Don't celebrate too prematurely. Just found out the only funding available is £2700 towards the tuition fees, leaving me to find £1200 minimum.

I don't even think I can do that, so it looks like I am utterly buggered.

I should have known it was too good to be true :(

Have a look into it, it's worth a try. Speak to uni about it as well, see if they have any suggestions.
 
It's okay. All sorted!

H2B has kindly agreed to me using some of the savings which are for moving back home, and paying them back monthly while I'm doing the MA. Thus avoiding interest rates/fees etc. which would come with any form of loan.

He really is an angel! x

Well, the first 2 days of SW didn't exactly happen, but I have been following it properly since yesterday so we shall see what happens at WI on Tuesday.

I'm going to start Kettleworx on Monday - excited!
 
Week 1 WI

I've lost 2lbs!

I'm so happy as I didn't have a full week on plan, and I've weighed in a day early but I'm so pleased to have lost and to have broken the 1st off barrier again! :D
 
Well done hun thats a fab loss...just saw your diary when i was deciding between ww and slimming world, as like you have had enough of losing on a vlcd then gaining. Such a good start and Only Way is Down :D xx
 
I just completed Kettleworx Week 1 Cardio, and all I can say is OH MY GOD!!! I'm so knackered!!! I can't wait to see how this affects my body. I could feel it in my thighs so much! :D

That Cardio is the hardest of anything over the 6 weeks so well done getting through it and keep at it! 2lbs is fab, well done.
 
Thanks hun! My legs were shaking all the way through. I didn't like the punches either. I only have teeny wrists (the only small thing about me!) and the kettlebell really hurt them. I ache a lot today! X

My God, my thighs are killing me today! Think a hot bath is in order. Should be a fun workout tomorrow!!!
 
Hot bath did NOTHING!!! It's so hard to even sit down on the toilet, and then get back up again! But, I'll keep saying it, no pain, no gain!

I'm so proud of myself. I have stayed 100% on track this week so far, and for once in my life, I really believe that I can do this!!
 
Just wait, soon you'll have finished the 6 weeks and be seeing amazing results!
 
I hope so. Some of the stuff, I just can't do it, like the press-up position thing. I cannot do it at the moment. I'll have to keep practising that!

My favourite workout of all three turned out to be the cardio after all!!! I hated all the getting up and lying down of the core workout, and the resistance one really hurt my wrists with all the punches etc.

All in all, I've enjoyed it. And the pain is a good reminder that it's working!!!
 
Just do what you can and modify what you have to. At the end of the day, you're still doing something and as long as you keep moving you'll be burning!
