come on Em you can totally make the stone by xmas! You're even lighter than I thought (i was going off your old mini goals) so even less to go before you get there! I bet you'll reach it easy by end of November, and then have another 3 weeks to blast some extra before Xmas!
Thanks so much Rach, I have 7lbs to get my 'stone Christmas target' so an average of 2lb a week means 3 weeks so i may aim for a stone and a half but it could all go wrong and i could only lose something like .5lb a week (always goes wrong when i plan something).
dont you worry about your nan. sure, she means well but so do a lot of skinny people but they dont realise what they say isnt always taken the way they mean it! I have friends who are the "oh we like you the way you are" type. Thing is, they should like me however I am so if i want to be skinnier they should be supportive! I know they ARE trying to be but they dont realise that "we like you how you are now" to me is "we're happier that you're how you are because it makes us look better" - this is just how my paranoid brain looks at it.. but still, you see what i mean right?
Yeah i get ya. The thing about my nan is she did the same sort of things to my mum. My mum has quite a complex about it now actually; it's really affected her. My nan always makes comments about how 'if she had raised me from when i was a child i wouldnt be fat now'. I suppose my mum eats what she likes now and when she wants it as a sort of rebellion against her childhood where it was strictly controlled. My mum has a weight problem too and part of mine has stemmed from living at my mums and the unhealthy lifestyle but most of it is me and my choice of food for the last 19 years!
you do points right? have you considered following Core for a week? I dont know if you're kinda fussy with food or anything and what time you have for planning / making meals etc, but Core can give you a good boost if you switch even for just a week?
Aye indeed, i do points. I have thought about it but i'm a 'snacker'... even if its just fruit.... i know you get 21 points a week but honestly, i dont know if i could manage it as i am on 29 points a day!!!!!
