Brunch:
chicken subway salad with some dahl loaf too
fruit salad

snack:
rice pudding with berries, banana and yog

Dinner:
fanta chicken with loads of peppers, onion and carrots. had it with noodles

HEb:
special k chewy delight

HEa:
cheese

great day food wise for me today...really enjoyed it and lots of superfree there too ....yay! :D x
 
Looking good as ever. You are so positive with that weight gain. Hopefully it disappears next week.


Cottage cheese and bean bakes, don`t think I know that one. Sounds interesting. Must look through my recipes and see if I have go it. Would like to try that.

it's on the sw website...you just boil some potatoes, mash them, add cottage cheese and beans (i add onion too) and an egg and then fry (i bake)
the mixture is super runny though so i sometimes add some smash flakes to thicken it up enough to mould into patties .

they're not bad...nice for a wee change :)

wee taste of cheeseburger quiche which i made (recipe from slimming eats)

baked potato with coronation chicken (just mixed some e/l mayo with curry powder through the chicken)
bowl of fruit salad

cheese

got a confession...i weighed myself at tesco tonight. i don't have scales in the house and i never really have sneaky WI's and always nag people who do lol, but i wanted to see if i was down any after my 4lb gain on monday....i'm not!!!???
i really thought that the gain was mostly down to the salts etc and bloat from eating out on saturday so thought there would be some sort of improvement since then but nope.... :(

i know it's unofficial but it has got to me a wee bit. i seriously never ate 14000 calories over what i need daily to gain the 4lbs it said i did and i know i'll need to wait and see what happens on monday but just :(
 
Thanks for that recipe.

Put on 1/2lb a week for the last 3wks. Been with the grandkids for a week.

Weigh in tomorrow or saturday.

bowl of fruit salad with yog and a mugshot

cheese and onion "pasty", sw chips and beans (proper comfort food lol)

Hi missus, hope yer well? I'v been AWOL 4 nearly a week so just tryin 2 catch up on everybody's diaries...Sorry 2 hear bout yer gain but u r 2 b commended on yer positive attitude! Never worry bout the scales at Tesco cos who even knows if they're rite! Unfortunately I put on 1lb at this week's WI but I can't complain since I aven't been properly on plan so I'm considerin myself lucky it's not more n that I'v managed 2 escape wif just STS the last few weeks. Anyway I'l b actin as "SW consultant" 4 my sis from next week n Chris is tryin 2 quit smoking again n wants 2 lose weight as well so I'm goin back on plan 100% 2 lead by example! lol! x

Well I'm hopin that by teachin sum1 else the SW plan it'l reinforce it in me again which is wat I think I really need.

If anybody claims never 2 ave had a sneaky WI they're lyin thru their teeth! lol! We'v all done it!

Sam's getting really big, he's at an awkward inbetween sizes stage. He's 2 long 4 most of the 0-3mths stuff but the 3-6mths stuff is mostly very baggy on him. I must transfer sum more pics so I can post a recent 1. He had his 1st jabs on Wed there (2wks late cos they kept changing his appointment!). Everybody was tellin me how bad he'd b after n that I shud dose him wif Calpol b4hand. I didn't like the idea of dosin him unnecessarily so I thot we'd risk it n he was ok. He was a bit grouchy that evenin but that's understandable x
 
that was good that he was ok. i think they recommend the calpol incase they get a wee temperature.

think it's 3 or 4 days after that if they're gonna be icky with them then they are...but i guess if anything came up from then over a couple of weeks, they'd no doubt blame the jags anyway? lol

you mentioned before you thought he was teething....any signs yet?
how is he sleeping through the night now?x

Pleased to say lost 2 lbs. Now to lose more !!! Been enjoying rice and berries couple of days. Making more soup after shopping tomorrow. Gonna freeze some. It is not so thick when thawed out, but will try again.

great news on the loss! :D

no, i don't freeze any but if i had a any room in the freezer, i'd prob make more and freeze some rather than a pot every week. i use about 70g of lentils for 1 litre of water and it's thick so lets me add a wee drop water each time i'm heating a portion up...if you freeze it thicker, it might end up ok once it's thawed?

i love the rice pudding and berries, what did you think?
tried quinoa yesterday for the 1st time (just had the other half this morning with strawberries, blueberries and banana) - it tasted different this morning having it cold cos yest i had it straight from the hob and thought it was similar to porridge?

well done again on the loss, it always gives us a wee spring in our step eh x

Thank you. I absolutely LOVE the rice and berries. I think I prefer long grain rice cooked too long so it plumps up a bit rather than pudding rice. . Gonne try the pudding rice again today in the diet cream soda.

As for the soup, good idea about making it a bit thicker when freezing. However my BNS & carrot soup is quite thick anyway and the only one that I have frozen and used. When it had completely thawed I put it in a small saucepan and bought it to the boil, then it did seem a little better I have frozen oneportion of the tomato one. Wil see how it goes.

I suppose it would keep to 4th day in the fridge. What do you think or should I eat a bigger portion and only use for 3 days.

what do you have in your rice pudding- yog? or do you cook it in milk?
i cook mine in water (sometimes add a splash at the end) cos when i mix the yog in, it would be silly to have wasted a HEa cos it makes it creamy anyway.
i did buy the koko milk to make the quinoa the other day and got some chocolate stuff too which i thought i'd try the rice pudding in to change my HEa a bit cos it's always cheese! lol

not really a fan of chocolate milk but thought i'd give it a go anyway lol x

I have tried again with the diet cream soda, it was better maybe because I didn`t forget about it and let it cook too long.

i really liked it and the recipe i saw asked for jam and sultanas etc which would only means using syns (and i need them for goodies lol)
i just mixed some mild curry powder with the mayo and voila!

enjoy the next few days, i've been busy this morning cooking dahl loaf, quiche and rice pudding which will do me the next few days at work and save me having to sort snacks etc out every day ;) x
