Happily down to 13st4.2 today, and considering it was .8 last Friday for WI I'm happy. Been more strict with the cal counting too, so SW principles but eating around 12-1300 cals a day. Alternating red and green seems to be doing the trick too :)

Breakfast - small wmeal toast (hexB), x3 bacon medallions, 2 poached eggs.

Snack- 2 quorn sausages (2syns) banana, options (2syns)

Lunch : asda chicken skewers

Dinner - pork, sage and apple burgers (hexB) SW coleslaw, Caramelised onions. Cheese inside burger (hexA) 1syn sugar. Cadbury buttons (8.5syns)

TOTAL SYNS - 12.5

Exercise : walked 2.5miles

Feeling a little bloat again this morning, probably because I had quite a heavy dinner though I guess. Burgers and bloat go hand in hand even if they are SW burgers! Roll on having a big poop! haha, sorry! Going to knuckle down and get some work done today, need to write an essay plan for an essay due in soon and send to my tutor, plus have to prepare for some group work too, arg! Pretty sure I have a tonne of reading to do for next week also, yey! So today is going to be a productive one as I need to get on top of it all.

RED DAY - Thursday

Breakfast - hexB toast (400g wmeal loaf) extra lean bacon, 2 poached eggs. 2 cups of tea (hexA-milk)

Snack - gouda slice (hexA) SW coleslaw, all wrapped up together. Aero mousse (5syns)

Lunch - LM mozarella burger (4syns) salad & SW coleslaw, wmeal roll (hexB)

Haha that should do the trick :). It's such a horrible feeling being bloated! Well done on the loss!

Thanks! Proper WI tomorrow so we'll see, I'm sick of seeing the same numbers on the scales! Congrats on the new house, how exciting! :)

Doing EE again today, just as its more relaxed for weekends, back to red days on monday, might alternate next week, 4lbs gone from the horrible carb bloat from last week. Lots of work to do today, and all I wanted was a lie in, but dog got up at 8, shes now happily back to sleep and I'm awake, pah! bf is cooking us a vietnamese feast tonight so excited for that!

EE DAY - Saturday.

Breakfast : SW hash brown, smoked salmon, 2 poached eggs, ketchup (1syn). Green tea.

TOTALLY OFF PLAN!!! chinese foods, cake, doritos and dips, biscuits, the lot :( Stupid old me! AGAIN! RARRRRRR, oh and sunday toooooo. booooooooo!! I MUST stop doing this!!

Hi what are sw hash browns please?

Hey Lou. :)

Hi Sonia, just peel and grate a potato, put in a clean dishcloth and squeeze as much water out as poss. Season and put in a non stick frying pan with plenty of fry light flatten as flat as poss and keep pressing down so it all sticks together keep lifting up the edge to see how the bottoms doing and when it's firm enough to flip turn it over. I usually cut it into quarters to flip so it's easier. You can add spring onion if u have some which is nice. I do mine in a pancake pan which makes it easier. And just turn the heat up at the very end and keep flipping it to make it crisp up a bit. They're yum

Thank you they sound great!! Will have to give them a try:) I'm only starting today, I've done it before but have just had a baby 4 months ago. I'm exclusively breast feeding him so trying to get my head around having different things. Just hoping it doesn't affect my milk supply x

It should help it I think. SW is a really balanced diet, well it's not even a diet it's just a sensible eating plan for life. I think I'll always do SW even when I'm at target as it just makes sense. Just have extra calcium. I think there's threads on here for people breast feeding if you haven't seen them. Eating loads of fresh food should help your body a lot. I wish I'd just done this when my twins were new instead of spending another 5 years overweight!

Congratulation on the baby! What have you had? And well done for tackling this so soon, it's time consuming cooking from scratch all the time but worth it :)

You are so right!! We just in such bad habits to grab quick food which is usually rubbish. Fresh is always best. I'm going to try really hard this time as having gained 4 stone in pregnancy has really got me down.:-( I had a little boy he is my 7th child I also have a set of twins and they are 13 now.:) I have all boys.
Are your twins identical? Mine are not.
How long have you been doing sw for? Do u go to class?

7!! Oh my! You are very brave doing this with so much going on! Mine are 6 in jan, and no total opposites in pretty much everything! I do it from home, I hated class, I'm pretty off and on with the plan tho, I lost 18lbs on a vlcd and the rest with SW. Been off and on dieting forever but properly since feb, it's been ok, 4stone is pretty much what I wanted to lose, have 1st3 to go now; getting there, I'm just getting complacent as I'm close now and now understand how my body works and what I can do/not do, which I've never really got before and why I yoyo'ed for years and years!

Good luck! How's your first day going? X

Well, I've been off plan since Friday, haven't been gorging like most weekends just eating what I wanted and went out Friday, massive carb bloat so drinking loads of water before bed to flush out, back to red days tomorrow!

Friday - bacon sandwich, no lunch, baileys coffee, club sandwich for dinner, loads of booze!

Saturday - tiger bread bacon sandwich, quorn sausage pitta bread, Vietnamese foods, 3 biscuits.

Sunday - bacon sandwich, amazing burger from our fave pub, spicy noodle soup, sausage sandwich (400g loaf) Cadbury bubbly (small bar) piece of toast with tomatoes

Hi Charl,
Good to see you are still one here. Had an absolute nightmare with internet, wedding plans and general health. All married now and it was a lovely day. Well fallen off track so am now back to make a mends and get into my dream dress in March when we go to a ladies festival. Hope you are ok. Missed chatting to you.

Hello!! I Always wondered where you'd gone! Are you well?? Huge congratulations on the marriage! Was it lovely??

I'm still here! I think I'll be dieting forever as I just seem to get to a point then get stuck for a month, then get my gusto back and lose a bit more!

Welcome back :)

I was really poorly on the day but got through it and we did have a lovely day. Been off work sick for 6 weeks now and tomorrow is my first day back :(
I am looking forward to getting back into some kind of routine as it is hard just being at home. I just want to get back to normal and start to shift some of this weight again. i have successfully managed to put on all that I lost before and have no clothes that fit me lol I think I, like you, will always be on here. I have really missed chatting with you and the others. It feels good to be back

If you just get straight back into it, you could have a really decent first week loss, would help those tight clothes :) I'm just bouncing around the same few lbs, its not really bothering me too much though, I feel a lot more comfortable in my skin, still not amazingly thrilled just not really depressed about it now so its made me be really relaxed, I'm just doing what I want at weekends, and then countering it through the week, this week I really wanted to drop down, so fingers crossed.

Hope your first day back went ok? I always get nervous about going back to work after ages off (well when I did work!) I'm being a total slacker at uni, minimum effort, minimum attendance, I'm being pretty stupid really, and have a plan to do lots of work this weekend and get back into routine next week :)

Ok foods.. Going to try very hard today as WI day tomorrow. Scales looking good as I'm a total serial weigher now I have scales at home, I know people say its bad, but I like understanding how my weight fluctuates and what I eat that makes it bump up instantly! (Carbs, surprise surprise!)

RED DAY - Thursday

Breakfast : small wmeal toast (hexB) smoked salmon, poached eggs. Banana

Lunch : babybel (2/3 hexA) cadbury fingers minis (6syns) 2 ryvita crackerbread (2syns) philly & tomatoes, quorn sausage (1syn)

Dinner : Spag bol (HexB-wmeal pasta) (peppers, carrot, celery, onion, garlic, chopped tomato, mushrooms) lots of salad. HexA parmesan.

I baked and licked the bowl so I'll just take myself up to 15syns for day, as no idea how to count it!

Total Syns - 15

Exercise - walk 2.5miles.
