writing in a minute, I hope I've done enough to make the words flow easily, I always spend ages planning and researching so by the time I come to write, I already know pretty much where I'm going, so then don't have that horrible anxiety of where the hell am I going with this essay! Although I say that but at some points it always seems to come back, and I just get lost! I have until friday at 4 still though, so the fact I'm even trying to write with 5 days to go is good for me! I've found myself getting really emotionally involved with the topic though, and its made me really sad. I started the day with not 1, but 2 galaxy flutes, its gonna be a bad food day I think!!

EE DAY : Monday

Breakfast : 2 galaxy flute bars (11 syns) Salmon, bread, flora x light (1.5syns) lemon. 3 teas w/milk (hexA) Apple.

Lunch : Not sure, chilli supernoodles with veg added probably (courgette, mushroom, tomato)

Dinner : SW chicken (ragu, peppers, mushrooms)thing bf is making, roast potatoes, watercress salad.

Drinks : Water, green tea, tea.

Total Syns : 12.5

Finally got my head around academic writing I think. So even though I've planned my essay I'm ignoring it now and doing something different. 4 days til hand in and I wanted it finished by thursday morning really. Food wise went to the shop and saw these florentine biscuit things, they looked lush, in gonna count them as my full 15 for day as no idea of syns I just had 1. Bf is cooking all this week so I can focus on work which is canny.

EE DAY : Tuesday

Breakfast : bacon, 2 'fried' eggs, grilled flat mushroom and tomato. Pear

Snack : smoked salmon

Lunch : chilli low fat supernoodles, sweetcorn, tomato, mushroom, mixed leaves. Apple

Dinner : SW rogan josh (chopped tomato, carrots, runner beans, garlic, onion), basmati rice, Indian salad, chappati (hexB)

Drinks : water, tea w/milk (hexA) green tea

TOTAL SYNS : way waaaaay too many to even count (which i couldn't if i wanted to due to lack of nutritional info on packet! -maybe a good thing!)

Oh god, knew I shouldn't have bought the Florentines.. Packet gone :( probs my whole week of syns. Aaaahhh. Oh wellll
 
Did u get your essay in? I'm researching at the moment my deadline for one is next fri! So stressed never written a 5,000 essay before (except for 10,000 dis)

Hey it's in on Friday and I'm really struggling, I know exactly what I want to say in my head but it's just not converting into words well argh! It's taken me 2 days to write 700 words and they aren't even that good! X
 
Food wise, I'm gonna be super good today, no syns at all to try and counter yesterdays awful binge! Writing a bit more, and I'm gonna go back to my original plan a bit more as trying to get the words out is annoying me as I just don't seem to be getting anywhere. I am feeling more productive however, and want to get my first draft finished today, so I can just work on re-wording/editing tomorrow and friday morning.

EE DAY - Wednesday

Breakfast : Salmon, SW hash browns, poached eggs. (I really need to start having SF at breakfast I'm so bad for not)

Lunch : Superfree soup, it soooooo nice! (carrot, swede, parsnips, tomato, leeks, garlic, BNS) Just going to snack on this again later if I get hungry.

Snack : banana, apple,half galaxy flute (2.5 syns) Ryvita (HexB)

Dinner : lamb steaks, veg (courgette, sweetcorn, peppers) cous cous, roast potato cubes with garlic and rosemary. carrot, tomato, cucumber, red onion salad. Pear

Drinks : Skinny latte (hexA) water, coke zero.

Total Syns : 2.5

Hadn't weighed myself for 2 weeks and was at the pool with the kids so thought I really should. I haven't had a particularly good 2 weeks but lost 1lb. Woo!
 
Got a large chunk of my first draft finished last night, still need to write conclusion and intro then spend the rest of today editing and re-working, I don't even know if what I wrote yesterday was any good! Going to try having another day of eating really well, had a stupid arguement with bf this morning, he just doesn't seem to get how stressed I feel trying to make sense of this work and deal with the kids, I just needed more sleep, i've tried to be really prepared but have still struggled with writing the actual essay itself. I think I've been too focused on my first draft being brilliant, whereas really I should just get everything down I want to say and keep re-working once the main body of the essay is there? I dunno I've never really been particularly academic until now, and am struggling to find what best suits me, its been 12 years since I was at school so its hard! Anyway.. blah blah ramble..

: Thursday

Breakfast : linda McC red onion and rosemary sausages, 2 poached eggs, 2 grilled tomatoes, flat mushroom. Melon


ARGH! My mam brought round shortbread had 1.. Checked cals bloody 9 syns!!! One biscuit 9 syns! Arggghhhh

Lunch : Super free soup (carrot, swede, parsnip, tomato, BNS, leeks, garlic) Some SW cheese scones. (hexA)

Dinner : riso gallo porcini risotto, added quorn, mushroom, watercress and cherry tomato. Parmesan (hexA)

Drinks : coffee w/milk (hexA) green tea, water.

TOTAL SYNS : 9

Strange isn't it. I take into consideration every day how hard he works but the times when I'm stressed I just need help to be there without having to ask for it all the time. I wish it was over Friday, I have another to do or Wednesday, then I'm done. Really worried About the other one as I didn't go to many of the lectures and don't really like the module. How's your research going today? X
 
Not really done any yet! Have a important meeting at 12.30 so may wait until after lunch ! Really need to start writing on word I think
It's easier for me to just research any particular quotes etc after but I need something on paper now I'll never get anywhere else! This has to be in next fri then presentation, book review and research proposal the week after last deadline 31st! Behind with two weekly tasks too that need wrapping up before the end!

I have now come to relise with men it's mostly not intential they just think different they are from mars needs to be excepted ;) doesn't hurt any less though :/
 
You're totally right, I think women just get on with things when they need to be done but guys just don't see the stuff that needs to be done: funny gender roles really!!

I've had an unproductive day, finished writing this morning but need to redraft and edit, I fell asleep instead and have done nothing, late night for me! Xx
 
Oh god I feel absolutely HUGE today, so bloated and sluggish. Awful. I totally cheated last night and had 2 beer Shandys after I finished my essay, I think they were deserved so it's ok. couldn't get to sleep til 5 this morning though so feeling all groggy too.

EE DAY - Friday

Breakfast : mini weetabix (hexB) w/milk (hexA)

Lunch : supernoodles, mixed leaves, courgette, mushroom, quorn. Some salmon, galaxy flutes

Snack : Cold beef

Dinner : SW puttanesca, fillet steak, watercress, red onion and cherry tomato salad. Bf bought this nice bread too. Argh. Probs about 8 syns. Banana

Drinks : water, green tea

TOTAL SYNS : 15

Weekend totally off plan, haven't eaten anything insanely bad, just wasn't doing SW at all. Also drank loads of booze, so much I was being sick :( off drinking now for quite a while I hate being hung over. Back on plan tomorrow though :) x
 
Oh dear indeed! Had a massive Vietnamese last night too it was lovely! And pretty sure it's not high syns wise. Need to write today and can't be bothered, gonna have a chill day and see my kids after school then try and do my plan and write the first 500 words tonight. Hand in Wednesday. Eek!

Lunch : Vietnamese noodle soup. stock, rice noodles, pork, beansprouts and mint

Snack : 4 chicken nuggets (7syns)

Dinner : Moroccan meatballs (onion, passata, garlic, tomato), lemon cous cous, pitta bread (hexB) salad

Drinks : water, tea w/milk (hexA)

Total syns : 7

Another day off plan! Suffering from some pretty awful insomnia at the mo. trying to work and failing as I haven't slept. 2 hours in 38 hours this is horrible. I think I'm just stressed about work I usually get this when I'm worried and anxious, if I don't get my work done tomorrow it's not good hand in is 4pm and I have 400 words done :( patchy referencing and no full ref list done yet. Scarily close to deadline
 
UNI IS DONE FOR THE YEAR!!! Hurrah. I started the day with a cheesecake so hugely off plan again! Proper food wise I'm sticking to it tho! I think I've had 7 hours sleep in 2 and a half days. So so tired!

Breakfast : loads of tea and coffee and a piece of cheesecake (hexA)

Lunch : risotto, added quorn, mushrooms, pea shoots, spinach and peas. HexA parmesan.

Snack : apple

Dinner : lemon and garlic roast chicken. Roast potatoes, salad, asparagus, roast cherry tomato, banana

Hope your sleep pattern gets sorted soon it's horrible you feel so rank and spaced out. Cheesecake sounds like a valid form of celebration to me :-D x
