I wanna get my phone and chuck it against the nearest wall..............Stupid thing keeps going off with texts from my cousin. She decided to give SW a whirl after all but she's driving me crazy with questions and its pretty much the same question over and over

What can I eat on a red day?

Well she decided to ignore what I said to her about ready meals I (told her to make something and take it with her to work). Apparently she put it in the microwave, turned the dial to 5 mins and then checked it after 2 mins.....all fine but when she returned just before the 5 mins.....Black smoke was seeping out the the sealed door..........She turned the machine off and opened the door to find a charred black mess. The smoke rose and set off the smoke alarms. The whole office block had to be evacuated

Try not to laugh..............even though I did lol

I made a few changes to the chicken Hotpot recipes

Fried onions, peppers and cubed potatoes
Layered a casserole dish with them
Added a layer of Cooked chicken pieces
fried 5 rashers of bacon, all fat removed..........cut it up and layered it on top of the chicken
Crumbled two chicken stock cubes over the top and topped up with boiling water
topped off with sautéed potatoes (sprayed in frylight)

Chuck it in the oven for 30-40 mins or until the potatoes are golden brown

Served with mixed veg

I added Worcester Sauce to mine (boyfriend said ewwww no)

was bloody gorgeous..............Thoroughly recommend

Its Weigh In Day

I've lost another 1.5lbs this week.............Its not one of my biggest losses but its still a loss

It also means I have now lost 10% of my body weight.............That's amazing.............

Its been 10 weeks and in that time I have learnt to make better choices with food, I've eaten things I would never have dreamed of before and I've even encouraged others to lose weight and get fit too

I feel really proud of me right now:winner:

My partner is away this week :(
He works in a special needs school and has been asked to accompany some of the older children on a week long residential to Northumberland. I'm very proud of him but extremely worried for my healthy eating plan.
He has supported me all the way in the last 10 weeks, he's really been my rock. Every meal I've attempted, he's eaten too...... I hate cooking for one and my eldest daughter is a fussy eater and won't eat anything but what she is used to. So I will be cooking for one this week and with a 4 month old to look after single handed........... I don't I will be eating well................Pretty sure it will be a week of Mugshots and omelettes and salads for me..............All the quick things

I really really need to stay away from chocolate..............

Stay away from the chocolate, or choose low syn treats when your kids are in bed as a treat with a cuppa, ( that's what I do ;) ) it must be hard when your OH is away, but you can do this, and think how proud he & you will be of yourself if you stick to it :) xx

He's called me to encourage me and let me know that he's still behind me even though he's away.

Ah shame you feel I'll. Don't worry you will be fine this week. Ur on a roll Hun. Even if you do quick and easy stuff that's fine. It has too fit in with you and the kids Hun. It is so hard when your on your own. I do wonder how single parents do it mind you.

Well done to your partner.

Hope the week goes by fast for you and the girls are good too.xx

I was a single parent for years, I hated it. My ex husband decided marriage wasn't for him when I was 17 weeks pregnant with my eldest. He's never ever seen her and I had to begin divorce proceedings just a couple of days after having my baby. She's 11 this summer and in that time, he's never sent a card or a present and CSA have only just managed to track him down to make maintenance payments to her (and he's not doing that willingly)

From birth to 4 years it was just me and her, then I started dating my best friend (turns out he had always liked me but was afraid to tell me in case it ruined our friendship.....he ended up marrying my flat mate and having a baby with her instead !!!!). For the last 6/7 yrs, its been on and off between us due to divorce proceedings (his), family, work and long distance (he's originally from Scun thorpe and I'm in London)
When I fell pregnant with Caitlin, he moved to London permanently and got a flat and a job here....... This is the first time he's been away since last August (first time he's left Caitlin since she was born, so he's finding that difficult)

I didn't do too badly yesterday, Today I am full of cold and don't really feel like eating but I will make sure I eat something, even if it's only fruit and rice cakes lol

I'd like to lose just 1.5lbs this week to complete my next goal of being 13 something

Wow you've had it tough. Glad you found love with your best friend. How lovely is that.

What an ass your ex must be to leave you while your pregnant and then to never see your eldest. What a loser. Children are so important to us , it's hard to imagine why someone wouldn't want to be there. My kids are my life and I wouldn't be without them( even when they are being pains.lol.)

Hope the CSa sort it all out for you as you deserve every penny, its not cheap bringing up children.

Hope you feel better tomorrow. Nice early night for you tonight. Xx

Wow Emma you've had a hard time haven't you, glad the csa have finally got your ex, how can anyone not want to see there own child? It's beyond me, it's really like you and your other half are mention to be, keep strong he will be home soon, then it will be back to normal :)

Lucy you must be joking !!...early night.....I vaguely recollect what they are but haven't experienced one in years lol

The fact that my eldest is Autistic makes life a whole lot more interesting and expensive............and just make my Paul an even more amazing man as he has taken her on as his own and treats both girls exactly the same.....I've been very lucky.
Paul and I lost touch when we both Married other people and didn't speak for 5 years...........I was divorced and he was going through one when we met again...... Fate...........I like to think it was meant to be

Its for him and the girls that I am doing SW, I wanna run round on the beach with them, instead of being the one 'sitting with the bags'. I want to go swimming with them, without feeling to self confident to get into my costume
I'm gonna get over this stinking cold and get back on it............. I will

My ex remarried and moved to brazil (only bloody woman who would have him lol) so CSA couldn't touch him. But surprise surprise, that marriage ended too and he came back to the UK where the Inland revenue !!! found him and now they are garnishing his wages (personally I think its only a matter of time before he quits his job and runs away.....so I will enjoy the fact that he's suffering while it lasts.....personally I dont want anything off him, so I've put all his payments in my daughter's account for when she's older....obviously with her Autism, it will be very beneficial to her)

I've just realised it's a bank holiday this weekend...........he works in a school so I will get three days with him............I don't care if the rain and floods wash my house and car away as long as I get loads of time with my fella and my kids lol

Bumped into a couple of people I haven't seen for a few years, whilst out shopping

1st woman : Bloody hell, you look amazing (remember I am full of cold with a big red nose.....so I thought she was taking the mickey lol)
Looks down at Caitlin and says 'I see you've been busy (wink wink)..........You don't look like you've had a baby, You've lost so much weight'

I just blushed.....I'm not good with compliments lol

2nd woman: OMG, I nearly didn't recognise you.........You look so different !! (now I do think she was over exaggerating)
Looks at Caitlin 'Who's baby is that then ?'................er...Mine.....this is Caitlin, she's 4 months old
'When did you have a baby !!!!'............errrr 4 months ago (now I am really trying not to giggle)
'You don't look like a woman who's had a baby 4 months ago......what's your secret?.....let me guess, so busy with the kids you have no time to eat?'

errrrrr...........Actually I eat like a horse !!!!

Although I'm not good with compliments and was blushing bright red.............It was quite a confidence boost.
